B2ST’s Junhyung has a fat tongue?







B2ST‘s rapper Junhyung‘s nickname was recently revealed to be ‘Tongue Fatty‘ on the September 5th episode of MBC every1‘s ‘Weekly Idol‘, giving everyone on the set a good laugh.


During the ‘Rewritten Profile’ segment of the show, the ‘Tongue Fatty’ nickname was found on Junhyung’s profile, surprising MC’s Hyungdon and Defconn. Junhyung asked, “When you wake up in the morning, don’t you feel like your tongue is swollen?“, to which MC Hyungdon responded, “My tongue is always swollen, so I wouldn’t know“.


The writers of the show then produced a ruler and MC Hyungdon compared the thickness of his tongue to that of Junhyung’s. He commented, surprised by the difference, “You could use this as an individual talent on variety shows“, making everyone laugh.

B2ST’s Junhyung reveals he was misunderstood due to the look in his eyes





Idol group B2ST‘s rapper Junhyung revealed that he had been misunderstood before due to the look that his eyes gave off.


On the August 27th episode of KBS 2TV ‘Hello‘, the B2ST members featured as guests and relayed stories from times when they had been misunderstood due to their outer appearance.


Junhyung revealed, “People told me that I didn’t look like I was motivated due to the look my eyes give off.” The other members added, “Junhyung often heard that he had a dead look in his eyes.”


“But, I’ve fixed it a lot now,” Junhyung stated confidently as he opened his eyes widely trying to prove his point. MC Shin Don Yup joked, “If you blink your eyes frequently you can look even more motivated.” The studio was then brought to laughter as Junhyung decided to try out Shin Dong Yup’s suggestion.

B2ST’s Junhyung disqualified from ‘We Got Married’ casting call





B2ST‘s Junhyung was disqualified from the open casting call for MBC‘s ‘We Got Married 3‘.


On the August 25th broadcast of the show, Junhyung and the rest of the B2ST members decided to try to their hand at being cast for the show. However, the rapper got disqualified right away for being a “man who would get slapped by his girlfriend if he appeared on ‘We Got Married’”.


Junhyung is well-known to be in a public relationship with KARA‘s Hara.


On the same episode, Yoseob was disqualified for wearing insoles in his shoes to increase his height, while Doojoon was disqualified for being the sort of the guy who would cheat on his girlfriend, causing laughter.

B2ST’s Junhyung makes hilarious remarks about his members on ‘B2ST on QTV’





B2ST‘s Junhyung will be bringing much laughter on the upcoming episode of ‘B2ST on QTV‘.


The idol shared some hilarious remarks as he revealed the dirt on his fellow members much to their embarrassment during a session of answering fans’ questions.


When one fan commented, “I want to check if Kikwang is really an angel or not,” Junhyung answered, “It’s an outer shell of pretense.” In addition, when Doojoon was picked as “the member who would pay for people the most”, Junhyung made Doojoon feel a bit flustered by revealing,“But later, he makes it a point to always tell people that he paid.


Kikwang fired back, “Junyoung is stingy with complimenting others. He is more enthusiastic about pointing out their flaws and has fun with it.” Doojoon also playfully grabbed Junhyung’s collar while commenting, “He gets really excited when saying bad things about me.”


Junhyung tried to reason with the two stating, “I’m only doing this to make for a good show.” However, when he was picked as “the member you would not want to go on a vacation with” Junhyung quickly abandoned his jokes as he sulked, “I’m not going to go on a vacation~, I’m not going!

Junhyung chosen as the least athletic member in B2ST?





The B2ST members have chosen main rapper Junhyung as the least athletic of their group.


During a recent recording for KBS 2TV ‘Dream Team 2‘ it was reported that the B2ST members showed off their hidden athleticism throughout the show surprising even the original ‘Dream Team 2′ members.


MC Lee Chang Myung said, “During an interview before the show, the B2ST members picked Yong Junhyung as the least athletic,” revealing the result of a secret poll that took place amongst the members.


Upon hearing this, Junhyung then refuted, “It’s because I rarely play sports but I am good when I do play,” showing confidence in his athleticism despite the claims of his fellow members.


Before the competition, leader Yoon Doojoon commented, “I am aware that other idols have showcased their outstanding athleticism while filming ‘Dream Team,” and nervously added, “I’m nervous that I will embarrass myself.


However, despite Doojoon’s worries, the B2ST members revealed their booming athleticism shocking the onlooking fans. There are also rumors that said the boys were surprisingly determined and didn’t spare their bodies while performing the challenges given.


The episode featuring B2ST will air on August 26th.

B2ST members share their most recent concerns on ‘Show Champion’





The B2ST members have a lot to smile about these days, especially after earning a #1 K-Chart win on multiple music programs, but even these boys seemed to have their share of concerns.


B2ST who performed on MBC Music‘s ‘Show Champion‘ listened to the concerns of their fellow peers, and then shared some of their own.


Kikwang began, “I have not been getting enough sleep, so my voice cracks when I hit the high notes,” while Yoseob added, “I want to grow taller,” and Yong Junhyung remarked, “I run out of breath really easily these days.


Member Jang Hyun Seung who admitted he ate a lot of meat these days said, “I eat beef twice a day, and I’m afraid my personality will become really vicious,” and maknae Son Dongwoon hilariously confessed, “It’s so cold here right now, I don’t know what to do with myself.


Leader Doojoon displayed his leadership as he shared, “I want B2ST to become even more successful, and I am thinking of how we can accomplish that.


Despite their concerns, the boys seized the ‘Champion Song’ position and proved that they are currently one of the hottest idol groups in K-Pop.

BeBe Mignon’s Haegeum reveals she received confessions from five male idols





On the most recent episode of ‘Strong Heart‘, BeBe Mignon‘s Haegeum revealed that she had received confessions from 5 idol stars.


When asked if anyone had expressed interest in her, she answered “yes” then further revealed that not just one, but five male idols had tried to woo her.


The singer continued, “There was one person the same age as me that I was interested in. However, there were rumors that he was known as a player in the entertainment industry so my friends persuaded me not to [act on my feelings]. They told me ‘Someone else I know came to me about the same issue a few days ago’.”


In response to Haegeum’s confession, Super Junior‘s Leeteuk revealed a long list of possible 89er male idols which included B2ST‘s Junhyung, Doojoon, and Hyunseung, SHINee‘s Onew, 2AM‘s Jokwon, 2PM‘s Wooyoung, CNBLUE‘s Yonghwa, 4Men‘s Shin Yong Jae, Big Bang‘s Daesung, U-KISS‘s Soohyun, ZE:A‘s Junyoung and Heechul, and INFINITE‘s Sungkyu.

Eru’s “I Hate You” ft. B2ST’s Junhyung ranks high on music charts





Eru has made a comeback with a totally different style, which seems to be working out just fine.


On the 8th, the singer’s new mini-album “Feel Brand New Part.2” was released and soon after, the title song “I Hate You” ranked #1 on charts like Bugs and Soribada. It has also been seen ranked amongst the top 10 on sites like MelOn and Mnet.


The title song, composed by Duble Sidekick, is an electronic house rhythm ballad. B2ST‘s Junhyung has also featured on the song and in the music video, further attracting the interest of fans.


Other artists like Mighty Mouse‘s Shorry and Ailee have also participated in the album, helping Eru incorporate a variety of genres into his newest release.


In related news, Eru is planning a comeback stage on Mnet‘s ‘M!Countdown‘ this week along with a special featuring by Junhyung.

‘Good Day’ reveals the top 3 idols with the highest incomes from royalties





Big Bang‘s G-Dragon has been revealed to be the idol with the highest incomes from royalties.


The June 4th broadcast of SBS‘s ‘Good Day‘ revealed the top three artists who make the most money from royalties, and they were none other than B2ST‘s Yong Junhyung, Kang Ta, and Big Bang’s G-Dragon.


B2ST’s Yong Junhyung came in at number 3. He has personally written and composed a number of songs that hit it big, including some for his own group B2ST. Thanks to his song-writing talent, he is currently the member with the highest income. On a previous episode of MBC‘s ‘Radio Star‘, Junhyung had also remarked that the amount of royalties he receives is beyond overwhelming.


Singer and Director at SM Entertainment Kang Ta came in at second place, he has more than 100 songs registered with the Korean Music Copyright Association, and he is known to earn close to $500,000 a year from royalties alone.


And G-Dragon who came in first place previously came in first place again. He previously bragged on the April 20th broadcast of SBS’s ‘Go Show‘ that he is responsible for writing, composing and producing songs, and that he makes an impressive profit off his royalties alone. Impressive indeed, as the singer-songwriter was reported to earn over $800,000 a year from just the royalties.

Baek Ji Young prefers B2ST’s Junhyung over 2PM’s Taecyeon





Baek Ji Young confessed on May 26th’s broadcast of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Entertainment Relay‘ that she prefers B2ST‘s Junhyung over 2PM‘s Taecyeon.


The “Good Boy“ singer appeared on the “Guerilla Date” segment of the show, and was asked, “Do you like Ok Taecyeon or Yong Junhyung?”


Baek Ji Young ultimately went with the rapper who featured in “Good Boy”, answering, “Right now, Yong Junhyung.” When questioned by fans during the street interview if she liked who featured in her song, she replied, “Are you asking about Yong Junhyung? I really like him.” Taecyeon previously featured in her hit song ”My Ear’s Candy“.


The singer also discussed her feelings on love and work in the same episode.

Dalmatian’s Simon to have joint performance with Baek Ji Young on ‘Inkigayo’





On the May 20th broadcast of SBS‘s ‘Inkigayo‘, Dalmatian member, Simon will be performing along with Baek Ji Young to her new track, “Good Boy“.


According to reports, Baek Ji Young personally requested Simon’s presence. “Due to his busy schedule, B2ST‘s Junhyung can’t perform on the stage with me all the time.  We had a problem, but after I saw Simon’s amazing rap skills, I asked someone who was acquainted with him to invite him“, the singer said.


According to Baek Ji Young’s agency, “There were a lot of proposals coming in due to the significant impact the rap part has on the song. Despite the intense competition, Simon was picked to sing the part. The two are currently practicing hard to show a perfect performance. You can anticipate them.”


Simon who has a Korean father and Japanese mother, is fluent in Korean, Japanese, and English.  He is also talented in various areas like dancing and singing.

Photos of Baek Ji Young and B2ST‘s Junhyung celebrating their first performance of “Good Boy” were released on the 17th.


WS Entertainment shared on their official Twitter, “Baek Ji Young with Junhyung on their first ‘M! Countdown‘ stage,” along with a few photos.


Fans commented, “Your performance yesterday was the best,” “Every stage should be like this,” and “I’m looking forward to your sexy performances.”


Baek Ji Young made a successful comeback after three years with her new mini-album, ‘Good Boy‘, and finished her first comeback stage on the 17th. B2ST’s Junhyung also made an appearance, which made for an exciting performance.

Baek Ji Young to release “Good Boy” featuring B2ST’s Yong Jun Hyung





Singer, Baek Ji Young will be collaborating with B2ST‘s Yong Jun Hyung on a new single!


Baek Ji Young’s new mini album title track, “Good Boy” will be officially released on May 17th.  B2ST’s Yong Jun Hyung will be singing the rap lyrics of the song.  It’s also been reported that he will be featured in Good Boy’s music video, along with a stage appearance with Baek Ji Young on music television programs.


“Good Boy” has been produced by a popular composition team, that includes One Way‘s Chance and will feature powerful beats throughout the song.  The song also has some Spanish influence with guitar riffs and will emit a majestic melody from a 14-piece orchestra, along with an impressive dance choreography.


On May 13th, according to Baek Ji Young’s agency, “During the recording, Yong Jun Hyung revealed his impressive rap skills.  With only a few tries, he managed to satisfy everyone with his rap part.  He received much praise from the composers that worked with him.  I think it’s safe for everyone to anticipate it.”


This will be Baek Ji Young’s first dance title single since “My Ear’s Candy” released 3 years ago.  WS Entertainment will be releasing the teaser for the music video on the 14th through their official Youtube Channel.


Aside from Yong Jun Hyung, Baek Ji Young has worked with idol 2PM‘s Taecyeon in the past, through her previous project, “My Ear’s Candy”.

T-ara’s “Lovey Dovey” was B2ST member Junhyung’s idea?





Talented B2ST member Junhyung, well known among K-pop fans for his songwriting skills, was revealed to have played a role in the creation of T-ara‘s hit, “Lovey Dovey“.


On the upcoming May 6th broadcast of MBC‘s ‘K-pop Star Captivating the World‘, Hallyu group B2ST’s road to stardom will be featured.


In the episode on B2ST, top K-pop producer, Shinsadong Tiger, also makes an appearance. Known for his hits with B2ST such as “Breath“, “Shock“, “Fiction“, and more, the producer is one of the figures who introduced Junhyung to the world of music composition.


Junhyung commented, “I follow and trust Shinsadong Tiger like an older brother. Anytime we don’t have a schedule lined up, I visit him at his recording studio.” Shinsadong Tiger himself sang the praises of Junhyung, stating, “Yong Junhyung gives me a lot of suggestions on song titles and other ideas. T-ara’s ‘Lovey Dovey’ was actually Yong Junhyung’s idea.”

B2ST’s Junhyung releases a BTS look into his recording for Prepix





 


On April 23rd, a behind-the-scenes look into the recording studio of B2ST‘s Junhyung rapping for Prepix‘s “What I See” was released online.


Previously, it was revealed that Junhyung would be featuring for Prepix’s new song as a rapper out of loyalty and friendship for Ha Woosin, who choreographed B2ST’s “Shock“, “Soom“, and “Fiction“.


Junhyung certainly looks like he’s in his element in the recording booth and looks a lot younger without any stage make-up on.

BEAST’s Yong Junhyung selected as the #1 idol fashionista





BEAST‘s Yong Junhyung was selected as the #1 idol fashionista.


On the most recent recording for MBC Everyone‘s ‘Weekly Idol‘, the idol stars themselves chose the top 10 K-Pop idols they felt had the best fashion sense.


Previously, Big Bang leader G-Dragon was selected as the #1 ‘Idol Fashionista’ as well as the ‘Luxury High-End Idol’. So for this poll, the staff members decided to exclude G-Dragon’s name from the list.


Other idols chosen included T-ara‘s Hyomin, SHINee‘s Key, JYJ‘s Park Yoochun, 2NE1‘s CL, and more, but BEAST’s Yong Junhyung triumphed over everyone and claimed the #1 spot.


TEEN TOP‘s Niel remarked, “I heard (Junhyung) was a fashionista,” and FT Island‘s Hongki added, “He’s as crazy about clothes as I am.”

Yong Junhyung’s father approves of KARA’s Goo Hara





BEAST member Junhyung‘s father was asked which girl group member he would approve of as his daughter-in-law, and he selected KARA‘s Goo Hara, who happens to be Junhyung’s current girlfriend.


On the February 21st episode of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Win Win‘, Junhyung’s father remarked, “I thought a lot about this question. Junhyung once brought Goo Hara home, and I thought that she was a nice and bright girl. It’s nice to see how cute they are together.


In regards to his son’s public relationship he remarked, “I was pretty surprised in the beginning. Once the news got out, it was all over the internet. I was a little bit concerned.


Junhyung who became a bit embarrassed joked, “I should never have been caught,” causing the other guests on set to roar in laughter.


The BEAST members who guest-featured for a special edition of ‘Win Win’ honestly talked about the difficult times they had to endure in order to become the group they are today.

B2ST’s Junhyung & INFINITE’s L to cameo in ‘Salamander Guru’





BEAST‘s Junhyung and INFINITE‘s L will be making a cameo appearance in SBS’s sitcom, ‘Salamander Guru’.


On the episode scheduled to be broadcast on February 10th, Junhyung and L will guest-star as members of a “flower boy” trio of thieves along with SHINee‘s Minho.


The trio worked together in the past to hack into a wealthy home’s security system in order to steal a valuable painting. Although ‘Minhyuk’ (Minho) is trying to leave those dark days behind him, ‘Joker’ (Junhyung) and ‘L’ (L) are still living out their lives as thieves.


The two seek out Minho to collaborate with them once more. While Junhyung pins Minho to the ground and demands his cooperation, L, a gangster, easily handles those who try to come to Minho’s defense. As a result, the “flower boy” trio will embark on another mission to steal another valuable painting along with the ugly salamander gurus.


After the shoot, the production staff remarked, “It seems like it’s raining flowers around us. These are amazing guys who are able to act, in addition to possessing sculpture-like faces and great singing ability.”

Junhyung & Hara’s bracelets are not couple bracelets?





Contrary to earlier reports that BEAST‘s Junhyung and Kara‘s Goo Hara were wearing couple bracelets, new reports have surfaced claiming that those are not couple bracelets.


Junhyung’s fans have come forth with the statement that, “Contrary to reports, Junhyung’s bracelet is not a couple bracelet, but a birthday wish bracelet that his fans gave to him last December 19th. As you can tell in the photos, Goo Hara’s bracelet has a longer charm than Junhyung’s. They are of completely different design.”


It is said that when one makes a wish as they put on the bracelet for the first time, it will come true after the bracelet has worn out and fallen off. This bracelet is reported to have been popular in America and Europe after 9/11, and has recently come to Korea.


Furthermore, the fans have added that, “Goo Hara’s bracelet is actually the same design as those of BEAST’s other members, Yang Yoseob and Jang Hyunseung“.  The fans have even uploaded a picture of Yoseob with the identical bracelet to prove that they are not couple bracelets.


On January 26th, an online community post titled, ‘Junyung & Goo Hara with couple bracelets‘ caused a flood of commentary, as many netizens drew the connection between the bracelets and the two’s acknowledgement of their relationship last year.

KARA‘s Goo Hara and BEAST’s Junhyung, who shocked everyone by going public with their relationship last year, have been spotted wearing what appears to be a couple bracelet!


On January 27th, a photo was shared on a message board along with the caption, “Yong Junhyung – Goo Hara, couple bracelets?” This compilation of photos and screenshots show the two wearing a silver bracelet with the same design, as if to quietly confirm their affection for one another.


Netizens commented, “I’m jealous, so let’s stop rubbing it in,” and “I hope you guys will date for a long time.”
