J.Y. Park gives actor Bae Yong Joon a birthday beating?

Singer-producer J.Y. Park wished Hallyu star Bae Yong Joon a happy birthday with a funny photo.

On August 28th, J.Y. Park left a post on his me2day and Twitter writing, “Yon-sama, birthday punch! Keke. Happy birthday~ Happy birthday Yong Joon! Here’s your birthday beating!”

Accompanied by the post was a playful photo of himself about to give a styrofoam figure of Bae Yong Joon several birthday punches. The angry expression on his face and the way he’s holding a fist in the air brought much laughter to fans and netizens.

They left comments like, “Happy birthday Yon-sama“, “It’ll be over with just one punch“, “His facial expression is so real“, “How cute“, “He didn’t actually make that styrofoam doll, right“, and more.

Super Junior’s Yesung celebrates his final birthday in the 20′s with Japanese ELF

Super Junior‘s Yesung celebrated his 29th birthday (Korean age) on August 24th. As the members of Super Junior are in Yokohama, Japan for their ELF-JAPAN FAN MEETING 2012, Yesung shared his thoughts on celebrating his final birthday in his twenties.

Yesung took to Twitter to share the above photo and tweeted: “Last Birthday in the 20′s .. this strange feeling will be wrapped up by celebrating with our ELF ^^ I’m a Happy Person ^^”

It was reported that more than 30,000 fans attended the ELF-JAPAN FAN MEETING 2012 event.

Fans celebrate Seohyun’s 22nd birthday with a newspaper ad

On June 28th, fans of Girls’ Generation‘s maknae Seohyun celebrated her 22nd birthday (Korean age) by publishing a thoughtful message in a newspaper advertisement.

The message stated, “Look when you’re lonely. Bright like your smile, clear like your heart, and wide like your love, look up at the blue sky. Our hearts will be with you to the end, wherever your song can reach. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ♥SEOHYUN♥ Happy 22nd birthday to Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun ^0^.”

It’s become tradition for members of Girls’ Generation and other artists’ fan cafes to publish birthday ads for their favorite artists every year.

Seohyun celebrated her birthday by having a small dinner party with friends. Super Junior‘s Leeteuk tweeted, “Angel maknae princess Seohyun! Happy birthday! I was really surprised by your sudden party invite. Although it was a short time, it’s been such a long while since we gathered like this. Eunhyuk came and went ahead of me. Anyway, happy birthday.”

Girl’s Day’s Hyeri thanks fans for wishing her a happy birthday

After celebrating her birthday today, Girl’s Day member Hyeri took the time to visit Twitter and thank her fans for congratulating her on turning 19.

The young singer greeted her fans with Korean & Japanese tweets in thanks:

NU’EST’s Aron and JR celebrate their birthdays with fans at their first official fan event + comeback this Summer

Rookie group NU’EST recently celebrated the birthdays of members JR and Aron with their fans in an intimate meet-and-greet event hosted at Olleh Square on June 4th.

NU’EST debuted only a few months ago, quickly garnering much success with their debut single “Face.” This fan event will mark the group’s first ever official fan event since their debut on March 15th.

The event was created to give back to the fans for their support for the group. While there was a limit of 1000 entrees for the event, the seating limit in the venue was increased by 300 seats due to popular demand. In order to give all fans a fair chance to be a part of one of the 300 extra attendees, the lucky contestants were chosen by a random drawing.

The event consisted of various events that enabled fans to interact face-to-face with the idols, allowing an intimate bonding between the the boys and the fans. The two birthday boys JR and Aron also provided a special surprise for the fans as they performed a duet version of their song “Face.” Other notable events for the fans included a montage of video clips that showed the members during their trainee days.

“It’s been a long time since we saw you last, and we’re so happy to see you all here today,” said NU’EST, “We are so blessed to have you all, and I hope you will stick with us through all the memories we’re going to make together in the future!”

Meanwhile, the boys have announced during the event that they will be making a comeback this summer with an upgraded concept and performance.

Girls’ Generation fans celebrate YoonA’s birthday with a newspaper ad

Members from a Girl’s Generation fan club took out an ad in the local newspaper to celebrate the birthday of member YoonA.

Every year on May 30th, the Girl’s Generation fan club celebrates YoonA’s birthday and have nicknamed the day, ‘The Day of YoonA’s Birth’. They celebrate this day every year by either holding an event or taking out a newspaper ad.

On May 15th, the fan club also took out an ad for member Sunny to celebrate her birthday.

YoonA’s most recent drama, ‘Love Rain‘ aired its final episode on May 29th and she has plans to shift the focus back on her music career for the time being.

SECRET’s Ji Eun receives the center spot for her birthday

On May 5th, SECRET‘s Ji Eun celebrated her 22nd birthday.

On this day, she received special birthday treatment by getting the center spot in the group.

Ji Eun tweeted, “They let my have the center spot because it’s my birthday. Sunhwa and Zinger‘s fail heart… th..thanks guys. Leader unni missed it.”

The picture attached to Ji Eun’s tweet showed her happily standing in the center spot between Sunhwa and Zinger as they attempted to make a heart with their arms over Ji Eun’s head. Unfortunately, leader Hyosung couldn’t join them in the photo due to schedule conflicts.

Netizens commented, “Ji Eun finally got the center spot“, “I hope can stay in the center“, “Happy birthday Ji Eun“, and “It’s a pity Hyosung missed it.”

2AM members celebrate Jinwoon and Changmin’s birthdays

2AM‘s Jo Kwon revealed some past photos of his fellow members Changmin and Jinwoon in celebration of their birthdays.

Jo Kwon recently tweeted, “Today is Changmin hyung’s birthday~~ :)” while sharing pictures of him and Changmin.

He also tweeted shortly after, “Jinwoon… Happy Birthday. You can definitely become a legend“, along with Jinwoon’s pre-debut photos.

Seulong also humored fans by retweeting Jo Kwon’s tweet with “400,000 followers, infinite re-tweets!“, along with wishing Jinwoon a happy birthday with the comment, “Jinwoon, Happy Birthday. If we’re going down, let’s go down together.”

After viewing the tweets, fans commented, “Jinwoon’s pre-debut pictures will become a legend“, “Happy Birthday Jinwoon and Chagmin!”, “Changmin oppa looks so tired”, and “Jinwoon’s photos are hilarious!”

2PM’s Wooyoung celebrates his 23rd birthday

Today is 2PM member, Wooyoung‘s birthday!

On April 30, Wooyoung celebrated his birthday and uploaded a couple of photos onto his Twitter.  ”Thank you Thank you Thank you ^^ to all those, who congratulated my birthday“, he tweeted.

It seems like yesterday, when 2PM made their debut in 2008 with their first track, “10 out of 10“.  Time sure flies, doesn’t it?

It looks like Wooyoung got treated with lots of goodies, as he blew out candles from a fruit cake and…. a HamChoco (Hamburger + Choco Pie) cake?
