Despite sweeping the online music charts with her new song “ANYMORE“, Seo In Young will not actually be performing the song on broadcast television.

The singer’s representatives informed OSEN on August 21st, “Seo In Young is planning on refraining from performing her new song “ANYMORE” on broadcast television. After establishing her own company, she has become a lot more cautious with everything she does. For this new song, Seo In Young has shed her classic image and is looking to appeal with her vocal talent.”

Ahead of this, Seo In Young parted ways with her long-time agency Star Empire and established her own private company. “ANYMORE” was the first track she has released since, and it earned an explosive response from the public, achieving an all-kill on major music sites.

The rep continued, “Seo In Young is looking to toss aside her lavish performer image and show her fans a new side of herself by putting more emphasis on her vocal talent. She will be standing before the public once again next month with another new song.”

Meanwhile, Seo In Young is also serving as a host on SBS E! ‘Star Beauty Show‘.

Seo In Young makes a successful debut as an MC for ‘Star Beauty Show’

On the 13th KST, singer Seo In Young made a successful debut as an MC on SBS‘ ‘Star Beauty Show‘, impressing viewers by sharing her honest opinions and personal beauty tips.

For the first episode, Seo In Young revealed her personal dressing room and ‘bare’ face, showing her effort to help viewers with their beauty routines.

After the airing of the episode, Seo In Young shared on her Twitter, “Have you all watched ‘Star Beauty Show’ yet? Although I wasn’t perfect because it was my first time, I will work hard to share better [beauty] advice in the future.”

Seo In Young aiming to make a comeback at the end of this month

Singer Seo In Young will finally be making a comeback!

According to industry officials on August 10th, Seo In Young will be releasing a new digital single at the end of this month. This will be her first comeback since she went solo and set up her own entertainment agency back in May. A representative revealed, “Her goal is to have it released by the end of August. Whether she will promote it on music programs or not still hasn’t been decided. It will be a dance track that shows a different image than previously shown.”

Ahead of her comeback, an online community board posted two new photos of her ‘cola bottle body’ that hinted at an upcoming comeback.

In February, her contract with her previous agency Star Empire had expired so she had set up a new company with her father as the CEO and promoted as the sole artist of the company since then.

Seo In Young was also recently selected as the main MC of SBS E!‘s ‘Star Beauty Show‘, which is scheduled to begin airing on August 13th.

Have the stars been plagued with a ‘We Got Married’ curse?

The recent string of bad luck that some of today’s top celebrities have had are causing fans to question if it has anything to do with what they suspect to be a ‘We Got Married‘ curse.

Not only has T-ara been swept up in their own controversy, 2PM‘s Nichkhun and Clazziquai‘s Alex have recently been booked for driving under the influence. Additionally, in the past, Super Junior‘s Kangin, Crown J, and SG Wanabee‘s Kim Yong Jun have also all been involved in unfortunate situations.

Girl group T-ara has been plagued with what seems to be the worst bullying scandal in the history of K-Pop, and following Hwayoung‘s leave, former fans are petitioning that Eunjung be removed from dramas, advertisements, as well as MBC’s ‘We Got Married’.

2PM’s Nichkhun who was coupled with f(x)‘s Victoria on the show has also recently been involved in an unfortunate accident after having a few beers before getting behind the wheel. His alcohol level was measured at 0.056% and the 2PM member has currently put a halt to his activities. Ahead of his accident, Clazziquai’s Alex who was coupled with actress Shin Ae on ‘We Got Married’ was also booked for driving under the influence.

Super Junior’s Kangin previously paired with actress Lee Yoon Ji on the show also caused much social upheaval as a result of his drunk driving and bar fight, and Crown J who was coupled with singer Seo In Young was charged for possession of marijuana, then later charged for assault on his former manager.

And Kim Yong Jun who is currently serving in the Korean military as a public service worker draw major interest after featuring on ‘We Got Married’ with his actual girlfriend Hwang Jung Eum, but later received 80 hours of community service and was put on probation.

Furthermore, previous ‘We Got Married’ host Go Young Wook has also had his share of legal troubles.

We Got Married’s ‘Ant Couple’ reunites for the first time in 3 years at Crown J’s showcase

The ‘Ant Couple‘ from season one of MBC’s hit variety show, ‘We Got Married‘, has reunited for the first time in three years and five months!

On June 10th, Crown J held his comeback showcase at the Phantom Club in Shinsa-dong. Singer Seo In Young made a special visit and showed that she didn’t care what others thought by confidently showing her support for her former virtual husband.

She made a stop at his waiting room before he headed up on stage to give him some encouraging words and stayed behind after the showcase was over, talking with Crown J and mingling with other guests.

Crown J proved that his hiatus away from the music scene made no difference to his passion for his craft, performing new songs that he’ll be releasing starting this month.

One female fan excitedly commented, “He’s the return of traditional hip-hop. I was really happy to be able to listen to his songs today. I could feel his passion after overcoming obstacles. He showed that he hasn’t died out yet.”

Crown J expressed, “I know that there are people out there that view me a certain way, but I fortunately also had people that missed my music, which was a great source of strength for me. I’ll return the favor by starting right back from the bottom up. The only path for me is music.”

Seo In Young establishes private entertainment company

Singer Seo In Young has established an independent entertainment company called the Seo In Young Company, starting a new independent journey.

On May 18th, Seo In Young’s former agency Star Empire stated, “Seo In Young has decided to start her own entertainment company and leave Star Empire. Her contract expired in the beginning of the year, and she has been thinking carefully whether or not to stay. We respect the decision she has made for herself.”

Thus, Seo In Young will no longer be a part of Star Empire, and instead start fresh with the ‘Seo In Young Company’ where her father will take the position of CEO.

The singer, who debuted in 2002 as a member of Jewelry, released a solo album ‘Elly is So Hot‘ in 2007, which was praised by the general public for Seo In Young’s strong musicality. After officially leaving Jewelry, Seo In Young has been occupied with solo activities, and has gained immense popularity through her unique sense of fashion and music.

Jewelry to make a comeback this summer with new dance track

Four member girl group Jewelry is preparing for a summer comeback.

Jewelry is aiming to make a comeback this July with a new album filled with exciting dance tracks. The release of this new album comes a year after they released ‘PASS‘ last June, and the girls are ready to leave a lasting impression on music fans everywhere.

The group’s agency Star Empire Entertainment informed StarNews on May 15th, “Jewelry is finishing up their new album with hit producing team, Double Side Kick. They will return with a new concept that is both bubbly and sexy.”

The latest addition of members Semi and Yewon completely changed the team’s atmosphere, and the girls are now determined to properly showcase their musical talents.

Ahead of their comeback, Jewelry will also perform on the same stage with labelmates ZE:A and Nine Muses for a family concert in China. This will be Star Empire’s first family concert since being established 12 years ago.

Star Empire Entertainment has highly influenced the music industry for over 10 years now, but this is the first year they will work on expanding their promotions overseas, hence the large-scale concert. Jewelry ventured into Japan during the first half of 2000 before the K-Pop phenomenon began, but this is the first year that the new members will be meeting with their international fans.

Once their family concert comes to an end, Jewelry as well as the rest of the Star Empire artists have plans to embark on an Asia Tour, making stops in Korea, Japan, and more.
