BoA falls for ‘To the Beautiful You’

It looks like BoA has fallen for ’To the Beautiful You‘. She recently complimented SHINee‘s Minho and f(x)‘s Sulli on their acting in the SBS drama.

After watching the drama’s latest episode, BoA tweeted on the 5th, “Kyyaaaooo~~~ ‘To the Beautiful You’, this is subtly hilarious?! Minho is cool and Sulli is graceful!! This definitely has some charm?! Ah.. I want to go to high school too, ahhh T.T,” showing her support for her fellow SM Entertainment artists and the drama.

Fans and netizens also commented, “BoA has also fallen for ‘To the Beautiful You’,” “My heart skips a beat for Minho and Sulli’s love line,” and “This drama has charm.”

On the September 5th episode, Minho and Sulli were shown holding hands and hugging each other, which has added to the excitement of their characters’ growing ‘love line’.

LEDApple takes a friendly snapshot with f(x)’s Sulli and SHINee’s Minho

LEDApple recently took a friendly snapshot with f(x)‘s Sulli and SHINee‘s Minho.

The photos show the SBS drama ‘To the Beautiful You‘ castmates smiling at the camera and showing their friendship with each other. With the support and recommendation from Sulli and Minho, LEDApple were cast for cameo roles in the drama.

LEDApple’s Kwangyeon especially couldn’t contain his joy when he got the chance to work alongside Sulli, who is known to be his role model. Kwangyeon revealed, “Sulli, who is currently striving to be an actress, is my role model. Although it was nerve wracking to work with Sulli and Minho sunbaenim, it is also an honor. We would like to continue to act through a good production with our sunbaenims.”

Actress Kim Ji Won, who is currently starring in the SBS drama ‘To the Beautiful You‘, revealed that in the past, she was set up with SHINee‘s Minho.

On the recent filming of SBS’ ‘Strong Heart‘, Kim Ji Won stated, “I’ve been on a blind date with Minho before. A director I knew told me, ‘There’s a good guy I know. I’ll introduce you to him,’ and called Minho over.”

Minho, who also appeared on ‘Strong Heart’, responded, “The director at the time kept telling me how pretty and how much of a catch Kim Ji Won is,” raising curiousity about the stars’ first meeting.

[Spoiler]f(x)’s Sulli to sing IU’s “Peach” on ‘To the Beautiful You’

f(x)‘s Sulli will be shedding her boyish image on the upcoming episode of ‘To the Beautiful You‘ to sing IU‘s “Peach“.

Sulli’s character Jae Hee will rid herself of her disguise to perform at a festival. There’s a lot of anticipation about how Tae Joon, played by SHINee‘s Minho, will react, and viewers are hoping for a “love line” between the two.

It’s reported that when she heard that there would be a scene in which she sings on stage, Sulli suggested that she sing her best friend IU’s song. IU previously revealed that the lyrics of “Peach” were based on Sulli.

A representative from the drama stated, “Despite her harsh schedule, Sulli always has a bright smile on set and seems like she enjoys filming, so the staff and other actors get a lot of energy from her. As the drama goes on, cross-dressing Sulli’s crisis will become more intense. Look forward to how she’ll be able to [overcome the wall that's approaching].”

On the morning of August 24th, Sulli posted on her me2day, “It’s Jae Hee!!!” and shared the selca below. She later added, “Jae Hee gets married with Eun Gyul?” along with the photo above of herself and Lee Hyun Woo, who plays Eun Gyul in the SBS drama.

Sulli’s style transformation into the handsome Goo Jae Hee in ‘To the Beautiful You’ has really gotten the attention of viewers. Her tuxedo and short hairstyle in the photos are definitely leaving an impression as well.

[Spoiler] Minho discovers something about Sulli on ‘To The Beautiful You’

On August 23rd broadcast of SBS‘ ’To The Beautiful You‘, Kang Tae Joon (SHINee‘s Minho) tries to push away Goo Jae Hee (f(x)‘s Sulli) after finding out that she is a girl.

Earlier in the episode, Goo Jae Hee unexpectedly meets her half-brother Daniel (Julien Kang) in school. The two argued when Daniel found out that his half-sister Goo Jae Hee was attending an all-boys school, and Kang Tae Joon, overhearing their conversation, found out that Goo Jae Hee was in fact a girl.

In the end, Kang Tae Joon decided that he had to let Goo Jae Hee go, even though he realized he was starting to regain his confidence because of her. Kang Tae Joon told Goo Jae Hee, “I was just ignoring it until now but there is only one solution. I can’t share a room with you.” Even when Goo Jae Hee tried to persuade him, he didn’t budge and pushed back even harder, saying, “If you don’t like it, then I’ll move out.”

He went on to say, “Stop saying that you are going to make me jump again. I quit for good. I wasn’t thinking of doing it for long, and it’s time that I stop,” announcing his retirement. Kang Tae Joon then harshly concluded, “Please, just get out,” causing Goo Jae Hee to shed tears.

New Actor Lee Suh Joon from ‘To the Beautiful You’ captures hearts

A new face on SBS‘ ‘To the Beautiful You‘ is capturing hearts. Among the flower boy garden, new actor Lee Suh Joon has caught the eyes of viewers.

Recently on an online community, a user posted, “Who is the owner of the face that surpasses even the main actor’s?” along with screen captures from the show. ‘To the Beautiful You’ is the actor’s first drama, but his sharp features and acting skills are already being noticed.

J-Min to perform “Stand Up” from ‘To the Beautiful You’ OST on ‘Inkigayo’

SM Entertainment‘s female soloist J-Min will be holding a performance on this week’s ‘Inkigayo‘!

Having lent her voice for “Stand Up“, the main title theme song for SM and SBS‘s drama ‘To the Beautiful You‘, J-Min will now take to the stage to perform the track live.

The song has already garnered much attention from the viewers of the drama with its strong guitar and drum sounds, and it should be a treat to see J-Min perform it live, especially since Trax‘ Jungmo is planning on playing the guitar for the performance.

J-Min made her debut in Japan first back in 2007 and has performed during SMTOWN concerts as well as having participated in OSTs for dramas like ‘Moo Shin‘, ‘The King 2 Hearts‘, and more. She is also currently working as a musical actress in ‘Jack the Ripper‘.

Leeteuk reveals that Mighty Mouth’s Sangchu accidentally gave Sulli a bloody nose

Super Junior‘s Leeteuk shared a behind-the-scenes story about f(x)‘s Sulli on the set of ‘To the Beautiful You‘.

On the August 21st episode of SBS‘ ‘Strong Heart‘, Leeteuk said, “I heard about a behind-the-scenes story for ‘To the Beautiful You‘”. He continued, “Mighty Mouth‘s Sangchu made a cameo in the drama and he shot a scene in which he got into a fight with Sulli.”

Leeteuk explained that during one part when Sangchu was supposed to send out a punch with Sulli ducking out of the way, the two missed and Sanchu’s fist ended up making contact with Sulli’s nose. Although Sangchu had tried to loosen the power from his arm when he saw his fist about to make contact with her nose, it wasn’t enough for Sulli’s nose started bleeding from both nostrils.

However, Sulli showed her professionalism and determination to keep going. “It started to bruise up, so I just asked the staff to cover up the bruise and kept continuing on with the shoot,” she said, earning compliments from the guests on the show.

Actress Song Ji Soo has been attracting attention for her role as ‘Shin Myung Hwa’, Minho‘s personal sasaeng fan on SBS‘s new drama, ‘To the Beautiful You‘,

To commemorate the debut of SBS’ drama ‘To The Beautiful You‘ starring SHINee’s Minho, bandmate Jonghyun left a supportive message to support the idol’s drama via Twitter.

[SPOILER 'To The Beautiful You'] f(x)’s Sulli…

Sulli‘s cover got blown only one episode into the new series.

On the August 15th broadcast of SBS ‘To The Beautiful You‘, Kang Tae Joon (Minho) agrees to use the same room as Goo Jae Hee (Sulli) if she puts in at least one goal during a soccer game.

Goo Jae Hee ran with all her might to try and score a goal, but fell and hit her head after being shoved by Song Jong Min (Kwanghee).

The school’s doctor Jang Min Woo (Ki Tae Young) who took a closer look at her condition informed Tae Joon and Eun Kyul that Sulli’s character was breathing normally, and a concussion had caused her to temporarily pass out.

However when Sulli awoke, Jang Min Woo looked towards her and said, “Are you awake? You passed out during the game.”

Getting to the point, Min Woo then added, “But it’s strange. Why is there a female student at an all-male school?“, revealing that he knew the truth about Sulli’s identity, and adding further suspense to the story.

‘To the Beautiful You’ reveals still cuts of Sulli and Minho’s night time kiss

New still cuts of Sulli and Minho‘s night time kiss scene have been revealed for SBS‘s upcoming drama, ‘To the Beautiful You‘!

With less than 10 hours to go until the pilot broadcast airs, anticipation is running high among fans, and these new pictures will surely give them something to look forward to. The scene will be included in the drama’s second episode, and is described to capture the moment when Minho pushes Sulli against the wall and plants a surprise kiss on her lips.

Fans are probably curious about what it was like on the actual set, and producers revealed that the scene took about 15 times to perfect. Perhaps to the surprise of many, it was actually Minho that shyly turned red while Sulli showed complete focus during the scene.

Producers stated, “Sulli and Minho are showing perfect teamwork. As they’ve both been working together every single day, I feel like they’ve gotten closer. This drama will provide a heart fluttering romance that will make the hearts of our viewers beat.”

‘To the Beautiful You’ releases new still cuts of Sulli meeting Ki Tae Young

f(x)‘s Sulli and Ki Tae Young had a dramatic first meeting in the nurse’s office as revealed by the latest still cuts of SBS‘s upcoming drama, ‘To the Beautiful You‘.

Filmed on July 21st at a set in Gwangju, the scene depicts Sulli visiting the nurse’s office after fainting. Looking tired and completely out of it, it’s easy for anyone to see that living life as an undercover girl in an all boys’ high school isn’t as easy as it sounds. The school’s medical staff member, Ki Tae Young, is also seen thoroughly checking up on Sulli, perhaps suspicious and catching on to her secret. Sulli responds with a rigid stare, seemingly holding her breath.

This was actually the two’s first time acting together on set following their script reading session. Staff admitted that an awkwardness hung in the air because they both spared their words, but once they got used to each other throughout the filming, they showed exceptional teamwork and completed their takes with perfection.

Sulli actually charmed everyone with her cuteness when she actually fell asleep while pretending to doze off on the office bed due to her killer schedule. Upon realizing her mistake, she got up immediately and apologized for falling asleep. Sulli made up for it by staying wide awake and alert for the rest of the cuts, as well as completing the filming without anymore NGs.

The drama begins airing on August 15th!

‘To the Beautiful You’ releases couple posters of Sulli, Minho, and Lee Hyun Woo

SBS‘s upcoming drama ‘To the Beautiful You‘ has released two new couple posters!

There’s barely a week left until the pilot episode airs, and the drama’s already being chalked up to be one of the freshest love stories to hit the small screen in a while thanks to its all star cast of teen idols. The two new posters released today feature two different versions; one with Sulli posing with Minho and the other with Sulli posing with Lee Hyun Woo.

The poster is a depiction of the love triangle that will develop between the three castmates. Most noted is the difference in styles between the two leading male characters. While Minho looks reserved, Lee Hyun Woo shows a friendlier, more playful side in his gaze and the arm slung around her shoulder. Their poses give viewers a general clue about the dynamics of their relationships.

SHINee’s Minho cries in the rain for ‘To the Beautiful You’

SHINee’s Minho has completed a heartbreaking scene in the pouring rain for his upcoming SBS drama, ‘To the Beautiful You‘.

The scene depicted in the new still cuts are a part of the drama’s second episode, which is scheduled to broasdcast on August 16th. Filmed at Kwangju on July 11th, the scene took place at a cemetery and called for Minho to cry his heart out in an emotional scene that called for his absolute concentration and focus.

Minho stepped up to the plate, as staff noticed that he had been getting into character early by cutting down on the chatter and setting himself up for a heavy atmosphere in the rain. Despite it taking nearly three hours to complete, Minho once never stepped out of character and kept his emotions in check, earning the praise of staff.

The pilot episode of the drama will air on August 15th at 10 p.m.

Girl’s Day Yura joins the cast of ‘To the Beautiful You’

Girl’s Day‘s Yura will be making her first domestic drama debut through the highly anticipated project, ‘To the Beautiful You‘!

The member has taken to Twitter previously to hint at her upcoming appearance in the drama, and now the news has been officially announced by her agency. A representative revealed that Yura will be bringing laughs through her role of Lee Eun Young, who is a die-hard fan of Kang Tae Jun (played by Minho), the record-holder in the World Junior Athletic Championship for high jump.

Yura previously stated through twitter, “Filming for the drama is so fun and seems well suited for me… If more opportunities come my way, I would like to purse acting in addition to singing.”

Although this is her first drama appearance in Korea, this is not the singer’s first time acting for she has previously participated in the Chinese drama ‘Secret Angel‘ (featuring Jang Woo Hyuk and Kim So Eun), which aired through Sohu.com.
