Nine Muses’ Eunji bursts into tears on ‘Music and Lyrics’?

During the filming for this week’s episode of ‘Music and Lyrics – Season 2‘, Nine Muses‘ Eunji burst into tears and left the set unexpectedly.

Nine Muses and Kim Jong Min traveled together in order to get to know each other better and gain inspiration for the song they would have to create. In order to make the situation more fun, Kim Jong Min had also invited other male celebrities, creating a positive atmosphere on the set as well as some love lines.

Afterwards the girls and Kim Jong Min presented their song to Tak Jae Hoon to have it examined. In the midst of the examination Eunji is said to have burst into tears due to Kim Jong Min’s attitude and left the set, thus interrupting the on-going filming for a short while.

The full story behind Eunji’s tears will be revealed on the upcoming broadcast on August 25th.

Stars to peform at the ’2012 Uljin Music Farm Festival’

A number of South Korea’s top idol groups and musicians will holding an outdoor performance at the ‘2012 Uljin Music Farm Festival‘.

Organized by the Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., the Uljin Music Farm Festival will be kicking off its 6th year on August 4th and will last for two days at the Uljin Expo Park in Gangwon-do, Seoul.

Hosted by Koyote‘s Shinji, the first day of the festival will feature Brown Eyed Girls, Nine Muses, Girl’s Day, Heo Young Saeng, Dal Shabet, Younha, Harisu, Dalmatian, and Baechigi.

The line-up for the second day includes Song Dae Kwan, Kim Soo Hee, Kim Bum Ryung, Sung Jin Woo, Kim Yong Im, and Kim Yang as host.

Nine Muses’ Woongjin Play City CF released

Jewelry to make a comeback this summer with new dance track

Four member girl group Jewelry is preparing for a summer comeback.

Jewelry is aiming to make a comeback this July with a new album filled with exciting dance tracks. The release of this new album comes a year after they released ‘PASS‘ last June, and the girls are ready to leave a lasting impression on music fans everywhere.

The group’s agency Star Empire Entertainment informed StarNews on May 15th, “Jewelry is finishing up their new album with hit producing team, Double Side Kick. They will return with a new concept that is both bubbly and sexy.”

The latest addition of members Semi and Yewon completely changed the team’s atmosphere, and the girls are now determined to properly showcase their musical talents.

Ahead of their comeback, Jewelry will also perform on the same stage with labelmates ZE:A and Nine Muses for a family concert in China. This will be Star Empire’s first family concert since being established 12 years ago.

Star Empire Entertainment has highly influenced the music industry for over 10 years now, but this is the first year they will work on expanding their promotions overseas, hence the large-scale concert. Jewelry ventured into Japan during the first half of 2000 before the K-Pop phenomenon began, but this is the first year that the new members will be meeting with their international fans.

Once their family concert comes to an end, Jewelry as well as the rest of the Star Empire artists have plans to embark on an Asia Tour, making stops in Korea, Japan, and more.

Nine Muses member Hyemi shares an angelic selca before heading to concert

Nine Muses member Hyemi shared a gorgeous selca on Twitter, captivating fans with her angelic look.

On May 6th, the idol shared the above photo and tweeted, “Hello everyone kekeke heehee. Happy Sunday! But they say our schedule is in….. Pyeongtaek! The show starts at 5pm? ㅇㅅㅇ kekeke. Uploading yesterday’s [selca photo] today, pretending I took it today!”

Though it was a Sunday, it seemed as though the idol had her hands completely full with different scheduled activities. Despite her busy schedule, Hyemi looked breathtaking as always, her skin flawless and her natural beauty glowing.

Fans wished her a successful concert as they posted, “Pyeongtaek is my hometown!  Come back safely,” “Please upload another selca for today,” and “Noona Jjang!”

Netizens update the ranking of girl groups; see who rose and fell this month

Back in February, a netizen created a ranking of girl groups and posted it on a community board, attracting much hot attention from fans. With many girl groups making comebacks recently in the past three months, netizens were at it again by creating an updated ranking of girl groups. With some girl groups achieving a hit with their recent comeback, they were able to move up in ranking, while others fell back due to unsuccessful comebacks. Girls’ Generation and 2NE1 still retained their positions as the queens of K-Pop by remaining at the ”insurmountable 4D wall (on another level)”. T-ara, KARA, and Wonder Girls remained at the level for popularity in ‘Japan and Korea’. However, f(x) dropped to the lower level of only being popular domestically, joining  Brown Eyed Girls and miss A. The netizen had noted that the members’ individual activities accomplished little for f(x), most likely affecting teamwork and possibly decreasing their ranking. SISTAR rose to join the domestically popular groups with their successful comeback of “Alone” as they had dominated the music charts and placed first place on music shows in only two weeks. 4minute, who made a comeback at the same time as SISTAR dropped from its ranking in the “High Class” level. Due to their untimely comeback, 4minute was hurt in popularity, leaving only Secret and After School at the “High Class” level. While A Pink, Girls’ Day, and Dal Shabet retained its rising popularity rank, Rainbow dropped to the lowest ranking as their domestic activities did not achieve much success, leaving their domestic popularity worrisome. ‘Dream Team 2′ members suspect Rania’s T-ae of getting an eyeliner tattoo

 

On the April 22nd episode of KBS‘s ‘Dream Team 2‘, Rania‘s T-ae was suspected of having gotten an eyeliner tattoo.

Despite finishing a tough swimming competition, T-ae’s unchanged features brought the attention of the hosts. ZE:A‘s Dongjun raised the question by asking the singer, “Why hasn’t your eyeliner erased?”

MC Lee Chang Myung then thoughtlessly remarked, “It’s because it’s an eyeliner tattoo,” causing the set to burst into laughter. T-ae quickly defended herself by strongly denying his statement.

However, the MC did not back down easily as he immediately shot back, “I can already predict ‘T-ae’s eyeliner’ becoming the #1 most searched on portal sites,” giving the set another round of laughter.

Meanwhile, this week’s episode featured a couple swimming competition for the London Olympic D-100. Guests that appeared on this episode were Jo Sung Mo, Choi Sung Jo, Shorry, Kim Ji Woon, Lee Sang Ho, Lee Mi Jin, Rainbow‘s Go Woori, NS Yoon-G, and Nine Muses‘ Minha.
