BeBe Mignon’s Haegeum reveals she received confessions from five male idols

On the most recent episode of ‘Strong Heart‘, BeBe Mignon‘s Haegeum revealed that she had received confessions from 5 idol stars.

When asked if anyone had expressed interest in her, she answered “yes” then further revealed that not just one, but five male idols had tried to woo her.

The singer continued, “There was one person the same age as me that I was interested in. However, there were rumors that he was known as a player in the entertainment industry so my friends persuaded me not to [act on my feelings]. They told me ‘Someone else I know came to me about the same issue a few days ago’.”

In response to Haegeum’s confession, Super Junior‘s Leeteuk revealed a long list of possible 89er male idols which included B2ST‘s Junhyung, Doojoon, and Hyunseung, SHINee‘s Onew, 2AM‘s Jokwon, 2PM‘s Wooyoung, CNBLUE‘s Yonghwa, 4Men‘s Shin Yong Jae, Big Bang‘s Daesung, U-KISS‘s Soohyun, ZE:A‘s Junyoung and Heechul, and INFINITE‘s Sungkyu.

U-KISS’ Soohyun might have a girlfriend?

On the June 5th broadcast of MBC Music‘s ‘Show Champion‘, the guests were put to the test with a lie detector.

An interesting situation came up when U-KISS‘ Kiseop asked member Soohyun: “Do you have a girlfriend?” Soohyun replied that he did not, but the lie detector responded that he was lying.

The members of B.A.P were also questioned as to whether they ever regretted joining their group, and as expected, they answered that they did not. However, the lie detector identified that they weren’t being truthful.

Other guests who featured on the episode are INFINITE, Girls’ Generation sub-unit TaeTiSeo, Baek Ji Young, G.NA, B1A4, Mighty Mouth with Soya, Dalmatian, JJ Project, Hello Venus, A-JAX, She’z, and more. This episode of ‘Show Champion’ aired on June 5 at 7pm KST on MBC Music.

U-KISS reveals Soohyun’s teaser photo for ‘The Special to KissMe’ + album details

U-KISS has released Soohyun‘s teaser photo for the upcoming release of their special mini-album, ‘The Special to KissMe‘.

As the title of the album indicates, this is an album specially prepared as a gift for their fans, KissMe.

The track “Te Amo” will be released on June 1 at midnight KST, while their mini-album comes out June 5 KST. “Te Amo”, which means “I love you” in Spanish, was composed by Nassun and Zenda Faketeri, and produced by Beatamin. Their title track “Believe” was composed and written by member AJ.

Super Junior’s Shindong shares his secret method of dating in public

Super Junior‘s Shindong shared his secret technique of how he dates his girlfriend in public.

During the May 17th broadcast of Mnet‘s ‘Beatles Code 2‘, U-KISS member Soohyun revealed that he had only been on dates in the car and has never gone to a movie theater with a girlfriend.

Hearing this, comedian Yoon Sang Moo suggested to the singer, “There is a method that can allow you to go on a date with your girlfriend to a movie theater. Just have her hold your bags and pretend as if she’s your stylist.”

MC Shindong agreed and remarked, “I’ve been using that method for the past three years. I even had my girlfriend carry all of my bags. Nobody asked whether or not she was my girlfriend.”

With their dating bans officially lifted, U-KISS’s Soohyun expresssed his desire of dating in public while holding hands and chatting at the coffee shop.

However, Shindong who is currently dating his non-celebrity girlfriend expanded on his dating experience saying, “After going public with my relationship, we’re unable to do those things more often due to the attention and amount of people staring. My girlfriend dislikes this and is uncomfortable when people view her as ‘Shindong’s girlfriend’. Before I went public with my relationship, I was the one that didn’t like dating in public, but now she’s the one that refuses to date outside.”

The emcees then questioned Shindong where the two go on dates to which he boldly reponded, “We meet at home. Is that weird?”

Hyorin explains why she previously selected Boom as a potential ‘We Got Married’ partner

On the May 17th episode of Mnet‘s ‘Beatles Code 2‘, SISTAR‘s Hyorin was asked why she had previously mentioned wanting to film ‘We Got Married‘ with Boom.

“I was filming an athletics championship, and Boom oppa happened to be the MC,” she said. “He asked what I wanted to do if I won first place, and I said I wanted to film ‘We Got Married’.”

“He also asked who I would want to partner with, but I couldn’t think of anyone so I just picked Boom oppa who was standing right next to me,” she explained.

Hearing this, U-KISS member Soohyun, who was also a guest on the program with Hyorin, then imitated Boom from his facial expressions to his mannerisms, causing laughter on set.

Kim Soohyun shows his ‘kingly’ heart behind the scenes of ‘Moon-Sun’

Actor Kim Soohyun‘s king-like concern recently created some buzz across the internet.

On March 6th, a photo of Kim Soohyun was uploaded on an online community bulletin along with the caption, “Kim Soohyun, a picture of him holding a reflector’.

In the revealed photo, Kim Soohyun transformed into a staff member as he was captured holding a reflector for a senior actor. Most actors leave the set to rest when their scenes are over; however, fans were impressed by Kim Soohyun’s dedication to help on set even when it wasn’t his turn to film.

Netizens commented, “A king is definitely different”, “I’m telling you, this is why I like him”, and “There is no escaping the Soohyun Syndrome”.

Kim Soohyun to make cameo in Dream High 2 as Samdong

Looks like a certain country-boy-turned singer will be making a comeback on ‘Dream High 2‘: it’s just been confirmed that Kim Soohyun will have a cameo role as Samdong from the original series!

Kim Soohyun will be making his appearance in the first episode of ‘Dream High 2′, which is scheduled to air on January 30th. He is expected to be the first of a series of top stars that will be making cameos later in the series.

As earlier reported, the cast of ‘Dream High 2′ is expected to feature a series of idols, including 2AM‘s Jinwoon, SISTAR‘s Hyorin, T-ara‘s Jiyeon, After School‘s Kahi and many more.

Samdong’s appearance in this episode will certainly give fans a sense of nostalgia. Who else do you anticipate to make a feature return in this drama?

U-KISS member Soohyun introduces his brother, Boom

U-KISS member Soohyun shared a photo taken with Entertainer Boom.

The singer shared the above photo via his official Twitter page on the 7th and wrote, “Hey everyone, this is my brother. Boom hyung is really good looking. Love you, hyung.”

In the photo, both Soohyun and Boom have their faces side by side, and the similar shape of their facial features gave them a similar overall appearance.

Soohyun evoked laughter from netizens as he introduced Boom as his good-looking older brother.

U-KISS’s Soohyun impresses by singing 3 songs live in spite of vocal cord nodule

On October 15th, U-KISS‘s Soohyun moved fans and impressed officials at the ‘2011 Asia Song Festival‘ by singing three songs live — a normative feat, to be sure, but Soohyun was diagnosed with a vocal cord nodule.

The boys returned to ‘Asia Song Festival’ as acknowledged Hallyu stars after winning their rookie award at the same festival two years ago. They demonstrated their global growth by greeting fans and press members in Korean, Japanese, and Mandarin-Chinese.

Soohyun stated, “I’ve been resting after being diagnosed with vocal cord nodule. Today, however, I’m willing to die on stage.” He went on to sing “Neverland“, “0330“, and “Manmanhani” in perfect unison with the rest of his members, impressing everyone at the event.

Dongho added, “At the ’5th Asia Song Festival’, we won the rookie award. Now that we’ve returned, I’m both excited and grateful. It’s an honor to be able to stand on stage with so many famous singers in Asia, and I hope to continue to participating in the festival until its 100th.”

Rookie girl group April Kiss, who also participated in the festival’s ‘Asia Rookie Singer Showcase’, had nothing but praise for their seniors. “We met them at a waiting room backstage and exchanged CDs. They treated us very comfortably. It was amazing to be able to see them so close during rehearsals. They truly amaze us, and we respect them a lot.”

They continued, “We heard that it’s been a few years since their debut and it’s very cool to see that they haven’t lost their roots and are still working so hard. Watching their rehearsals made us realize that we have so much to learn from them. They make us want to go back to our rehearsal room and practice more.”

U-KISS’s Soohyun talks Japanese promotions + updates on his vocal cord nodule

On October 14th, U-KISS‘s Soohyun attended the press conference for the ’2011 Asia Song Festival‘, where he revealed the plans for U-KISS’s Japanese promotions.

Soohyun said, ”We plan to officially begin Japanese promotions in January. We’ll aim to appeal with our friendly charms, and we hope that our Japanese fans will forward to it.”

He continued, “Truthfully, the fact that we are sharing the ‘Asia Song Festival’ stage with famous Japanese singers makes me nervous. We will show a good image as a representative artist of Korea.”

Soohyun also spoke about his condition after being diagnosed with a vocal cord nodule. ”I’m currently taking medicine diligently and I got an IV as well, so I am much better. I took a long break in order to participate in the ‘Asia Song Festival’. I will show a good image.”

U-KISS will be sharing the stage with Japan’s electropop trio Perfume and mixed dance groupAAA. China’s Zhou Bichang, Taiwan’s Peter Ho, Thailand’s Tata Young, and other famous singers will be joining them for the event as well.

The ’2011 Asia Song Festival will be opening on October 15th’ at the Daegu Stadium. Super Junior, SNSD, Lee Seung Gi, BEAST, G.NA, miss A, and U-KISS will be taking the stage as Korea’s representative artists.

U-KISS halts “Neverland” promotions due to Soohyun’s vocal cord nodule diagnosis

Earlier today, U-KISS announced that they’d be going into follow-up promotions with their next track, “Someday“. As it turns out, the group is abruptly halting their “Neverland” activities because of leader Soohyun being diagnosed with a vocal cord nodule.

U-KISS was originally scheduled to promote “Neverland” until the end of the month, but NH Media revealed on October 11th that they will be cutting it off early to let Soohyun rest.

As fans already know, Soohyun has quite a significant amount of high notes that are sung live throughout the song. For the past six months, he’s been training in singing and dancing at the same time for six hours a day.

Representatives stated, “The worst possible situation would be promoting their follow-up without Soohyun. Soohyun will be performing at the ‘Asia Song Festival‘ on October 15th because of how important it is, but we’ll make sure to lessen the strain on his vocals as much as possible.”

U-KISS’s Soohyun wants to date Han So Young

U-KISS‘s Soohyun chose Han So Young as the genuine girl he would like to date.

The September 29th broadcast of QTV‘s ‘Women Ranking Season 4‘, featured both single men and women while highlighting the topic, “Marriage No!, Who do you want to only date?”

Soo Hyun ranked Han So Young as his top choice in the woman he would like to date. Soohyun confessed, “Since she is young and has excellent fitness, I can play with her long into the night. I know her as a bagel girl so I want her to show it off when we date, which is why I chose her.”

Lee Hwi Jae responded, “When you date, she’s a bagel, but then when you marry her, she’s bread,” which caused much laughter in the studio.

For those that don’t know, a girl is referred to as “Bagel” when she has a baby face while also having a beautiful curvacious body.
