f(x) celebrates their 3-year anniversary

f(x) celebrated the group’s 3rd anniversary since debut, thanking fans for their support.

Krystal posted to Twitter on September 5 KST: “Today, [f(x)] turns 3! Hehe. We’re old now. Please be with us until we’re old. Bbooing bbooing,” along with the photo below.

Victoria also posted on her me2day, “f(x)’s 3rd anniversary, congrats congrats. Good job to the members, who’ve worked hard until now. Let’s love each other more in the future, fighting. Thank you to all those of you who support us always! Stay with us in the future too.”

Rapper Amber tweeted, “Everyone, thank you so much for spending the last 3 years with us!! Vic-mom, puppy-Lulu, princess-Soojung, little-brother-Ssul, I love you.”

f(x) debuted with “Lachata” back in 2009.

f(x) members reveal that they quickly grew close by farting

 

The members of f(x) revealed how they got comfortable with one another very quickly.

f(x) members Luna, Amber, and Krystal guest-featured on the July 16th broadcast of SBS Power FM 107.7 MHz ‘Park So Hyun’s Love Game‘.

When DJ Park So Hyun asked when they first got comfortable enough to pass gas in front of one another, Luna remarked, “Our choreography instructor passes gas and burps extremely openly and comfortably, and we got used to that kind of atmosphere. It felt natural as we were growing closer to one another. We grew closer quicker, thanks to gas!”

Park So Hyun then hilariously asked who was the first to cut the cheese, the girls responded, “No one was really first, we just all started doing it,” causing the entire studio to erupt into laughter.

In related news, f(x) recently wrapped up promotions for “Electric Shock” with a final performance on SBS ‘Inkigayo‘.

Jessica and Krystal give each other a kiss

A photo of Girl’s Generation member Jessica showing affection towards her younger sister Krystal of f(x), is gaining the attention of people because of a photo titled ‘Jessica’s Kiss.’

An online community uploaded a picture from the past when Krystal appeared on SBS‘s ‘Kiss and Cry.’

In the photo, Jessica is very proud of her sister Krystal who skated on Kim Yuna’s ice show and plants a big wet one on her in front of the camera.

Krystal is unfazed by her sister’s kiss and returns the favor by giving her sister a kiss on the cheek, showing the love that the two sisters have for one another.

Fans who saw the photo commented, “Now it is not even surprising seeing this“, and “This is the way sisters should be.”

Verbal Jint would like to work with IU, Hyorin, and Krystal

Hip-hop musician Verbal Jint, who debuted in 1999, has sent a love call to IU, SISTAR‘s Hyorin, and f(x)‘s Krystal.

Verbal Jint guested on the latest broadcast of MBC Music‘s ‘Real Modern Concert‘ and talked about the numerous artists who featured on his latest album, titled ‘10 Years of Misunderstandings‘.

After briefly discussing his new album, the host asked which artist he would like to collaborate with next. To this, Verbal Jint answered, “If I had to select among those younger than me, I would select IU, SISTAR’s Hyorin, and f(x)’s Krystal.”

After the broadcast, viewers left comments such as, “Verbal Jint acknowledges IU“, “Who wouldn’t want to work with them?“, “I would love to see a collaboration between him and IU“, and “Great selection.”

Krystal of f(x) doesn’t think her face stands out?

f(x)‘s Krystal revealed that she has a humble opinion of her own physical appearance.

On the July 2nd broadcast of Mnet‘s ‘Beatles Code 2‘, MC Tak Jae Hoon compared Krystal and her older sister Jessica of Girls’ Generation asking, “Who do you think is prettier?”

Krystal responded without hesitation: “Unni,” referring to Jessica. Tak Jae Hoon then jokingly remarked, “We think she’s prettier too,” only to later add, “I personally think Krystal’s more pretty.”

The f(x) member wasn’t falling for it as she pointed out, “You just said that Jessica unni’s prettier,” and the MC explained, “That’s just the popular opinion, I think you’re prettier.”

Krystal then surprised the MC panel revealing, “I won’t acknowledge that. To be honest, I have a very common face. People have said, ‘Krystal has the kind of face that you can see at any random middle school or high school’.”

Sohee of the Wonder Girls, who also featured as guests on the episode, commented, “I don’t have a common face, but I think I have an ordinary face.” However, she also mentioned that she feels she’s the best looking out of her group, saying, “I love and am very dear to myself.”

Did G.NA kiss a female backup dancer on Inkigayo?

Singer G.NA is receiving a lot of attention for seemingly kissing a female backup dancer.

On the June 24th broadcast of SBS’s ‘Inkigayo‘ hosted by Lee Jong Suk, Kwanghee of ZE:A and Krystal of f(X), G.NA came out and sang her new track ‘2HOT.’

’2HOT’ is composed by Kim Do Hoon and Lee Hyun Seung with lyrics by Choi Gap Won and is a song with a nice beat that fits well with its electronic sound.  The sound of the song is really dynamic because of its use of brass instruments and strong bass.

G.NA performed while wearing a black top with gold sequins and hot pant and showed off her power and sexiness.  But what really caught the attention of many was not her outfit or her song but an effect that made it seem that she as locking lips with a female backup dancer during one of the poses in the choreography.  However, a rep has confirmed that this was just an optical illusion.

Still, the pose fits the song because it was just TOO HOT!

Labelmates as well as sisters, Jessica and Krystal, have landed on the cover of ‘Marie Claire‘ magazine.

On June 20th, the magazine released a few pictures off the upcoming July special edition featuring Girls’ Generation‘s Jessica and f(x)‘s Krystal.

The two boast slim bodies and doll-like features that are similar, yet also different enough to showcase their individuality. As they’re often called the “Olsen sisters” of Korea, the two played up their sisterly image by dressing in matching outfits.

f(x)’s Krystal throws impressive opening pitch for recent baseball game

Unlike her sister, f(x) member Krystal threw a powerful opening pitch for a recent baseball game.

On June 19th, Krystal threw the opening pitch at the Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul for the game between the Doosan Bears and the Nexen Heroes.

Dressed in black skinny jeans that traced the lines of her long, shapely legs, Krystal looked the part of an ‘athletic idol’. The singer earned the wild cheers from the fans in the stands as she confidently made her way onto the mound, and displayed the same flexibility and innate athletic abilities she previously showcased for SBS ‘Kiss & Cry‘.

After taking a few moments to prepare herself, Krystal threw an impressive pitch with one swift motion.

In related news, Krystal and the rest of the f(x) members recently made a comeback with their new hit song, “Electric Shock“.

f(x)’s Krystal once again under fire for her attitude

f(x)‘s Krystal is once again being put under fire for her attitude on television.

The ladies of f(x) appeared on Mnet‘s ‘Wide Entertainment News‘ to promote their latest title track “Electric Shock” and to have a brief interview with the emcees.

During the intervew, MCs Hong Jong Hyun and Yi Sol Ji shared an amusing photo of Krystal with Super Junior leader Leeteuk, revealing a hilarious contrast between cute and scary. Commenting on how the girl had also played a conceited character on MBC’s ‘High Kick Through the Roof‘, Hong Jong Hyun said, ”I heard Krystal is two-faced.”

Upon hearing his remark, Krystal bit her lower lip vexingly as if holding in her annoyance, and didn’t respond for a few seconds. A few netizens took notice of her drawn-out reaction and displeased expression, sharing screenshots on community forums.

Unsure of how to respond, Krystal glanced at Luna before Victoria defended a few seconds later, “She’s not really like that. When we’re together, she’s playful.” Luna also said, “Krystal’s two sides aren’t a bad thing. She’s charismatic and confident onstage, but in reality she’s charming and acts like the maknae.”

This isn’t the first time f(x)’s maknae has been rebuked for her attitude. During the ‘Wedding Race’ special episode on SBS‘s ‘Running Man‘, many noticed that Krystal glared at KARA‘s Han Seungyeon during the race.

Upon seeing the screen captures, netizens’ responses were split between, “She needs to fix her attitude,” and, “Why is Mnet asking such question in the first place?”

’1st Look’ reveals B-Cut photos of SM’s Yunho, Leeteuk, Seohyun, and Krystal

Earlier in the month, ‘1st Look‘ magazine revealed a special pictorial featuring TVXQ‘s Yunho, Super Junior‘s Leeteuk, Girls’ Generation‘s Seohyun, and f(x)‘s Krystal for SM Entertainment‘s new film, ‘I AM‘.

The staff at ’1st Look’ had to cut out some of the photos from the final pictorial but as a special treat for fans they decided to release some of the cut photos to the public. Their official Twitter account recently tweeted, “We’re revealing the ‘I AM’ B cuts that didn’t make the final selection! Check out the close up cuts of Seohyun and Krystal’s unedited figures as well as the statuesque Leeteuk and U-Know Yunho.”

This week’s ‘Running Man’ to have a ‘Wedding Race’ theme

As many of you know, miss A‘s Suzy, KARA‘s Seungyeon and Gyuri, 4minute‘s HyunA, and Krystal of f(x) will be featuring on the upcoming episode of ’Running Man‘.

A few still cuts of the members and the guests were revealed, and have left fans desperately awaiting the new episode.

As it had been hinted in the preview aired during the end of last week’s episode, the girl group members and the ‘Running Man’ members will be partnering up as couples on their wedding day.

Each couple will be racing against each other completing wedding-themed missions such as “dowry preparation”, “wedding photo”, and “wedding march” until the race comes to an end with a large-scale challenge at a wedding hall in Seoul.

Gyuri, Seungyeon, HyunA, Krystal, & Suzy to appear on ‘Survival Race’ episode of ‘Running Man’

We reported previously that KARA‘s Seungyeon and Gyuri, miss A‘s Suzy, 4minute‘s HyunA, and f(x) member Krystal were spotted recording for variety program ‘Running Man‘. The show has now confirmed the news, and announced that there would be some changes in the next episode.

This week’s ‘Running Man – Survival Race’ will be a little different from the original format. Usually, the members race to the finish line, completing a specific mission they were given. However, in the next episode, the members will vote for the one person they want out in each round, and try to eliminate that person within the given time frame.

The targeted individuals may move on to the next round if they’re able to dodge the attacks, but if not, they will be immediately eliminated at the end of the round.

Everyone reportedly looked nervous for the new game, not wanting to target one specific member. But once the game began, they began to scheme elaborate plans to vote each other off.

One member remarked, “I know ‘Running Man’ is a variety program, but not for this episode. I’m going to eliminate everyone.”

SM’s Yunho, Leeteuk, Seohyun, and Krystal model for ’1st Look’

For ‘1st Look‘ magazine, SM Entertainment labelmates got together for a special pictorial in time for the release of their new film, ‘I AM‘.

Each pictorial also features an in-depth interview with the stars, where TVXQ‘s Yunho in particular reveals his goals on how he wants to be remembered. He revealed, “I like resting, but I’m happier when I’m singing. Like my idol, Michael Jackson, I want to become a singer that is remembered forever, someone that can be a mentor for others.”

Super Junior‘s Leeteuk, who combined both masculine and chic looks for his style profile, expressed, “Behind the glitz and glam of the career of a celebrity lies a normal, Korean man, who is hungry for love and success.”

Girls’ Generation‘s Seohyun took the breath away of staff on set with her feminine yet powerful look. In her interview, she expressed, “My trainee days were fun and something to cherish because I made a lot of memories with my labelmate friends and unnis, memories that I wouldn’t be able to make at school. I’m both amazed and kind of shy that my trainee days will be revealed through ‘I AM’, but I think it will also be fun to share these with everyone.”

f(x)‘s Krystal showed off her own fashionable looks with a modern twist while also talking about her role in ‘High Kick 3‘, stating, “There are a lot of people that regard me as the same as my character, Ahn Soo Jung. I’m not like that, though. I may look cold on the outside, but I’m different once you get to know me. I’m just really shy.”

f(x)’s Krystal shares a childhood photo of member Amber

f(x)‘s Amber recently shared a baby photo of fellow group member Krystal as a special treat for fans, and it looks as though Krystal decided to return the favor.

On May 2nd, Krystal shared the photo above (right) on her official me2day page and wrote, “amber josephine liu’s 3rd birthday party.”

Fans were a bit surprised to see the photo of Amber in a lovely flower-print dress, as she is now known for her tomboyish charm. The photo was taken on Amber’s birthday, September of 1995.

“Amber was very girly at one point!” the fans wrote, along with, “She was so cute,” and “Oh I never knew her middle name was Josephine.”

f(x)’s Amber posts a cute childhood photo of member Krystal

On May 1st, f(x)’s tomboy Amber, updated her me2day with a treat for fans. She posted an endearing photograph of fellow member Krystal as a toddler with the message, “Soojung ah~ You are so cute” (Krystal’s full Korean name is Jung Soojung).

In the picture, little Krystal candidly has her arms up against the seat of the car while making the most adorable pout with her lips and what seems to be a wink with her right eye.

Netizens, in love with the newly shared picture, left comments like, “Wow~ she’s so cute. She looks exactly the same,” “It looks like she’s winking,” and “Toddler Krystal looks really loveable.” Another netizen made a reference to Krystal’s popular aegyo expression from the recently completed sitcom series ‘High Kick 3‘ by commenting, “Bbooing Bbooing.”

Sulli sketches in f(x) member Victoria in a recent selca

f(x)‘s Sulli humored her fans by drawing a “replica” of her fellow member Victoria.

On May 2nd, Sulli posted on her me2day, “There was an empty spot in the picture so I made a sketch, but doesn’t it look the same?” along with the above photo.

The revealed photo showed all the members of f(x) except Victoria posing for the camera. Amber and Sulli showed off their cute and chic charms while Krystal and Luna both held up peace signs.

Sulli’s sketch of Victoria, who was missing from the photo, made her fans laugh. Victoria’s signature big eyes were the focus of her drawing.

Girls‘ Generation‘s Jessica and f(x)‘s Krystal shared off their sisterly bond as they sported a matching couple look without planning to.

On April 29th, Krystal posted the above photos through her me2day, stating, “We came out of our individual rooms and this happened! Telepathy!!!!! Stripe JUNGs.”

The Jung sisters put on various poses for the camera while showing off their similar tastes in fashion as Jessica sports a black striped dress while Krystal is coincidentally matching her older sister in a red striped t-shirt and black skinny jeans.

Fans commented, “Who would say you aren’t the Jung sisters. Even your telepathy is right on”, “You really dressed well. Both of you have great fashion sense”, and “Cute Jessica and Krystal. Why don’t I have a little or older sister like them?”

Sulli, Hyoyeon, & Krystal open up about the times when they regretted joining SM Entertainment

The SM Entertainment artists opened up about the times they regretted joining the company.

The showcase for SM Entertainment’s new film ‘I AM‘ was held on April 30th, and f(x) members Sulli and Krystal, Girls’ Generation‘s Hyoyeon, as well as Kang Ta drew interest for admitting that at certain times they regretted joining SM.

“I lived in a dorm since I was in the fifth grade,” Sulli began. “I wanted to go home and I wanted to see my mom. My house was in Busan, and I was so upset that I could not go visit often.”

Sulli’s fellow f(x) member Krystal also added, “I was so frustrated that we had to live and stay at the company every day.”

Hyoyeon revealed that her reasons were similar to theirs. “I had to commute 3~4 hours, and it was hard on me at such a young age.”

Former H.O.T member Kang Ta who is now a director at SM Entertainment shared that he regretted joining the company because his trainee days were extremely difficult. “We ordered Chinese noodles every other day, and we ate sausages as meals.” He revealed that fellow H.O.T member Tony was once reprimanded for two whole days after ordering Japchae (Korean sweet potato noodles dish) over rice. Kang Ta further revealed that he wore leggings during his trainee days, and that he used his reflection in the window when practicing, in place of a real mirror.

Meanwhile, SM Entertainment’s new film ‘I AM’ scheduled to hit the big screens on May 10th is a documentary-style movie that will reveal the journey of the SM artists from their days as a trainee until now.

The Jung sisters have telepathic powers?

 

The Jung sisters, have once again shown their sibling affection through another photo.

On April 29th, f(x)‘s Krystal uploaded a photo taken with her sister, through Me2day and wrote, “This is what happened after we came out of our separate rooms.  Telepathy! Stripe JUNGs“.

Whether they truly have telepathic powers are unknown, but the Jung sisters look gorgeous nonetheless.

Fans were very amused by the post and commented, “Jung Sisters forever“, “I wish there was telepathy between me and my sister..” and “Very cute~“.

Photographer Oh Joong Suk shares previews of his pictorial with SM artists

TVXQ‘s Yunho, f(x)‘s Krystal, Girls’ Generation‘s Seohyun, and Super Junior‘s Leeteuk have been revealed to have participated in a unique photo shoot with photographer Oh Joong Suk.

On April 26th, the photographer shared on his Twitter, “Finished filming! Yunho, Krystal, Leeteuk, Seohyun.”

Pictured with a black and white/sepia finish, the three are seen with natural hair styles moussed up to look like they’d been hit by a strong wind for a while. While Yunho exudes a tough charm, Leeteuk gives off a sexy, romantic feel along with Krystal, who looks more mature than her age. Although he didn’t attach a preview of Seohyun’s, fans can probably expect her to be included in the final pictorial.

Followers commented, “It’s a level of profoundness that can’t be put into words,” “Looks like Yunho didn’t wash his hair, hehe,” “All three look sexy,” and “Definitely the work of photographer Oh.”
