‘Infinity Challenge’ tops this week’s viewer ratings in its time slot





MBC‘s ‘Infinity Challenge‘ is maintaining its position at the top in the race for viewer ratings!


On August 19th, AGB Nielsen Media Research revealed that the episode broadcast on the 18th had recorded 14.2% in viewer ratings, a 1.8% rise compared to last week.


The episode was a crowd favorite, as it featured the members being pulled into unknown locations and given game instructions and missions to complete.


Trailing behind in the same time slot from KBS and SBS were ‘Immortal Song 2‘ and ‘Star King‘, which recorded 10% and 7% respectively.

‘Star King’ features watermelon carvings of Boom & Leeteuk





Expert food carver Kim Young Jin visited the set of SBS‘ ‘Star King‘ to show his amazing skills creating art with vegetables and fruit.


On the April 28th broadcast of ‘Star King’, the food artist created replicas of hosts Park Mi Sun, Boom, and Super Junior‘s Leeteuk.


Kim Young Jin is reported to have accurately drawn the features of the MCs, including Boom’s famous nose and Leeteuk’s eyes, with watermelons. He also carved flowers out of carrots, and gave them out to the members of the program’s panel.

Six Fingered pianist Kim Tae Hoo amazes everyone on Star King





 


On the April 21st broadcast of SBS’s Star King, six-fingered pianist Kim Tae Hoo moved everyone with his amazing performance.


Ever since he was born, he was bothered by his left hand, however he stated, “I have confidence in playing piano.” Kim Tae Hoo has been playing the piano for 6 years now.


On the show, he played “Suite Espanola” flawlessly, which is a very hard and fast paced song. The guests on the show responded in awe saying, “How is this possible” and “Oh my goodness“.


Following up, Kim Tae Hoo played Yiruma‘s famous “River Flows In You“, with such beauty that it moved Kim Na Yoon and Yoo Hyun Sang to tears.


Also Kim Tae Hoo and elbow pianist Choi Hye Yeon performed “You Were Born To Be Loved” together, again moving everyone with their beautiful performance.
