B2ST signs contract to appear on ‘Weekly Idol’ again for next album release

Back in December, B2ST member Doojoon signed an official contract, promising that B2ST would feature on ‘Weekly Idol‘ when B2ST would released their next album. He followed through on this promise as B2ST appeared on the last two episodes of ‘Weekly Idol’.

To reaffirm their next appearance on the show, it seems ‘Weekly Idol’ hilariously had each of the members sign an additional contract as well. The photo below was recently posted via Weekly Idol’s official Twitter with the words, “The highlight of today’s program! We could not simply send B2ST away like this, so in the end, we were able to happily end by obtaining two documents! What innocent young men they are ^_^ Is is true that you have a year-end comeback?

The actual contract read, ‘Weekly Idol Appearance Document – Because we feel our film session today was unfortunately short, we B2ST promise to gladly give one day of our next album promotions to ‘Weekly Idol’. We stress that the above conditions are not a penalty, but most definitely an award.’

The contract was then dated, and each of the members stamped their fingerprints to make it official. Don’t think any of the B2UTIES will mind seeing more of the boys!

B2ST members insult leader Doojoon on Weekly Idol

On ‘Weekly Idol‘, the members of B2ST took turns with a few insults on leader Doojoon.

Yoseob flustered Doojoon by stating, “If (Doojoon) tries to make us laugh, and we don’t, his fists come up first. Lately Doojoon has been going to acting school and he’s using what he learns on us“.

At this confession, the MCs suggested a game of “You’re right“. The “You’re right” game is where one person says anything they wish and the other has to reply “You’re right”.

The game started with Yoseob, who spilled more of Doojoon’s secrets. “Doojoon, do you remember? Do you remember hitting me earlier for not laughing?“, “Do you remember hitting me in the head with a soccer ball?“, “Do you remember borrowing money from me?” and more causing laughter to fill the studio.

Junhyung followed up and said, “Do you know you’re not funny lately? After ‘Sweet Rain’ it was over for you“.  Kikwang asked, “Our Doojoon, you try so hard at acting but do you know it’s kind of awkward?” shocking Doojoon. However the greatest laughter came from maknae Dongwoon when he said, “You know most people think of Kikwang when you say B2ST?

With the members burying their leader, more laughter followed throughout the show. And with another episode next week, fans can’t wait for more.

B2ST’s Junhyung makes hilarious remarks about his members on ‘B2ST on QTV’

B2ST‘s Junhyung will be bringing much laughter on the upcoming episode of ‘B2ST on QTV‘.

The idol shared some hilarious remarks as he revealed the dirt on his fellow members much to their embarrassment during a session of answering fans’ questions.

When one fan commented, “I want to check if Kikwang is really an angel or not,” Junhyung answered, “It’s an outer shell of pretense.” In addition, when Doojoon was picked as “the member who would pay for people the most”, Junhyung made Doojoon feel a bit flustered by revealing,“But later, he makes it a point to always tell people that he paid.

Kikwang fired back, “Junyoung is stingy with complimenting others. He is more enthusiastic about pointing out their flaws and has fun with it.” Doojoon also playfully grabbed Junhyung’s collar while commenting, “He gets really excited when saying bad things about me.”

Junhyung tried to reason with the two stating, “I’m only doing this to make for a good show.” However, when he was picked as “the member you would not want to go on a vacation with” Junhyung quickly abandoned his jokes as he sulked, “I’m not going to go on a vacation~, I’m not going!

B2ST sends a special gift to a 13 year old fan battling cancer

B2ST has been revealed to have sent a very special present to a 13 year old fan who’s currently battling cancer.

On B2ST’s official fancafe, a person claiming to be a missionary wrote a post stating, “Please help 13 year old Seohyun (alias) who’s currently fighting cancer.” Revealing that she was receiving stage three of chemotherapy, the post went on to state, “Seohyun has now shaved off all of her hair and refuses to look in the mirror. She is so beautiful, and yet she does not want to take off her hat even while in bed. Her lips are chapped and it is difficult for her to speak or eat, so she’s also lost a lot of weight. She’s in deep sadness, always asking why she must suffer such pain. The only consolation she has is B2ST. She yearns for their autograph.”

The post eventually made its way to the eyes of the B2ST members, and they promptly sent a special gift box filled with not only their autographed CDs, but also their photobooks and a handwritten letter. Although it might not seem much, the present meant the world to Seohyun. To her friends, she left messages stating, “It’s really B2ST! Doojoon oppa and Yoseob oppa wrote me a letter, and the rest of the oppas even left autographs! I’m so happy.”

The missionary spoke with Sports World and expressed, “Seohyun has reached adolescence, and with that came the depression of having to endure her chemotherapy treatments. After receiving B2ST’s gifts, she was extremely happy and now has a positive outlook on life. Fortunately, she’ll be able to complete the rest of her chemotherapy and return to her hometown to continue her treatments.”

A representative of Cube Entertainment also expressed, “We feel pressured knowing that something we definitely should have done has made it out to the public eye. We’re well aware that B2ST fans are involved with charities and volunteer work, and the B2ST members are so very touched by it and aim to do whatever they can to help out.”

Doojoon and Yoseob added, “We’re just grateful that Seohyun likes B2ST despite her difficult situation. We hope that she gets better soon so that we can all meet up.”

B2ST and B2UTIES are no strangers to good deeds. Back at their ‘Beautiful Show‘ concert in February, fans donated 5,835.9 kg of rice wreaths and 8,036 briquettes. Yoseob’s fans also headlined for gathering donations to help children suffering from incurable diseases.

Yoon Doojoon shares his thoughts on wrapping up BEAST’s Japanese Tour

BEAST‘s leader Yoon Doojoon shared some thoughts ahead of the group’s last performance in Japan.

On March 27th, the singer wrote a post titled ‘Ay-yo‘ on his official fan cafe.

We only have one performance left in Japan,” he began. “It’s so exhausting. While putting on five performances back to back, there are an infinite number of thoughts that ran through my head, and a lot of things also occurred during that time.”

My throat that seemed just fine during two days of performances in Seoul is becoming more hoarse with time, and my knee that seemed like it would be okay is starting to become really painful. I was so exhausted that after Yoseob & Junhyung‘s ‘Thanks to’ performance, I went backstage with Dongwoon and complained about how exhausted he was. Our manager hyung then told us about something he read in ‘Mister Sushi King’. ‘There may be 100 different sushi pieces to a chef, but to a customer, there is only the one in front of them.’ Hearing that, Dongwoon and I who are devoted readers of ‘Mister Sushi King’ then got our act back together.”

There are a few fans that come see us perform so often that we remember their faces,” he continued. “These people may see us and be understanding that we aren’t feeling our best that day, but the fans who are seeing us for the first time will remember us in that image / moment forever. I reflected back on myself and wondered if I have been always giving my 100% singing and dancing on stage. I asked myself if there were any performances where I didn’t try hard enough. And being human, I realized that I hadn’t always given my all or my best. I am reflecting on these actions, and I promise you- BEAST has many more performances to put on in the future than the number of performances we’ve put on until now, so we will always do our very best.”

He added, “It’s already been 3 years since we debuted. After BEAST came A-Pink and BtoB. Watching music programs, I realize that we have more junior artists than seniors now. I have become 24 years old and my body isn’t the way it used to be in high school. As I grow older, I realize how precious each and every single day really is. I am so glad I am able to sing and dance in front of so many people, and grateful that I’m living a unique life where others are envious of what I do.”

BEAST kicked off their Japan tour by performing in front of 23,000 Japanese fans at the Yokohama Arena back on March 21st & 22nd, and wrapped up their final Japanese performance in Nagoya on the 27th.

B2ST’s Doojoon discusses popularity, winning, and upcoming world tour

Having risen to the top of idol groups in just two years, BEAST is now looking forward to a 14-country worldwide tour. They’ve been on the fast track to success since their debut, and each new month brings even bigger and better achievements.

To celebrate the year’s end, leader Doojoon sat down for a series of interviews honoring the ‘Hot People Who Made This Year Shine’ by OSEN.

He began, “We still have to work so much harder. Really. I’m not saying this because it’s an interview, but we truly felt disappointed in that we hoped, ‘If only we could release another album…’ Officially, we only had five weeks worth of promotion time in Korea.”

At the mention of their growing popularity, Doojoon immediately shook his hands no. “Honestly speaking, we thought we’d hit it really big with our debut (laughter). We thought that even though we might not reach top star status, we’d still gain quite a bit of recognition. That wasn’t it, though. Thanks to other idol groups, we received some attention, but other than that, it was really hard for us. The members prepared their hearts, with some wondering whether they should get a part time job while others wondered what other career paths to take, really seriously.”

Even though they look like they’re always joking around and having fun, the quality of their work reflects the amount of hard work and thought put into their products.

It was during ‘Mystery‘ where we noticed that we were suddenly having many fans come to our promotions. We thought that if we worked just a little bit harder, we could receive more attention. For a long time, we thought hard and worried a lot. We were.. what would you call it.. desperate.”

On the completion of a successful solo concert at the Seoul Olympic Stadium earlier this year, he expressed, “Performing at the Stadium was an unbelievable moment for us. Previously, we had attended the concerts for G-Dragon and Boyz II Men and wondered when we would be able to perform there as well. But once it was actually time for us to perform there, I know it sounds pitiful now, but at the time, we were really worried that people would think we were just blowing hot air. It had only been two years into our debut, and time wise, it was a bit early. Fortunately, a lot of people came, and I’ll never forget that concert.”

BEAST has always been “early” in achieving everything, though. From their solo concert to even a Daesang and a world tour, they’ve achieved everything at a faster pace than many of their peers. Instead of getting arrogant, they’ve become more humble.

“We received a lot of hate after receiving the Daesang (laughter). We acknowledged that and told ourselves that we’d promote longer the year after so that we can receive the Daesang more confidently. The world tour is also a lot of pressure, especially since in terms of Hallyu, we’re still babies. I’m nervous in that I feel we’re starting a bit early compared to our seniors, but we’ll work hard to pull it off. I also hope that people will anticipate our Korean album release after our tour. We’re really determined about this. Honestly speaking, the awards don’t really matter. More than anything, we want to become a group that even the elderly will be able to name when surveyed about idol groups.”

Concluding the interview, Doojoon talked about the bond between his members. “We all have a great relationship. I think our relationship right now is the best it has been since debut. Past Christmas, we watched a movie together in our dorm titled ‘Take Off‘. All of us were lying down, crying (laughter).
