Super Junior’s Shindong, Donghae, Kangin, and Leeteuk look chic in classic suits

Super Junior‘s Donghae revealed a group picture he took with Shindong, Kangin, and Leeteuk.

On August 7th, Donghae tweeted, “World ELF!! Good Night!! Oyaseumi Nasai!! Wan an!! Sleep Well!!” and shared the group picture above.

The picture depicted Donghae and Kangin looking handsome in their suit and bow ties in between Shindong and Leeteuk who looked quite chic in their black jackets. The four Super Junior members all looked like real classy gentlemen in their slick suits.

After viewing the picture, the netizens complimented the stars’ good looks by commenting, “Gentlemen who hold and shake the heart of women“, “Really showing their handsome charms“, and “Really handsome. Handsome men that look like sculptures.”

Meanwhile, Super Junior will reveal their first performance of their new song “SPY” on August 9th.

Super Junior’s Kangin heads to Japan alone due to musical rehearsals

Super Junior‘s Kangin recently traveled to Japan alone, without the rest of his members.

The singer wrote via his Twitter page on August 3rd, “Leaving for Japan in a few, it’s been a while. The others have already left, but I had musical rehearsal so I’m leaving now. I’ll see you soon.”

The rest of the Super Junior members left a day ahead of Kangin for ‘SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR III‘, but as Kangin stated, he stayed behind an extra day to rehearse for his new musical, ‘Goong‘.

Kangin has been cast as Prince Lee Shin for the musical, and he will be performing in Japan starting this September.

Meanwhile, ‘SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR III’ will be held in Tokyo Dome in Japan on August 4th and 5th.

Have the stars been plagued with a ‘We Got Married’ curse?

The recent string of bad luck that some of today’s top celebrities have had are causing fans to question if it has anything to do with what they suspect to be a ‘We Got Married‘ curse.

Not only has T-ara been swept up in their own controversy, 2PM‘s Nichkhun and Clazziquai‘s Alex have recently been booked for driving under the influence. Additionally, in the past, Super Junior‘s Kangin, Crown J, and SG Wanabee‘s Kim Yong Jun have also all been involved in unfortunate situations.

Girl group T-ara has been plagued with what seems to be the worst bullying scandal in the history of K-Pop, and following Hwayoung‘s leave, former fans are petitioning that Eunjung be removed from dramas, advertisements, as well as MBC’s ‘We Got Married’.

2PM’s Nichkhun who was coupled with f(x)‘s Victoria on the show has also recently been involved in an unfortunate accident after having a few beers before getting behind the wheel. His alcohol level was measured at 0.056% and the 2PM member has currently put a halt to his activities. Ahead of his accident, Clazziquai’s Alex who was coupled with actress Shin Ae on ‘We Got Married’ was also booked for driving under the influence.

Super Junior’s Kangin previously paired with actress Lee Yoon Ji on the show also caused much social upheaval as a result of his drunk driving and bar fight, and Crown J who was coupled with singer Seo In Young was charged for possession of marijuana, then later charged for assault on his former manager.

And Kim Yong Jun who is currently serving in the Korean military as a public service worker draw major interest after featuring on ‘We Got Married’ with his actual girlfriend Hwang Jung Eum, but later received 80 hours of community service and was put on probation.

Furthermore, previous ‘We Got Married’ host Go Young Wook has also had his share of legal troubles.

Super Junior’s Ryeowook shares unreleased ‘Star Life Theater’ photo

Super Junior‘s Ryeowook tweeted on the 25th: “Unreleased photo from ‘Star Life Theater‘ with Super Junior’s Shindong, Ryeowook, Eunhyuk, and Kangin ^^,” along with the sparkling photo of the members above.

The members’ cute expressions as they huddled around cakes were captured during the KBS2 documentary program’s filming.

Fans commented, “I enjoyed watching your ‘Star Life Theater’ special,” and “Your expressions are adorable.”

Super Junior’s Kangin confirmed for ‘Goong’ musical

After the news of Super Junior‘s Kangin considering a role in the musical ‘Goong‘, SM Entertainment has announced that the member is now confirmed to participate.

On July 19th, officials revealed, “Kangin has been cast as the role of ‘Lee Shin’ in the musical ‘Goong’, which will begin in Japan this September. His casting was just recently confirmed, and he’s already participated in a number of rehearsals.”

They continued, “Kangin has experience as the leading role in the 2008 musical ‘Xanadu‘. He’s a talented guy so we believe that he’ll do well in ‘Goong’ as well.”

On rumors of him being cast in the musical ‘Late-Night Diner‘, they replied, “It’s true that he received a casting offer from the musical, but we haven’t progressed from there yet.”

Kangin is excited for Super Junior’s comeback

Super Junior‘s Kangin expressed his excitement about the group’s comeback.

Kangin posted to Twitter on the 4th, “Finally tomorrow. I missed it terribly. Everyone’s coming tomorrow, right? I want to hurry up and see you. Let’s meet already.”

Super Junior’s 6th album ‘Sexy, Free & Single‘ hit stores today, and the group will have their debut performance of the title track of the same name on tomorrow’s ‘M! Countdown‘.

Fans commented, “I’ve waited a long time,” “Finally Super Junior’s comeback! I’m so looking forward to it,” and “Us fans are waiting impatiently to see you.”

Kangin enlisted for mandatory military service in July of 2010 and was discharged this past April.

Super Junior releases teaser for Kangin and Sungmin

Following the release of beautiful teasers for Yesung, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Leeteuk, Ryeowook, and Donghae, the popular boy group Super Junior has released the teaser images for Kangin and Sungmin.

In line with the other teaser images, the two men have taken a 180-degree spin around from their former “ubersexual” concept and it looks like they will have another hit on their hands!

Super Junior’s newest album, “Sexy, Free & Single“, is purported to have a “beautiful males” concept and will be released on July 1st online, followed by an offline release on July 4th.

Kangin finds Bbem from ‘Global Super Idol’ cute

Super Junior member Kangin complimented Thai ‘Global Super Idol‘ contestant Bbem.

Kangin tweeted on June 21st KST, “‘Global Super Idol’ is very entertaining these days. There is a girl on the show named Bbem who’s really cute. Fighting to all the contestants!”

‘Global Super Idol’ is an idol audition program airing on KBS N. Bbem went through an intense competition and was able to make it to the ‘Global Camp’ as one of the six remaining participants from Thailand.

From the first dance practice, she showed her talent by performing a sexy dance that got the attention of all the male contestants.

A staff member on the program stated, “In Bbem’s case, she’s a lot prettier in person than on camera. She’s like a goddess.”

The show has now moved onto the Global Camp stage with 27 contestants from South Korea, China, and Thailand remaining.

Kangin to make his comeback with Super Junior’s 6th album next month

Kangin has been revealed to be joining Super Junior for their comeback, which will reportedly be taking place next month!

According to information released by a few industry officials, Super Junior will be making their comeback early next month with their sixth album. Not only is it their first comeback in 11 months since their ‘Mr. Simple‘ release, but this album will also be including the return of Kangin.

On June 19th, SM Entertainment revealed to multiple Korean media outlets, “Kangin will be participating as a member of Super Junior starting from their 6th album, which will be released early July,” and “He is currently practicing hard with the upcoming comeback.”

Super Junior has an impressive track record with their fifth album alone, selling over 500,00 units according to Gaon Chart and topping every digital chart available. As such, expectations for their comeback this year remain high, and many are anticipating how hot they’ll burn up the summer with their upcoming hits.

One official stated, “Super Junior has nearly completed the production of their new album. They are done with the album jacket photoshoot.”

Another revealed, “Starting from the end of this month to the middle of next month, SISTAR, Super Junior, and 2NE1 will be making back to back comebacks. We’re looking ahead to a lot of competition.”

This will mark Kangin’s first comeback to the stage in two years and nine months since his hiatus for the army. Although he’s been rumored for the musical ‘Goong‘, Kangin will be prioritizing his main career as a singer first.

Super Junior’s Kangin reveals his meager diet meals

Super Junior‘s Kangin revealed what he’s been eating lately.

On June 13th, Kangin shared the photo above on Twitter and tweeted, “My gaze is strong, right? Do you feel anything?”

The idol was last seen in amazing physical shape after his discharge from the military back in April. Now, only two months later, he looks even slimmer.

Kangin also shared a photo of his half-eaten lunch the same day with the message: “Ugh diet chicken salmon.”

Fans who noticed the singer’s sharper V-line gave words of encouragement, commenting, “I would be so miserable eating only chicken breast and salmon,” “Maybe I should follow Kangin’s meal plan too,” and “Wow, his chin line is sharp.”

Super Junior’s Kangin to make his comeback through the musical “Goong”?

There have been recent reports stating that Super Junior‘s Kangin will be making his comeback into the entertainment industry with the lead role in the musical ‘Goong‘.

On June 11th, a spokesperson from SM stated, “It is true that Kangin was offered the lead role for the musical ‘Goong’, however this matter is still under review and no confirmation has been made.”

Under the assumption that Kangin is confirmed to star in ‘Goong’, it will mark his comeback to the entertainment industry after three long years. Kangin enlisted into the army in 2010 to complete his mandatory military service and was discharged this year in April.

Additionally, ‘Goong’ was a popular drama series released by MBC in 2006 with a spin-off series ‘Goong S‘ released in 2007.  ’Goong’ is a story about young lovers living in a fictional modern-day Korea ruled by monarchy.
