While preparing food, Hyoyeon surprisingly confessed, “I’m saying this now since time has passed, but I have been to a place where minors aren’t allowed before I became an adult. They told me I would not have the chance to go there after I debuted, so I went to a club. There were so many people there at that time because it was Christmas Eve.

But to her disappointment, the first person to approach her turned out to be an ahjussi (mister/old man). “I thought to myself, ‘this isn’t right’, so I politely turned him down and went home.”

‘Invincible Youth 2′ cast comments on MC Lee Young Ja’s entrance + photos from July 25th’s filming

The ‘Invincible Youth 2‘ members commented on the addition of MC and “mom” Lee Young Ja to the cast.

Comedian Kim Shin Young, who’s been hosting the show alongside Boom, revealed that she was a little uncomfortable at first with the idea, as Lee Young Ja was a professor from her alma mater. She stated, “At first, I was a bit burdened by the fact that I’d be doing this with Professor Lee, but I’m learning a lot. It feels like we’ve gained our footing. Like our room is finally clean.”

SISTAR‘s Bora expressed, “We’re no longer blundering around. I feel like it’s a lot more organized. It’s comfortable because I can lean on ‘mom’. She leads us well.”

Girls’ Generation‘s Hyoyeon, who’s known as the daughter who doesn’t listen, stated, “I thought she’d be scary because she’s such a sunbae, but she’s comfortable like she’s my real mom. Because filming goes without a hitch, we end a lot earlier than before.” She also added about fellow member Sunny‘s departure: “I feel more responsible now that Sunny’s gone. I haven’t gotten the chance to make friends while promoting. I don’t really have any idol friends my age, but the ones I’ve met here are really human and honest.”

Bora said that she’s made friends on the show as well: “Even though it can get tiring, I just think of it as if we’re hanging out together.”

This week’s ‘Invincible Youth 2′ has been canceled due to the Olympics, but in the meantime, check out photos from the July 25th filming below!

In the middle of cooking, MC Lee Young Ja asked Wooyoung, “You revealed that you were approached by three female stars in the past, is this true?”

Wooyoung very honestly answered, “Yes, this is true. I have been approached.”

Lee Young Ja then asked, “Are there any of the G5 members that approached you?”, causing Wooyoung to hesitate momentarily but he didn’t answer. Then Lee Young Ja went to Hyoyeon to ask in jest if she could be one of the ones that asked him out, Hyoyeon immediately refuted, “Absolutely not. I’ve never dated another celebrity before.”

Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon gets embarassed in a spelling battle on ‘Invincible Youth 2′

Girls Generation’s Hyoyeon was embarrassed in a spelling battle, against an elementary school student on the July 21st broadcast of ‘Invincible Youth 2′. On this week’s episode, Hyoyeon and the other ‘Invincible Youth 2′ members tried out an Invincible Youth Guest House concept, by inviting guests from the public and creating special memories with them.

On this day, Hyoyeon and the elementary school boy were given a whiteboard by MC Boom, and then they were instructed to write down the phrase ‘chased after’. The elementary student correctly adhered to proper Korean spelling rules and wrote down the correct form of ‘chased after’, with the help of his father, whereas Hyoyeon wrote an incorrect version. The version Hyoyeon used was used in the Korean language pre-1988 era.

Hyoyeon explained cutely that she wrote the phrase the old way, because their ‘Invincible Youth 2′ house mom, Lee Young Ja, always wrote it that way. Lee Young Ja explained in good humor that it was because she “didn’t graduate from elementary school“, keeping the fun vibe alive for the viewers and the guests.

Thanks to Hyoyeon’s cute mistake, the elementary school boy was happily rewarded with the game winning prize, a brand new toy.

Hyoyeon caught eating a midnight snack on ‘Dancing With The Stars 2′?

GirlsGeneration‘s Hyoyeon was apparently caught unaware in the middle of a midnight snack.

Staff members of MBC‘s ‘Dancing with the Stars 2‘ reported that they spotted Hyoyeon eating in the middle of the night during the show’s June 28th recording.

This is especially surprising because of expectations that idol group members are constantly controlling their diets in order to maintain a slender figure. However, it seems that Hyoyeon has proved that a strict diet is not needed.

The Girls’ Generation member has been constantly practicing and recording until early morning for ‘Dancing With The Stars’, which is probably why she burns enough calories to retain her idol image. To compensate for using so much of her energy, Hyoyeon is reported to have started eating midnight suppers now.

You can catch Hyoyeon’s amazing dance skills on the upcoming episode of ‘Dancing With The Stars 2′, which airs on June 29th at 9:55PM KST.
