First generation idols Kan Mi Yeon and Hong Kyung Min surprise with a kiss scene

 

Singers Kan Mi Yeon and Hong Kyung Min have a surprise kiss scene.

Kan Mi Yeon is to make a cameo appearance on the March 19th episode of Channel A’s ‘K-POP Strongest Survival’ and will be acting alongside Hong Kyung Min.

She will be playing a former idol who had a scandal with Hong Kyung Min’s character fifteen years ago. Her character, Kang Hae Young, was part of a new girl group in the ’90s and her and Hong Kyung Min are to have a romantic scene together. Kan Mi Yeon is especially fit for this part, since she was part of ’90s girl group Baby V.O.X.

Kan Mi Yeon has acted before in music videos, so people are looking forward to her acting abilities.

‘K-POP Strongest Survival’ is about teens who dream of becoming idols and their realistic experiences.

Baby VOX’s Lee Hee Jin talks about her crush on Hong Kyung Min

On the episode of SBS ‘Strong Heart‘ that aired on the 25th, former Baby VOX member Lee Hee Jin admitted that she was jealous when she heard fellow member EZ was proposed to with Lee Seung Gi‘s song, “Will You Marry Me“.

“I really hope that when I’m proposed to, he will sing me that same song,” she said.

MC Lee Seung Gi as well as the other guests on the episode remembered that she had revealed her major crush on Hong Kyung Min on a past episode of ‘Strong Heart’, and they teased her by asking, “Doesn’t Hong Kyung Min sing that song really well?”

They continued to ask if there was any progression, and Lee Hee Jin answered, “I talked to him over the phone once after the show was over. He said that he enjoyed the program, but I couldn’t bring myself to contact him again.”

Lee Hee Jin continued to explain that she had run into him once afterwards, and they had grabbed a few drinks.

Seung Gi then asked what she would do if Hong Kyung Min really did sing her the song and carried out her ideal proposal. ”I would tell him that I like him the way he is right now, and tell him to never change,” she answered, unable to hide her feelings for him.

They then contacted Hong Kyung Min by phone, once again startling Hee Jin, and Hong Kyung Min evoked much laughter when he remarked, “I guess the show is proceeding well even without Kang Ho Dong!”

KBS‘s ‘Immortal Song 2‘ returned for another week of stunning performances put on by some of the best vocalists in the industry.

This week, the show followed up with Part 2 of its ’7080 Big Match’ special, where a total of 14 vocalists came together to perform renditions of the biggest hits from the 70′s and 80′s. The contestants were divided into two rounds, with the first round airing last week.

Last week, viewers got to see performances from Norazo‘s Lee Hyuk, Lee Jung, Lee Ki Chan, Lim Jeong Hee, Ali, Lee Haeri, Jung Hee Young.

This week, audiences gathered to experience performances from Seo In Young, Hong Kyung Min, Go Yoo Jin, Shin Yong Jae, SG Wannabe‘s Lee Suk Hoon, Im Tae Kyung, and Joo Hee.

In a pre-survey asking contestants to choose someone they were most cautious of, the singers all chose 4MEN‘s Shin Yong Jae and Ali. Although Shin Yong Jae is the maknae of the pack (born in 1989), he’s earned the respect of senior artists for his impressive vocal talent.
