Shinhwa‘s Junjin gifted his father Charlie Park with hair implants. On August 21st, the two went to see a hair implant specialist in Seoul. Apparently, Charlie Park had been struggling due to hair loss, and seeing his father so disturbed, Junjin decided to take him to see a specialist.

Junjin said, “For a long time he’s been known as ‘Junjin’s father’, but I hope that now he can return to the entertainment industry and live a new life as Charlie Park. I know he was stressed and worried a lot, and it was hard to see him [lose so much weight]. One of the most important things to a celebrity is his hairstyle, and I hope that with the hair implants he can continue on in his entertainment career.”

The doctor who worked on Charlie Park’s scalp stated, “When men start losing hair and their scalp as well as hair roots lose strength, after a hair implant, they need to make sure to take care of their scalp. After a year, their hair will grow naturally and thicker.”

Charlie Park commented, “After my hair implants, I feel [more intent on] performing in musicals or appearing on television shows, and I want to [take the stage once again] as an entertainer.
