Jung Hyung Don is Psy’s Doppelganger?

Gagman Jung Hyung Don has perfectly transformed to ‘Beijing Psy’.

On the ‘Infinity Challenge‘ aired on the 8th, the first part of ‘As I promised’ episode was broadcasted as a sequel of last month’s ‘As I Said’ episode. In order to make a parody of the “Gangnam Style” music video at a museum in Beijing, Jung Hyung Don dressed up as Psy and surprised everyone with his similarity to the singer.

HaHa, who took on the role of a producer, made a 8:2 part in Hyung Don’s hair and combed the hair back with plenty of mousse. He even made him wear a suit and sunglasses just like Psy.

Beijing Team, made up of Jung Hyung Don, HaHa, Defconn, Noh Hong Chul, was given the mission to eat jjajangmyun at the Great Wall of China and film ‘Beijing Style’. The opposing team made up of Jung Joon Ho, Yoo Jae Suk, Park Myung Soo, and Gil had to visit Dokdo Island and  serve cold bean-soup noodles and radish noodles and make a music video for  ’Dokdo Style’.

However, the plans for Dokdo Island was forced to be pushed back due to the Typhoon Bolaven. Even though they could not go to the island, the cast promised within themselves to visit later and turned back.

Noh Hong Chul gets jealous of Verbal Jint on ‘Infinity Challenge’

Who is better looking? Comedian Noh Hong Chul or rapper Verbal Jint?

On the August 25th episode of MBC‘s ‘Infinity Challenge‘, Verbal Jint appeared on the show to deliver the mission to the members. Two weeks ago, the rapper appeared as the Russian Roulette game host during the ‘As I Say’ episode. It seems that PD Kim Tae Ho was satisfied with his performance and decided to put him on again for this week’s ‘You Go To Hawaii’ episode.

As Verbal Jint appeared on a TV screen to deliver the mission, Noh Hong Chul asked, “Verbal Jint! Are you now officially part of the show?“ Park Myung Soo then said, “Now that I see him again, Verbal Jint is actually really good looking.” Noh Hong Chul started getting jealous and jokingly dissed the rapper by saying, “I think he has a really big head.”

In the past, Noh Hong Chul was selected as the ‘best looking’ Infinity Challenge member during the ‘You’re Beautiful’ (parody of the SBS drama). Also, the comedian was consistently made fun of by the members to have a huge head hidden under his trademark beard.

In related news, the seven members of Infinity Challenge were given a mission to pass all the rounds with different tasks in order to receive a ticket to Hawaii.

HaHa sent his fiance a video message by starting, “Go Eun (Byul’s Korean name). I used to joke around by asking you to get married with me, but I can’t believe this is actually happening. I still have a long way to go, but thank you for trusting me and I will make sure to become the best guy you could ever have.

He added on, “I used to be scared of getting married. This is only possible because it’s you. I love you. I’ll see you during the wedding.

During ‘Infinity News’, HaHa reacted to the ‘shotgun marriage’ rumors by confessing that Byul is religious and committed to chastity. Although HaHa confessed that he felt ‘stressed’, he still was able to protect his fiance and seemed excited about their wedding night as he jokingly said, “I will pour all my energy and bring out the inner beast in me.“ The comedian finished off his message by hilariously saying, “Let’s happily live together. And honestly it’s been really difficult for me. There’s a devil growing inside of me… I need you.

While HaHa was giving out this touching message to his soon-to-be wife, the rest of the members started distracting HaHa by messing up his attire and hair. Despite this, HaHa successfully delivered his hilarious yet touching message to his fiance, whom he described as, “Sexy, but also cute. Cute and innocent, but also sexy.

[Spoiler]Park Myung Soo’s Joker induces a roar of laughter on ‘Infinity Challenge’

Park Myung Soo delivered laughter to the viewers due to his misunderstanding of game rules on MBC‘s ‘Infinity Challenge‘.

‘Infinity Challenge’ aired on the 18th featuring a continuing game of “As I say”. In the buses assigned to each member by the game of Russian Roulette in last week’s episode, each member fills out the Who, What, Why, When, Where and How in order to complete a sentence. When the empty placards next to the bus are completed, then each member has to to act out the sentence as the punishment.

When the bus halts at the pre-determined bus stops, the members can write on either their own or other member’s placards. All members are previously given a ‘Joker’ card that can make the sentence invalid if used wisely. ‘Joker’ cards can contain any words except those related to the five W’s and one H, basically a member can write whatever he wants.

Park Myung Soo was given an almost completed sentence that makes him do gymnast Son Yeon Jae‘s ribbon routine in his underwear, in Jung Joon Ha‘s bedroom, when Yoo Jae Suk wants him to. With one last placard left, he took out his ‘Joker’ card. But because he misunderstood the rules of the game, he wrote “Joker” in the last card. Ultimately, he ended having to get the punishment.

When he heard of the result, his confident face was at once crumpled. Jung Hyung Don laughed out loud and commented, “That was completely unexpected” and Yoo Jae Suk laughed his head off and said in between breaths, “I can’t believe this! You really made us laugh today, hyung.” As he was taking the news in, Park Myung Soo was embarrassed and humorously yelled at the passerby’s who were filming the scene.

On the August 11th episode, Lee Joon joined the ‘Infinity Challenge’ cast as well as actress Lee Na Young, Jo Kwon, Lee Tae Sung, and Defconn on the final part of the ‘summer MT’ special.

The guests participated in a speed quiz game, and Lee Joon, who was on Park Myung Soo‘s team, was asked to explain the word “moratorium” (actual English word).

The MBLAQ member seemed taken aback as he yelled, “The hat (moja in Korean)… I want to wear a hat… hat.. boradori.” Defconn and Park Myung Soo were obviously confused, however, Lee Joon continued to yell, “The second syllable from boradori!”

‘Infinity Challenge’ pokes fun at T-ara scandal and Olympic fencing?

The weekend MBC variety show ‘Infinity Challenge’ has long been known for its sharp wit and sideways references to social issues, and the latest episode was no exception as the show made quick passing remarks towards both the T-ara incident and the Olympic fencing controversy.

Midway during the program, cast member Noh Hong Chul grew visibly frustrated during a ‘speed quiz’ segment, and the caption remarked “only one second passed…you can slow down”. This is a reference to the incident during the 2012 London Olympics where South Korean fencing contestant, Shin Ah Lam, was attacked by her opponent repeatedly during a period when the timer was momentarily stopped with one second left on the clock.

In another segment, team leader Jung Jun Ha attempted to push Defconn to the other team, but met with fierce resistance along with the caption “hanging on with determination”. ‘Determination’ has become a buzzword of sorts following the tweets by the T-ara members which started the entire controversy.

Recently, fake Facebook accounts of the ‘Infinity Challenge’ members have been receiving a lot of “likes” on the social networking service.
