So Ji Sub is hungry for strawberries in his magazine “SONICe”

So Ji Sub‘s magazine ‘SONICe‘ was released today in offline bookstores just in time for White Day in Korea.

The newly released ‘SONICe’ featured a ‘greed’ themed photoshoot of So Ji Sub. The photoshoot that shows him pulling on a model’s wrist and reaching to eat the strawberries in her hand was actually So Ji Sub’s idea.

The model who was blessed(?) by So Ji Sub’s touch is the same model in his arms on the cover of the magazine. When this was told, many of the fans were jealous of her.

The day before the release of ‘SONICe’, So Ji Sub released a song from his upcoming album ‘Corona Borealis‘, titled ”That Day a Year Ago.” The song is a mix of Bobby Kim‘s soft tone and So Ji Sub’s sorrowful rap that tells the story of a man who can’t let go of his love that left him one year ago.

Meanwhile, So Ji Sub will be starring as a cold detective, Kim Woo Hyun, in a new SBS drama, ‘Ghost’ that is set to air this May.

Cover of So Ji Sub’s ‘SONICe’ magazine revealed

As Korea’s very first magazine devoted to one single celebrity, ‘SONICe‘ is pulling no stops in making the magazine more special than it already is.

Dedicated entirely to So Ji Sub, ‘SONICe’ released the cover photo of its first issue today featuring a topless So Ji Sub embracing a veiled woman. His muscular arms and piercing gaze are enough to make anyone pick up the magazine upon first sight, no?

The magazine will be released in photobook style featuring date courses personally recommended by the actor himself, as well as introductions of his favorite meals and books. Unfortunately, it’ll only be released once a year.

This year, it will be released in Korea first on March 14th, and internationally at a later date.

So Ji Sub to release his very own magazine, ‘SONICe’

A ‘So Ji Sub Magazine’ is currently in the works.

According to his agency, So Ji Sub’s very own magazine titled ‘SONICe‘ will be published March 14th.

‘SONICe’ is drawing major interest as it is the first magazine devoted wholly to one single celebrity.

There have been a few instances of this happening in Japan, but this is being attempted for the first time in Korea with actor So Ji Sub.

His agency explained that ‘SONICe’, or “so nice”, was created by adding an “e” to the end of “sonic”, So Ji Sub’s nickname.

We expect ‘SONICe’ tobecome another term to refer to So Ji Sub, just like the term ‘So-Gan-Ji’ was coined to refer to the actor,” his agency stated.

‘SONICe’ will be a photo book in which the actor will share different stories, recommend his favorite date spots, cuisines, books, and more.

The concept for the pictorials of ‘SONICe’ is “his eyes”, and So Ji Sub will be expressing different themes such as greed, arrogance, envy, rage, sensual appetite, and indolence with his eyes alone.

Photographer Kang Young Ho reveals he was turned down by So Ji Sub five times

Professional photographer Kang Young Ho recently exposed the behind story on working with top stars, and has caught the attention of many.

The nation’s best photographer, who has received many ‘love calls’ from stars, made a guest appearance on the February 19th broadcast of JTBC‘s ‘Shin Dong Yup & Kim Byung Man’s Rascals‘. During the episode, he revealed the ‘behind story’ of top stars he worked with and exposed the arrogance that many of them had.

Kang Young Ho revealed, “Top models that are known as A-list celebrities act like prince and princesses. They seem to think as if they’re royalty. They probably didn’t live this way before, but after they got popular, they insist on only having brand names, even drinking only branded water.

He continued, “Usually it’s the A-list celebrities that act like that, however, B-list celebrities will also sometimes act that way as well. It’s already irritating when A-list celebs act in such away, but when B-list celebs do it, it gets even more irritating.

The photographer also revealed one A-list celebrity who he had been turned down by. He stated, “There was one A-list actor who always turned us down whenever we tried to work with him. We tried to work with him on an advertisement, but he rejected us five times” and revealed the actor to be none other than, So Ji Sub.
