ZE:A’s Kwanghee’s real height revealed on ‘Strong Heart’

On the August 28th episode of SBS‘ ‘Strong Heart‘, ZE:A‘s Kwanghee‘s real height was measured.

After f(x)‘s Sulli, who also appeared on the show expressed her concern over her tall height and had her height measured to be right under 170 cm, Kwanghee was brought out to have his own height measured.

When asked what his height was listed as on his profile, Kwanghee stated that it was “175 cm (~5’9″)”. However, the MCs soon pointed out that it was not 175 but 179 cm (~ 5’10.5″), much to Kwanghee’s embarrassment. Kwanghee was first allowed to step on with his shoes to measure his height, and the measurement was revealed to be 180 cm ( ~5’11″).

However, the studio was brought to laughter when he was measured without his shoes for his height drastically dropped down to 173.6 cm (a bit over 5′ 8″)

Upon this surprising reveal, Kwanghee sulked as he exclaimed, “I don’t like ‘Strong Heart’”, and proceeded to walk back to his seat while carrying his shoes while the guests chuckled over his hilarious reactions.

f(x)’s Sulli gets her height measured on ‘Strong Heart’

On the August 28th episode of SBS‘ ‘Strong Heart‘, f(x)‘s Sulli dispelled claims that she was over 170 cm tall (5′ 7″).

Although it may seem like a rather frivolous issue to many, Sulli expressed that being tall actually causes her stress as she towers over many of her fellow female idols.

The idol decided to make it clear that she was in fact not over 170 cm by getting her height measured on the set of ‘Strong Heart’ in front of the audience and all the other guests. Her true height was revealed to be 169.8 cm, just .2 cm short of being 170 cm.

Sulli further explained on the show that she is envious of how small and adorable other female idols look, and how they look to be completely embraced in the arms of men. The other guests called out, “You just need to find a tall man”, with some even suggesting MMA fighter Choi Hong Man, who stands at 7’2″.

ZE:A’s Kwanghee would like his sister to marry fellow member Hyungsik

ZE:A member Kwanghee surprisingly revealed that he would like his sister to get married to fellow group member Hyungsik.

Kwanghee and Hyungsik both guest-featured on the August 28th broadcast of SBS TV‘s ‘Strong Heart‘, and Kwanghee did not hold back his praise for Hyungsik, saying he has the looks, the talent, manners, and even comes from a wealthy family.

“I have a younger sister, and I want to marry her off to Hyungsik,” Kwanghee said. “I think he will be a strong pillar for our family.”

He added, “I even thought up an extreme method of getting them together. If they say they don’t like each other, I will prepare a drinking setting for the three of us and get them completely intoxicated,” evoking laughter with his wicked plan.

When asked if he spoke to his sister about her thoughts on his plan, Kwanghee hilariously answered, “My sister has nothing to lose,” causing the audience to further explode into laughs.

Kwanghee also displayed interest in SHINee‘s Minho who he is currently featuring in ‘To The Beautiful You‘ with, saying, “Minho is also one of the potential candidates to become my sister’s husband!”

Actress Kim Ji Won reveals she was set up with SHINee’s Minho in the past

Actress Kim Ji Won, who is currently starring in the SBS drama ‘To the Beautiful You‘, revealed that in the past, she was set up with SHINee‘s Minho.

On the recent filming of SBS’ ‘Strong Heart‘, Kim Ji Won stated, “I’ve been on a blind date with Minho before. A director I knew told me, ‘There’s a good guy I know. I’ll introduce you to him,’ and called Minho over.”

Minho, who also appeared on ‘Strong Heart’, responded, “The director at the time kept telling me how pretty and how much of a catch Kim Ji Won is,” raising curiousity about the stars’ first meeting.

f(x)’s Sulli reveals her height causes her stress on ‘Strong Heart’

f(x)‘s Sulli revealed that her tall height has been causing her stress.

On the August 28th episode of SBS‘ ’Strong Heart‘, Sulli will open up about her height. She stated during filming, “Whenever I see people, they ask me if I grew taller again, and it really stresses me out. A lot of people say that I am over 170cm (6’7″), but I am not that tall.” Sulli then had her height measured to dispel rumors.

Sulli is known to be on the taller side in comparison to other female idols, earning the nickname “giant baby”.

As netizens heard the news that Sulli will get her height measured, they commented, “Sulli is getting her height measured? Actress Kim Jung Nan reveals she’s a fan of G-Dragon and Onew

On August 21st, actress Kim Jung Nan appeared as a guest on SBS‘s ‘Strong Heart‘ and revealed that she was a fan of Big Bang‘s G-Dragon and SHINee‘s Onew.

The segment kicked off with her talking about working with ‘Gentlemen’s Class‘ co-star CNBLUE‘s Jonghyun, where she praised, “I didn’t have any scenes where I worked with him in the drama, but I did hear him sing live and he was so smooth and great. He’s also very mannerly and kind.”

When asked by the MCs if she liked any other idol group members, she replied, “I like Big Bang’s G-Dragon and SHINee’s Onew. I told Jonghyun about liking Onew and he called him right on the spot.”

To the amusement of the studio, she added, “I was really excited but he unfortunately didn’t pick up the call so I never got to speak with him.”

Actress Kim Jung Nan of hit drama ‘Gentlemen’s Class‘ shed tears while discussing supportive netizen comments on the August 21st episode of SBS‘ ‘Strong Heart‘.

She shared, “‘Gentlemen’s Class’ has really become a hit. I gained popularity, and a lot of comments on my acting skills have changed as well.”

The actress she tears as she continued, “Tears were forming when I was reading through the comments. The most memorable comment was ‘I’ve watched many of Kim Jung Nan’s works. I was hoping that one day this actress will become successful, but I’m glad that she is getting more noticed now’. (When I read the comment) tears flowed down my face. I was only going about my way, but I realized that there were so many people who were supporting me. And I thought that I really shouldn’t take acting lightly.”

Kim Jung Nan went on, “I continued reading the comments, and someone said, ‘Kim Jung Nan is probably going to be crying while reading these,’ which made me cry even more,” as she wiped the tears off her face.

f(x)’s Sulli feels insecure about her uneven eyes?

f(x)‘s Sulli revealed one of the insecurities she has about her appearance on the August 21st broadcast of SBS’ ‘Strong Heart‘.

Sulli was asked, “Is there something about your appearance you feel insecure about?“, to which she replied, “Actually, my eyes are uneven. My left eye is smaller than my right eye. So when I laugh, fans think I’m winking, but in actuality, one of my eyes just closes.”

After hearing Sulli’s confession, SHINee‘s Minho added, “I feel that my chin keeps getting shorter, which makes me feel insecure,” causing the studio to explode in laughter. Actress Kim Ji Won also shared, “I’m insecure about my ears. They look like a donkey’s ears. They’re very sharp.”

ZE:A’s Kwanghee reveals past car accident with famous actor during date with idol girlfriend

On the upcoming episode of SBS‘ ‘Strong Heart‘, ZE:A‘s Kwanghee will reveal more details about an interesting situation he found himself in. Kwanghee confessed during filming that he once got in a car accident while on a date with his idol girl group member girlfriend at the Han river.

The singer revealed, “I got into a fender bender while on a date at the Han river to avoid the paparazzi. The other party [involved in the accident] was a top actor,” surprising everyone on set.

He raised the curiosity of everyone on set when he continued, “My girlfriend at the time was a girl group member everyone would know if her face was revealed.”

BeBe Mignon’s Haegeum reveals she received confessions from five male idols

On the most recent episode of ‘Strong Heart‘, BeBe Mignon‘s Haegeum revealed that she had received confessions from 5 idol stars.

When asked if anyone had expressed interest in her, she answered “yes” then further revealed that not just one, but five male idols had tried to woo her.

The singer continued, “There was one person the same age as me that I was interested in. However, there were rumors that he was known as a player in the entertainment industry so my friends persuaded me not to [act on my feelings]. They told me ‘Someone else I know came to me about the same issue a few days ago’.”

Go Na Eun and Leeteuk discuss the importance of resolving differences between team members

On August 14th, former Papaya member and actress Go Na Eun and Super Junior‘s Leeteuk shared some words of advice for their idol juniors on ’Strong Heart‘.

Papaya was a girl group that debuted in 2000, and Go Na Eun drew her experience from those days to comment, “I can honestly say now that the relationships between the members weren’t that great. I hope that my juniors will not just focus on the present, but rather continue to look ahead into the future. Don’t take the things you’ve been given now for granted, and promote with the future in mind.”

Leeteuk added, “Once a problem arises in the team, you have to make sure to resolve it within the team because once it gets out, misunderstandings develop. I hope that our juniors will work to have honest conversations with one another and resolve their problems positively.”

Solbi explains why she didn’t initially address sex video rumors on ‘Strong Heart’

Solbi revealed her thoughts on past sex video rumors on the July 24th broadcast of SBS‘ ’Strong Heart‘.

She stated, “I had a two-year hiatus. My image was cemented as a [girl who says what's on her mind], so there were many misunderstandings that gave me a hard time, and it was hard to deal with the fake Solbi video.”

A sex video of a woman who looked similar to Solbi was spread on the internet under the title “Solbi Video” in 2009.

Solbi went on, “Because the video was not real, I didn’t feel like explaining myself. I thought that these kinds of things are what celebrities have to deal with.”

Solbi openly talked about going under the knife and brought laughter on the latest episode of SBS ‘Strong Heart‘.

Super Junior‘s Kyuhyun, Shindong, Leeteuk, Eunhyuk, Solbi, f(x)‘s Victoria, After School‘s Jung Ah, Lizzy, and more guest-featured on the July 17th ‘Variety Olympics’ special of SBS ‘Strong Heart’.

It was here that Kyuhyun slightly teased Solbi by remarking, “[She] is becoming more and more beautiful. I am impressed with her ever-evolving beauty.”

MC Shin Dong Yup then chimed in to tease her, “We have to give her an award for her ability to save money. She saves, and saves and thus, is able to invest in more surgeries.” Solbi showed her good nature and her comedic side as she refuted, “It didn’t take that much money.”

Shin Dong Yup further asked, “Don’t you still feel great when people mention that you’ve gotten prettier?”, to which Solbi replied, “That’s why I got it done!”, causing the set to roar in laughter over her frank and honest confession.

Leeteuk announces he will marry the woman who waits for him to return from the military

Super Junior leader Leeteuk who is counting down the days to his military enlistment has made a shocking announcement.

On the July 10th episode of SBS TV‘s ‘Strong Heart‘, guest Yoo Yeon Suk shared a heartbreaking story of how his first love broke up with him right before he had to enter the military.

Hearing this, MC Lee Dong Wook then jokingly remarked, “Leeteuk, you need to wrap things up with your girlfriend too before you enlist.”

In response to the MC, Leeteuk said something that shocked everyone on set. “I’m being completely serious right now, but since I’m enlisting this year, I will 100% find a girlfriend before I leave.”

“If that girl waits for me for two years, I think she’s somebody that will wait for me for the rest of her life,” he said. “If I do end up beginning a relationship before I leave and she does wait for me, I will marry that girl within 5 years.”

Wonder Girls’ Yenny reveals she once got into an argument with Yubin

Wonder Girls‘ member Yenny shared a story about a time she fought with fellow member Yubin.

On the July 10th episode of SBS ‘Strong Heart‘, Yenny began, “When we receive songs by producer J.Y. Park, the members rehearse them really well. But when it comes to songs that I write, there are times the members don’t even really know the melody and it hurts my feelings.”

“The rap portion of a song I wrote was completed at the very end,” she continued. “So I personally worked on it- but it was hard because Yubin unni and I have very different styles when it comes to rapping.”

“We are both members of the group, and us trying to both play the role of the director inevitably caused some weird tension,” she added. “Sohee and Lim are younger than I am so they usually go with the flow, but there was some tension when it came to Sunye and Yubin.”

She continued, “When we began Yubin unni’s rap portion, the style was so different that we had to re-record several times. She even cut me off, so eventually I exploded and asked her to step outside.”

“While in conversation, Yubin unni began to cry and couldn’t even speak, so we had to postpone the recording session,” Yenny explained. “We recorded the portion the next day, and Yubin rehearsed it extremely well so we got it in one shot.”

Boom announces his comeback as a singer on ‘Strong Heart’!

On the July 3rd episode of SBS‘ ‘Strong Heart‘, Boom shared that he is preparing for a comeback as a singer.

The entertainer announced, “My album will be released in the second week of July. This will be Boom’s eighth challenge.” He added, “It has been decided that the song [I will be coming back with will be titled 'Play Hard'], as it will give energy to the weary people of the nation.”

To raise anticipation, Boom continued to reveal other artists who have helped him with his title song: “While Dynamic Duo‘s Gaeko wrote and composed the song, Baekdoosan‘s Yoon Hyun Sang recorded the guitar music.”

At this announcement, ‘Strong Heart’s host Shin Dong Yup jokingly replied, “Boom pursuing music is like me going into business.” His comment evoked laughter, as it is known that Shin Dong Yup was met with failure after entering the shoe production business.

Actor Yoo Yun Suk receives negative comments because of his ‘Introduction to Architecture’ role

Actor Yoo Yun Suk has had the unfortunate experience of being too closely associated with his own character, as he has been criticized for something he supposedly did in the movie ‘Introduction to Architecture’ with miss A‘s Suzy, who played his love interest.

On SBS‘s ‘Strong Heart’, Yoo Yun Suk brought up a part in his movie in which his character escorted Suzy’s drunken character back to her home. According to the actor, upon seeing the movie, many netizens criticized him for this particular scene.

Yoo Yun Suk explained, “It’s tougher the longer the movie runs. Many would wonder what had happened after [my character] helped Suzy’s drunken character home. All sorts of vicious comments were left.“ He continued, “It felt really unfair. I really didn’t do anything to Suzy.”

Wooyoung reveals his toned abs on ‘Strong Heart’

Shin Dong Yup of ‘Strong Heart‘ made a hilarious comment about Wooyoung‘s chiseled body.

2PM‘s Wooyoung recently gained spotlight when he showed off his upgraded body on the cover of ‘Men’s Health‘ magazine. Thus, it was no surprise that the guests on set demanded to see his abs in person. Wooyoung obliged to their requests and lifted his shirt, revealing his toned abs on the set, leaving the audience and other guests in awe as they commented, “His body is really nice.”

MC Shin Dong Yup also added, “It’s like I’m looking at Bruce Lee‘s lean muscles.” He then comically commented, “The chest muscles are a perfect size and even the areola,” while raising his hands to his chest gesturing around the area, causing the studio to laugh in shock.

When the audience started mumbling, Shin Dong Yup explained, “I mean even if a body is well made, if the nipples are too small, it’s not good to look at,” further digging himself into a hole as the audience continued to laugh at his observation.

Lee Dong Wook, the other MC, quickly wrapped up the conversation by saying, “Anyways, Wooyoung’s abs are really fantastic.”

Comedian Yoo Sae Yoon confirms rumor about his wealth

On SBS ‘Strong Heart‘, which aired on June 26th, comedian Jang Dong Min said, “There is a rumor about Yoo Sae Yoon being rich. The talk of the town is that his assets are worth a trillion won and he is a comedian as a hobby.” Yoo Sae Yoon then avoided the talks of his rumor by saying, “I’m not really greedy about becoming successful or rich.”

When Yoo Sae Yoon didn’t deny the rumors, Jang Dong Min said, “13 years ago, when I went over Yoo Sae Yoon’s house he was using 3 rooms himself. He had 4 beds in his master bedroom, 5 desks, and 2 bathrooms.”

Yoo Sae Yoon then finally agreed, “There was a time when I was well-off. I lived in a four-story house but we rented out the first and second floor while we lived on the third and fourth floor. And when I bought new desks, I didn’t throw out the old ones so I ended up having multiple desks.”
