Stars to peform at the ’2012 Uljin Music Farm Festival’

A number of South Korea’s top idol groups and musicians will holding an outdoor performance at the ‘2012 Uljin Music Farm Festival‘.

Organized by the Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., the Uljin Music Farm Festival will be kicking off its 6th year on August 4th and will last for two days at the Uljin Expo Park in Gangwon-do, Seoul.

Hosted by Koyote‘s Shinji, the first day of the festival will feature Brown Eyed Girls, Nine Muses, Girl’s Day, Heo Young Saeng, Dal Shabet, Younha, Harisu, Dalmatian, and Baechigi.

The line-up for the second day includes Song Dae Kwan, Kim Soo Hee, Kim Bum Ryung, Sung Jin Woo, Kim Yong Im, and Kim Yang as host.

Koyote’s Kim Jong Min to make his second single comeback with ‘Pit-a-Pat’

Koyote‘s Kim Jong Min has announced that he will be making a comeback with a sweet new digital single!

After making his solo debut a year ago with his first single, ‘Oppa, Find Strength‘, he will be coming back with his second single, ‘Pit-a-Pat‘. The song is the work of composer ‘My Hyung and My Dongsaeng‘, whom he previously worked with for Koyote’s ‘Good Good Time‘ mini-album, and the entire single was written, composed, and arranged by him, and features an acoustic sound as the highlight to bring out the feelings of first loves.

Fans should get ready to have their fingers curl over the outrageously sweet nothings he whispers in the song, as the single will contain almost sickeningly sweet narration with fellow singer Gilme in a comical yet romantic manner.

The single drops on May 11th.

Koyote’s Shinji leaves a touching video message for boyfriend Yoo Byung Jae

On the March 29th “single special” episode of SBS‘ ‘Star Couple Show – Honey‘, Koyote‘s Shinji expressed her apologetic feelings towards her professional basketball player boyfriend, Yoo Byung Jae.

Towards the end of the broadcast, Shinji left a touching tearful video message for her boyfriend saying, “You worked hard this season, and I know that you suffered a lot because of me.” She explained, “While he was focusing on his sport activities, he suffered a lot because of me. He worked hard, but people kept believing that he didn’t because he was too busy dating me.”

The singer then sparked jealousy from the audience after leaving a final message to her boyfriend saying, “Thank you for worrying about me, and I love you.”

Shinji and Yoo Byung Jae went public with their relationship back in September, and have been receiving a lot of support from fans.

Koyote’s Shinji and boyfriend Yoo Byung Jae have already met each others’ parents

Koyote‘s Shinji revealed that she and her boyfriend, basketball star Yoo Byung Jae, have met with both sets of parents!

On the March 29th episode of SBS‘ ‘Honey‘, Shinji stated, “My boyfriend and I are already calling each other ‘honey’ and ‘wifey’. We’ve also already introduced each other to our parents. The few minutes we can talk to each other on the phone since he’s so busy is like the oasis of my life.”

She continued, “However, I do feel that him publicly dating a celebrity has left a negative effect on his professional sports career.”

Fellow guest Jung Juri chimed in to add her own story by stating, “My ex-boyfriend was a bit poor. One day, he stole my piggy bank and used all of the money on gaming at the PC room, while another time, he stole a 10 kg bag of rice from my home.”

It has been revealed that after being in a lovey-dovey relationship with her ‘hubby’ which started last September, Koyote‘s beloved Shinji became a different person.

On January 7th, on MBC’s ‘Quiz To Change The World‘, Baekga and Kim Jong Min agreed as they revealed that Shinji changed after being in a relationship.

They complained, “We don’t even see her once a month because it’s basketball season. We can’t even talk to her even if we go to the basketball game“.

The emcees then curiously asked, “Has Shinji changed after she got a boyfriend?“. Fellow member, Baekga answered, “She doesn’t drink nor curse. She was a little violent before her boyfriend, but now she is like an innocent sheep. It’s like she was reborn as a better woman“.

However, the crowd burst out into laughter when Kim Jong Min admitted, “I actually saw Shinji drinking secretly“.

Rain and Koyote‘s Baekga was revealed to have a very close relationship.

On the January 7th broadcast of MBC’s ‘Three Turns‘, Koyote’s Shinji revealed, “Rain oppa and Baekga call each other ‘honey’“.

Baekga explained, “It’s because we’ve known each other for so long and we have no one else to depend on.“.

MC Park Mi Sun continued to ask “When Rain entered the army, did you cry?“, to which Baekga nodded yes. “We both promised that we wouldn’t cry, but he cried first so I ended up crying too. I even went to visit him“.

Fellow groupmate Kim Jong Min then added, “When Rain’s leaves are overnight, he would go to see him,” causing Baekga to look flustered.

Rain entered the military last October and is currently on active duty.

Koyote’s comeback digital single is produced by Brave Brothers

Koyote has announced that they’ll be working with hit composer Brave Brothers for their next comeback!

On December 29th, Koyote’s company revealed that the trio’s upcoming digital single release, “Repeating the Same Thing,” has been entirely produced by Brave Brothers himself.

Brave Brothers is already known for several hits with popular idol groups, and Koyote felt that he was just what they needed to get back in the game since their long hiatus. The trio reunited for the first time in five years in August with “Good Good Han Koyote“.

The single will be released on January 2nd, 2012.

Koyote’s Shinji shows off her new necklace from boyfriend Yoo Byung Jae

Koyote‘s Shinji (birth name Lee Ji Sun) showed off a gift given to her by her pro-basketball player boyfriend, Yoo Byung Jae.

Shinji celebrated her thirtieth birthday on November 18th, and the singer shared the photos of a special gift on her blog the next day with the message, “It’s sparkly. Pretty. Thank you~ I’ll never take it off! Extremely thankful… It’s the prettiest necklace I’ve ever seen♥ I was really touched^^ There isn’t a single flaw about you. You’re too perfect~”

In the photos, Shinji is dressed rather comfortably with a happy smile lighting up her face. Around her neck was the necklace Yoo Byung Jae gave her.

Netizens who saw these photos left comments such as, “I guess you do grow more beautiful when you fall in love. You look amazing“, “You look happy! I want to meet my better half too“, and “You, the necklace… both so pretty“.

The singer revealed her relationship with Yoo Byung Jae back in September via her personal blog.

Koyote members Shin Ji & Bbaek Ga visited a hospital for a mini concert

Co-ed group Koyote recently visited a hospital to do a good deed!

Female vocalist Shin Ji wrote on her Twitter on November 14th, “We arrived at Sung Mo hospital to share our happy and joyful energy. We will return after putting on a good show!” and posted the photo above.

In the picture, Shin Ji wears a red cardigan and smiles brightly as Bbaek Ga strikes a cute pose in the background next to the Catholic College Sung Mo Hospital logo.

Netizens who saw the photo have commented, “Patients at the hospital must have had a very energetic day that day“, and “Hope that you increase the patients’ endorphin levels with your fun songs!”

Koyote released a mini album “Good Good Koyote” back in August.

Koyote’s Shinji received a wedding bouquet from Jang Yoon Jung?

On a recent 1000 Song Challenge filming, Koyote‘s Shinji caught a bouquet that trot singer Jang Yoon Jung threw to her, causing quite the buzz among netizens.

Koyote’s leader, Kim Jong Min, expressed his attraction to Jang Yoon Jung back in October on a previous episode of the program.  He continued to display his warm feelings on the 40th episode special.

In order to help the poor guy out, fellow member Shinji, as well as the other people on the show, created a special ‘wedding event’ for the two.  MC Lee Hwi Jae officiated the wedding, Simon D sang a congratulatory song, and Shinji caught the bouquet, causing the set to explode into laughter.

Koyote’s Shinji calls her boyfriend ‘husband’

Koyote‘s Shinji recently revealed the nicknames she uses with her basketball player boyfriend, Yoo Byung Jae.

On the October 29th broadcast of MBC‘s ’Quiz That Changes The World‘, Shinji openly discussed her relationship with her boyfriend who is three years her junior. Upon being asked what nicknames the two used for each other, Shinji replied, “I call him ‘husband’ and he calls me ‘wife’.”

Suspicious of her answer, MC Park Mi Sun questioned, “I heard you use the nickname ‘Jidaengi’?” In response, Shinji said, “He calls me ‘Jidaengi’ and I call him ‘Yoobaengi.”

In addition, Shinji also revealed the story behind her couple ring. She said, “Because my boyfriend lives in Yongin, we don’t see each other often. However, he drove all the way to Busan to see me perform without telling me. When I got in his car, he said, ‘Honey, can you put this [ring] on and come up with me?’” After revealing her story, she showed of her ring to the cast and audience members. She later added, “Although he didn’t ask me, he knew my ring size. It fit perfectly. He is keen and sensitive.”

Hong Kyung Min, who also made an appearance on the show, said, “Before Shinji revealed her relationship, she brought him out once. To what extent he showed his care for her? On that day, they were on their way down from enjoying a meal together and for a moment Shinji slipped on the stairs. The basketball player must have been sensitive towards her because he quickly went off and bought back ice, almost as if he was making a fast break on the courts.”
