Leeteuk reveals that Mighty Mouth’s Sangchu accidentally gave Sulli a bloody nose

Super Junior‘s Leeteuk shared a behind-the-scenes story about f(x)‘s Sulli on the set of ‘To the Beautiful You‘.

On the August 21st episode of SBS‘ ‘Strong Heart‘, Leeteuk said, “I heard about a behind-the-scenes story for ‘To the Beautiful You‘”. He continued, “Mighty Mouth‘s Sangchu made a cameo in the drama and he shot a scene in which he got into a fight with Sulli.”

Leeteuk explained that during one part when Sangchu was supposed to send out a punch with Sulli ducking out of the way, the two missed and Sanchu’s fist ended up making contact with Sulli’s nose. Although Sangchu had tried to loosen the power from his arm when he saw his fist about to make contact with her nose, it wasn’t enough for Sulli’s nose started bleeding from both nostrils.

However, Sulli showed her professionalism and determination to keep going. “It started to bruise up, so I just asked the staff to cover up the bruise and kept continuing on with the shoot,” she said, earning compliments from the guests on the show.

Mighty Mouth’s Sangchu is preparing to enlist in the Korean military

Mighty Mouth‘s Sangchu is preparing for his military enlistment.

A representative from Mighty Mouth’s agency informed Newsen on August 20th, “As Sangchu publicly revealed, he received notice to serve as a public worker, but he would like to enlist as an active-duty soldier. He will most likely be receiving his physical examination in early September.”

Ahead of this, Sangchu remarked at a showcase this May, “I suffered an injury and therefore was assigned to become a public service worker, however, I would like to enlist as an active-duty solider. I am almost done with my treatments, and I am planning on enlisting towards the end of this year.”

His agency rep added, “Because of his strong desire to enlist as an active soldier, Sangchu has taken good care of his health. We cannot predict the results of the examination, however, it looks as though he will be able to enlist for active duty.”

In related news, Sangchu is making a cameo appearance in SBS ‘To The Beautiful You‘.

f(x)’s Sulli gets embroiled in a bathroom action scene with Mighty Mouth’s Sangchu in ‘To the Beautiful You’

For her new SBS drama, ‘To the Beautiful You‘, f(x)‘s Sulli will be taking on an action scene in the bathroom against Mighty Mouth‘s Sangchu, who will be making a cameo appearance.

The plot follows Sulli’s journey at an all male high school to meet high jump gold medalist ‘Kang Taejun’. Each day brings about more and more surprises as she fights to survive as the only female student in the school, and her biggest problem yet arises when she’s called to a bathroom to face off against Sangchu, who will make a special cameo as a chiseled muscle man.

The reason for the face off is because Sulli accidentally pulled down Sangchu’s pants while blindly trying to grab for something to catch her fall. Angered, he calls her out for an action scene fans won’t want to miss!

At the actual recording, Sulli was said to have been shy and slightly embarrassed about filming in a men’s bathroom, which made everyone on set chuckle.

After School, Verbal Jint, and Son Dambi added to the line up for ‘Green Groove’ music festival

After School, Verbal Jint, and Son Dambi have been added to the line up for the music festival ‘Green Groove.’

A representative for the ‘Green Groove Festival’ stated on July 10th, “Popular group After School, Verbal Jint as well as Son Dambi have agreed to join the festival.  World star Akon and the Wonder Girls will perform their collaboration song, ‘Like Money‘ and with the addition of the three artists, there will be a lot of variety in the performances.”

After School recently came back with their new song ‘Flashback‘ which has been gaining popularity and shows off their power and sexiness on the stage.  Also, Son Dambi starred in the hit MBC drama ‘Light and Shadow‘ which just went off the air earlier this month and showed that she can be a successful actress as well.  She is preparing for her comeback to the music scene next month and will meet her fans first through her stage at ‘Green Groove.’

Hip Hop artist Verbal Jint has a hit song titled ‘Good Morning‘ featuring 10cm and the two teams will come together for a collaboration stage at the festival.

Also performing at the ‘Green Groove Festival’ will be electro live band Infected Mushroom and many foreign acts as well. Mighty Mouth, stars from Mnet’s ‘Voice Korea‘ Song Seung Yeon, Woo Hae Mi, Yoo Sung Eun, Ji Sae Hee, indie band Delispice, and many more popular groups will all be performing.

The ‘Green Groove Festival’ will take place on July 21st and 22nd in Choong Nam.

Kim Jong Kook eats at the speed of light after an intense work out

A photo of Kim Jong Kook eating at light speed was shared online, causing a great deal of laughter.

On June 15th, Mighty Mouth‘s Sangchu shared the photo below via his official Twitter page and wrote, “A sneaky photo of Kim Jong Kook eating duck and chicken after a work out! I’m posting this without portrait rights! I’m dead! But hyung, you look like you’re so hungry, you’re eating stolen food in secret. Why are you acting like this, you’re Sparta-Kook.”

Different from his capable and intimidating ‘Sparta-Kook’ image on ‘Running Man‘, a more casual Kim Jong Kook was captured eating his dinner at light speed. 

Netizens got a good laugh out of the photo and responded, “Must’ve been really hungry“, “He’s got a rather cute side to him“, and “It’s been so long since I’ve laughed this hard.”

Mighty Mouth‘s Sangchu has cleaned his room!

On the 16th, Sangchu tweeted, “I’ll clean up to this point for today. I have a lunch appointment at 12… Whew…”

The photo he attached showed a definite improvement from the messy state his room was in before. Member Shorry previously called Sangchu out in a tweet with the message: “I arrived at Sangchu hyung’s house. Is this a house or a trashcan? What will Noh Hong Chul say if he saw this room?”

Sangchu later added, “I spent the night cleaning my studio. I’ve been busy lately so that’s why my workroom was like that. I’m a really clean person. Ask my ex-girlfriends.”

SHINee’s Jonghyun thinks Mighty Mouth’s Sangchu resembles actor Gong Yoo?

Hip hop duo Mighty Mouth‘s Sangchu is receiving much attention for a recent tweet regarding actor Gong Yoo.

On June 13th, he tweeted, “Just now, SHINee‘s Jonghyun told me I look like Gong Yoo from ‘Big‘ #fact.”

Upon seeing his tweet, netizens commented, “I think Jonghyun is being too nice“, “Comparing Gong Yoo and Sangchu?“, and “Sangchu has his own unique style, but Gong Yoo is a god.”

Hallyu star Jang Geun Suk also tweeted in response saying, “You must be drunk”, causing followers to laugh.

Meanwhile, actor Gong Yoo is currently starring in KBS‘s ‘Big’ as a 30 year old doctor whose soul gets switched with that of an 18 year old.

G.NA wins K-Chart + Performances from June 8th’s ‘Music Bank’ special at Jeonju World Cup Stadium

KBS‘s ‘Music Bank’ is back with another fun and exciting show that was chock-full of amazing performances, this time returning with a special episode aired at Jeonju World Cup Stadium!

The MCs for tonight’s episode were After School‘s UEE and actor Lee Jang Woo.

Aside from the usual stages on tonight’s episode, U-KISS made their return with a track off their special album, “Believe“.

Girl group Dal Shabet also held their comeback stage with their catchy tune titled “Mr. Bang Bang“, while the world famous Wonder Girls returned with “Like This“.

Lastly, rookie singer Juniel made an outstanding debut with her title track “Illa Illa“.

As for the winners, G.NA faced off against INFINITE for this week’s ‘K-Chart’, but in the end, it was G.NA who clinched the ‘K-Chart’ win with “2HOT“.

Mighty Mouth&#8217;s Shorry J looks tiny next to Choi Hong Man

A hilarious photo of Mighty Mouth‘s Shorry J and Choi Hong Man at Comedian Jung Jun Ha‘s wedding is becoming a hot topic.

On the 20th, Mighty Mouth member Sangchu shared on his Twitter, “Jun Ha Hyung’s wedding ceremony! Shorry J and Hong Man hyung! Let’s hope Shorry J grows a lot!”

Netizens could not help but focus on the height difference between to the two stars. According to their official profiles, Choi Hong Man stands at 217 cm (~7’1″) and Shorry J is 168 cm (~5’5″). Standing next to the giant Choi Hong Man, Shorry J looked shorter than his normal height.

Followers responded, “Rather than the height difference, the difference in their face sizes is even more amazing,” “Giant and dwarf concept,” and “Shorry J’s height embarrassment.”

Mighty Mouth&#8217;s Shorry J promises fans to grow his hair long if new single &#8220;Bad Boy&#8221; doesn&#8217;t succeed

Hip Hop duo Mighty Mouth held their showcase for the digital release of their new single, “Bad Boy“, at the Holic Club in Seoul on the 10th.

Mighty Mouth’s Sangchu stated, “Although the title of the single, “Bad Boy”, might appear to sound dark and strong, it is actually a bright and cheerful song like the usual style of Mighty Mouth. We actually recorded this song last October, but its release was pushed back, which made fellow member Shorry J say, ‘If this song doesn’t do well, I will hold a grudge for a long time. We have to succeed.’”

The comedian MCs for the showcase, Yang Bae Chu and Nam Chang Hee asked Mighty Mouth, “What will you do if the song doesn’t do well?” to which Shorry J responded, “If the song doesn’t do well, then I will grow out my hair.”

He went on, “Kim Jong Kook’s cousin, Soya, featured in “Bad Boy”, and it really is a refreshingly good song. We would love to reach #1.”

“Bad Boy” tells a love story about a guy who seems to be a playboy and steals a girl’s heart. Its catchy melody, fun groove, and Mighty Girl Soya’s featuring have all raised the interest of fans.

Mighty Mouth completed a successful live online broadcast of their showcase on Mnet.com, and plan to continue to actively promote their new single.

Mighty Mouth snaps photo with Hollywood actress Jessica Alba

Mighty Mouth ran into Hollywood star Jessica Alba, who recently paid a visit to South Korea.

On April 24th, Mighty Mouth’s Sangchu left a tweet that read, “Mighty Mouth With Jessica Alba!! what a gr8 time! Goddess Alba with double M! having fun,” and uploaded a photo he and Shorry took with the star. The lucky duo is seen posing closely for the camera with Jessica, who was friendly enough to put her arms around them.

Upon seeing his tweet, 2PM‘s Taecyeon expressed his jealousy by replying, “Hyung… I’m jealous.”

Jessica Alba and her family flew to the country on April 21st after their visit to Japan. It has also been reported that the Hollywood actress had reserved a table at Club Octagon in Gangnam upon her arrival.
