Have the stars been plagued with a ‘We Got Married’ curse?

The recent string of bad luck that some of today’s top celebrities have had are causing fans to question if it has anything to do with what they suspect to be a ‘We Got Married‘ curse.

Not only has T-ara been swept up in their own controversy, 2PM‘s Nichkhun and Clazziquai‘s Alex have recently been booked for driving under the influence. Additionally, in the past, Super Junior‘s Kangin, Crown J, and SG Wanabee‘s Kim Yong Jun have also all been involved in unfortunate situations.

Girl group T-ara has been plagued with what seems to be the worst bullying scandal in the history of K-Pop, and following Hwayoung‘s leave, former fans are petitioning that Eunjung be removed from dramas, advertisements, as well as MBC’s ‘We Got Married’.

2PM’s Nichkhun who was coupled with f(x)‘s Victoria on the show has also recently been involved in an unfortunate accident after having a few beers before getting behind the wheel. His alcohol level was measured at 0.056% and the 2PM member has currently put a halt to his activities. Ahead of his accident, Clazziquai’s Alex who was coupled with actress Shin Ae on ‘We Got Married’ was also booked for driving under the influence.

Super Junior’s Kangin previously paired with actress Lee Yoon Ji on the show also caused much social upheaval as a result of his drunk driving and bar fight, and Crown J who was coupled with singer Seo In Young was charged for possession of marijuana, then later charged for assault on his former manager.

And Kim Yong Jun who is currently serving in the Korean military as a public service worker draw major interest after featuring on ‘We Got Married’ with his actual girlfriend Hwang Jung Eum, but later received 80 hours of community service and was put on probation.

Furthermore, previous ‘We Got Married’ host Go Young Wook has also had his share of legal troubles.

Clazziquai’s Horan is scared of her wig?

Clazziquai member Horan‘s dramatic change in hairstyle is garnering interest from her fans.

On July 27th, Horan posted on her me2day, “She, who could not resist the urge to cut her hair short, finally..” along with the picture above (top).

The singer can be seen with a noticeably shorter bob in a dark shade. However, soon after, she posted another photo (bottom) reassuring her fans that it was just a wig.

She added, “The long hair is safe,” and, “It’s always so scary to look at the wig by itself.”

Fans commented, “Horan unni looks good with short hair too,” “I thought you cut your hair,” and “The picture is quite chilling.”

Alex booked for drunk driving

Singer Alex has been revealed to have been booked for driving under the influence of alcohol.

On July 18th, Kangnam police revealed that Alex was booked without detention after they had received a report that Alex was driving drunk upon returning home from meeting his friends for drinks at Samsungdong in Gangnam.

Alex is said to have recorded 0.134% in blood alcohol content and traveled about 2 km while under the influence, and thus, may result in his license being revoked.

Police sent Alex home and revealed they will start the additional investigation within the week.

Clazziquai’s Horan reveals she is in a relationship

Clazziquai‘s Horan has admitted that she is currently in a relationship!

A FLUXUS Entertainment representative revealed, “Horan has been in a relationship for the past month. Because Horan’s personality is normally carefree, she didn’t have any hesitation”, explaining Horan’s stance on going public with her relationship.

Horan and her boyfriend have known each other for ten years and have previously dated and broken up. But after reuniting after a long time, the two decided to date again recently.

“Because they’ve only been dating for a month, it’s too soon to talk about marriage. They are dating well so please give them your support.”

In other news, Clazziquai is currently preparing for their new album.

Clazziquai’s Alex and Horan reunite for “Blooming Flowers” OST

Clazziquai‘s Alex and Horan have teamed up for the first time in three years to sing “Blooming Flowers“, an OST song for So Ji Sub and Han Hyo Joo‘s movie, ‘Only You‘.

Their reunion was made possible by movie director Song Il Gon. The two made special cameos for a concert scene in the movie, and decided to go ahead and sing a song for the OST as well. “Blooming Flowers” is the work of music director Bang Jun Suk, and features the sounds of romantic strings as well as an acoustic guitar.

Horan is currently working with acoustic band Ibadi while Alex is expanding his career as an actor through SBS‘s new drama, ‘A Thousand Days’ Promise‘.

Alex to hold his 2nd solo concert in November

Clazziquai‘s Alex has just announced that he’ll be holding his second solo concert in November.

His agency, Fluxus Music, released a short statement on September 28th, saying, “Alex will hold his second solo concert, titled ‘A Story yet to be told’, on November 5th at Yonsei University.”

This new concert is his first in three years, and will end his promotions for his second album, “Just Like Me“, which was released back in June this year.

Commenting on his concept for this tour, Alex said, “Everything from the stage concept to the selection of songs was prepared with fluttering emotions, just like when a man is about to confess his feelings to a woman he loves.”

Alex is currently preparing for his upcoming concert amidst his MC duties on MTV’s ‘The Stage’.
