ZE:A’s Kwanghee tells SECRET’s Sunhwa to no longer become close with male idols

On the latest episode of MBC‘s ‘We Got Married‘, ZE:A‘s Kwanghee stated to SECRET‘s Sunhwa to no longer become close with other male idols.

While the two were on their way to a clothing store for a mission, Kwanghee suddenly asked her, “I’m your closest friend among idol members, right?”

To this, Sunhwa replied, “Yes, you’re my closest friend,” and added, “But I’m the type of personality that’s close with everybody.”

Kwanghee then caught the attention of viewers by saying, “Don’t be like that anymore,” showing off a bit of his more rough and manly side.

ZE:A’s Kwanghee and SECRET’s Sunhwa have their first date on ‘We Got Married’

ZE:A‘s Kwanghee and SECRET‘s Sunhwa had their first official date as a couple on MBC‘s ‘We Got Married Season 4‘.

On the September 8th broadcast, Kwanghee drove Sunhwa to the airport as the SECRET member had to depart to Japan. Kwanghee said goodbye to Sunhwa with a handshake, stating, “Let’s shake hands,” to which Sunhwa responded, “[Seriously?] A hand shake?”

The ZE:A member revealed his true thoughts during his interview, saying, “Her hands were soft. I’m not sure how she felt. What if we end up kissing the fastest [out of all the couples]?”

“We can’t do it too soon. Love needs push and pull. If we do everything at once, things will get boring later. I find it hard to control emotions too, I tend to get caught up in the moment. Sunhwa seems to get caught up as well. If things keep going this way, we’ll both definitely get caught up in the moment together.”

Kwanghee prepared dolls that looked like the couple as a gift to Sunhwa as well. She seemed touched by the unexpected present as she smiled, replying, “Thank you.”

SECRET’s Hyosung expresses jealousy over Sunhwa and ZE:A’s Kwanghee

SECRET‘s Hyosung expressed jealously over Sunhwa and ZE:A Kwanghee‘s relationship on the September 8th broadcast of ‘We Got Married 4‘.

Hyosung, who appeared as a guest on the MC panel, stated, “When Sunhwa and Kwanghee are on the same music program, she says, ‘My husband’s on right now,’ and brags. I’m so jealous I could die.”

Sunhwa was added to the ‘We Got Married’ cast with Kwanghee on September 1, and though she didn’t seem too ecstatic about the arrangement at first, it looks like both idols have now warmed up to the idea.

SECRET releases Sunhwa’s teaser photo for ‘Poison’

After revealing their teaser photos for Hyosung, Ji Eun, and Zinger, SECRET has released the next teaser photo for ‘Poison‘ featuring Sunhwa!

Sunhwa carries on the classy, yet sexy theme going on in the previous teaser photos, but has kept her hair soft and messy with a braid rather than utilizing a hair piece like the other members.

As previously mentioned by their stylist, the group’s new look is “based off the 1940′s British ‘lady look’ and ‘espionage look’”

ZE:A’s Kwanghee and SECRET’s Sunhwa not confirmed for ‘We Got Married 3′

It’s been announced that previous reports about SECRET‘s Sunhwa and ZE:A‘s Kwanghee joining the cast of MBC‘s ‘We Got Married 3‘ are not set in stone.

Julien Kang and Yoon Se Ah were added to the cast of the show this past 16th, and though Sunhwa and Kwanghee were reported as the next couple to join them, it’s now been announced that nothing has been confirmed.

A representative of ‘We Got Married’ stated, “We’re letting you know the producers’ stance on the reports of new couples. In the midst of Yoon Se Ah and Julien Kang being confirmed for the show, there is now a lot of news that ZE:A’s Kwanghee, SECRET’s Sunhwa, and MBLAQ‘s Lee Joon will be joining as part of a new couple.”

“[It's true that we're meeting with celebrities from all industries.] However, we haven’t decided on which new couple we’ll be adding or how we’ll be matching the couples up… We’ll let you know when it’s been confirmed.”

ZE:A’s Kwanghee and SECRET’s Sunhwa join ‘We Got Married 3′ as new couple

Idol group ZE:A‘s Kwanghee and SECRET‘s Sunhwa have joined MBC‘s ‘We Got Married 3‘ cast as a new couple, following the addition of Julien Kang and Yoon Se Ah.

On August 17th, a representative of MBC confirmed the news and revealed that one idol has already concluded filming for the first episode.

The current couples on ‘We Got Married’ are T-ara‘s Eunjung & Lee Jang Woo, Super Junior‘s Leeteuk & Kang Sora, Julien Kang & Yoon Se Ah, and now Kwanghee & Sunhwa.

ZE:A’s Kwanghee received a lot of love for his bravery on SBS‘ reality show ‘Laws of the Jungle‘ and is now taking a stab at acting on SBS’ ‘To The Beautiful You‘. SECRET’s Sunhwa gained an enormous amount of popularity and attention after appearing in season one of KBS‘ ‘Invincible Youth‘.

Has miss A’s Suzy fallen for Sunhwa’s charms?

It seems as though miss A‘s Suzy found her new best friend on ‘Invincible Youth 2‘!

For the June 9th episode of KBS‘s ‘Invincible Youth 2′, season one members Secret‘s Sunhwa and T-ara‘s Hyomin paid a visit to the village of Daebudo, along with actors Joo Sang Wook and Lin Kyo Jin. The G6 members and the four guests split into three teams to make the ingredients that go into mugwort rice cakes.

During the opening, Sunhwa and Hyomin made their entrance together on the program and was met with a warm welcoming. However, Sunhwa was once again teased by MC Kim Shin Young for her ‘blank brain’ image on season one and was also teased for her grey baggy outfit which looked similar to a Buddhist monk’s robe. But despite everything, Sunhwa showcased her talents and confidently revealed her thoughts.

Seeing Sunhwa’s character unfold, Suzy murmured to KARA‘s Kang Jiyoung, “That unnie is weird.” However, that soon changed after Suzy continued to watch over Sunhwa’s bright personality. She told Sunhwa, “I like Sunhwa unnie! She’s my style. I’m gonna ask for her number today.”

The two have also become closer after working together to make mugwort rice cakes. While watching Sunhwa chat nonstop, this led Suzy to ask, “Unnie, why do you talk so much?” to which Sunhwa replied, “You’re supposed to talk on a variety program. What else do you do then?”

In addition to this episode, viewers got a good laugh from the two members as they exchanged a hilarious conversation while cleaning the mugworts. “This one looks like a sweet potato, while this one looks like a regular potato,” Suzy said.

To this, Sunhwa remarked, “Then what does this look like?” to which she answered, “Poop.” However, Sunhwa jokingly commented, “It’s your poop,” and Suzy backfired “You’re so childish!”

SECRET’s Sunhwa confesses she felt alienated during the group’s debut days

SECRET‘s Sunhwa confessed that she felt alienated by her team members in the past on SBS‘s ‘Strong Heart‘.

On the recent recording of ‘Strong Heart’, Sunhwa began shedding tears as she confessed, “During our early debut days, I misunderstood and thought that the members were alienating me, and lived in loneliness.”

Sunhwa explained that as she had to digest personal schedules all throughout the week, leading to the misunderstanding. She continued, “When the members made memories together that I didn’t know about while I was away, I started to feel alienated.”

“However, during practice, we resolved our misunderstanding by talking and I explained to them about the times I shed tears, and overcame the difficult period,” she explained.

SECRET’s Sunhwa shares a story about a time she fell in love at first sight

SECRET‘s Sunhwa admitted that she once was the first one to approach someone she was interested in.

On the June 5th episode of SBS‘s ‘Strong Heart‘, Sunhwa remarked, “I once recklessly approached a guy I fell in love with at first sight.”

“I went to see a performance, and I instantly fell in love with the band’s main vocal,” she explained. “During the middle of the show, the lead vocal began emceeing the event and he called up all the single people to the stage. I ran up there as fast as I could.”

Unfortunately, the lead vocal tried to set Sunhwa up with a different man. Though a bit dumbfounded, Sunhwa suddenly turned to the audience after working up some courage and remarked, “If you think I look good with this man next to me, raise one finger, but if you think I look good with the main vocal, raise two fingers.”

Furthermore, Sunhwa turned to the lead vocal and honestly confessed, “I came up to the stage because I like you.”

Sunhwa revealed that the man who received her confession responded as she had hoped, saying, “Honestly, I like you, too.”

Hyomin takes pictures with ‘Invincible Youth’ members

T-ara member Hyomin showed her cheerful nature on the set of KBS2‘s ‘Invincible Youth 2.’

On May 31, Hyomin posted to Twitter, “I came back from filming ‘Invincible Youth’. I don’t know how long it has been since I have laughed that much. I don’t think I need to worry about being edited out much. For real!“  She then tweeted a little later, “Ace!”

The T-ara member took a photo with members from the first season of ‘Invincible Youth’, Girls’ Generation‘s Sunny, SECRET‘s Sunhwa, and comedian Kim Shin Young, posing like a power ranger.

Followers commented, “They are so beautiful even when they don’t dress up,” “Because Sunhwa and Hyomin are next to each other they seem like they are glowing,” and “Hyomin, happy belated birthday. Be strong today!”

What are SECRET‘s Ji Eun and Sunhwa doing with their spoons?

For the first time in a long while, the SECRET members appeared on a variety show.

On May 8th, Ji Eun tweeted, “For the first time in a while, I went on a variety show outing with Sunhwa! We must have a lot of eating fortune. Aww so full.”

In the revealed picture, Sunhwa and Ji Eun are holding spoons by their mouths. Sunhwa in particular looks satisfied and happy with her beautiful eye smile.

Fans responded, “What variety show are you coming out on,” “I think it’s been a while. I’m glad to see you,” and “Show them what an eating reaction is!”

SECRET’s Ji Eun receives the center spot for her birthday

On May 5th, SECRET‘s Ji Eun celebrated her 22nd birthday.

On this day, she received special birthday treatment by getting the center spot in the group.

Ji Eun tweeted, “They let my have the center spot because it’s my birthday. Sunhwa and Zinger‘s fail heart… th..thanks guys. Leader unni missed it.”

The picture attached to Ji Eun’s tweet showed her happily standing in the center spot between Sunhwa and Zinger as they attempted to make a heart with their arms over Ji Eun’s head. Unfortunately, leader Hyosung couldn’t join them in the photo due to schedule conflicts.

MBLAQ’s Lee Joon claims that SECRET’s Sunhwa is more clueless than he is

MBLAQ‘s Lee Joon revealed that there is someone that is even more clueless than he is.

During the shoot for the April 26th episode of KBS2TV‘s ‘Happy Together 3 – Rival Special‘, Lee Joon claimed that SECRET‘s Sunhwa was more clueless than he was.

Sunhwa was present at the recording and she expressed her discontent saying,

“I was glad that my recent airport fashion made a big enough issue for my former clueless image to be forgotten. But it seems to be coming back now, all because of Lee Joon.“

Lee Joon elaborated,

“Sunhwa is far more clueless that I am… There was a time when I appeared on the same variety program, and the answer to a presented proverb question was ‘A dog´s fate is a fortunate fate’. Sunhwa told me that she would tell me the answer, but incorrectly said, ‘A dog’s fate is my fate’.“

Sunhwa also showed off her interesting personal talent, singing SECRET’s hit songs with a crow’s voice.

Lee Joon and Sunhwa’s clueless battle will air on ‘Happy Together’ on April 26th.

Sunhwa recently updated her fans with a few selcas.

On her personal hompage, she uploaded the above pictures with the title, “daily life of 2012/3/31.“ The SECRET member’s adorable photos had fans commenting on her long wavy hair, innocent charm, and cute expressions.

Sunhwa’s fans left comments stating, “Sunhwa’s recent photos came out well,” “I want SECRET to make a comeback soon,” and “Sunhwa is a goddess.”

Lizzy, Sunhwa, Hyorin, and Seungyeon confirmed for ‘We Got Married’ spin-off

KARA‘s Seungyeon, After School’s Lizzy, SISTAR‘s Hyorin, and SECRET‘s Sunhwa have been confirmed for MBC‘s new ‘We Got Married‘ spin-off, ‘Pit-a-pat Shake‘.

On January 6th, PD Jun Sung Ho revealed, “We recently completed the first shoot with Seungyeon, Lizzy, Hyorin, Sunhwa, and their male partners. The atmosphere was great, and I think it will be fun for the audience to watch the stories these couples create.”

When asked about the male partners, they revealed, “We cannot reveal that yet. There’s a mix of singers and actors.”

He continued, “The female stars showed a side to them that isn’t normally seen. Seungyeon had unique ideas about dating with a strong feminine side, while Hyorin was cool about everything. Sunhwa was also different from the ‘blank sheet’ character she’s known to be. Lizzy was well-loved by the male stars and worked hard to escape her ‘saturi’ image. Still, she couldn’t help but slip in her country dialect now and then, which was cute.”

The spin-off is the dating version of ‘We Got Married’. The continuation of the show will depend on how the viewers receive it for now.

Where does SECRET‘s Sunhwa go to hide away from the world?

On November 5th, Sunhwa wrote on her minihompy, “I’m listening to ballads by myself, avoiding the noise in the waiting room. Good good. Am I feeling under the weather? Before, I didn’t like ballads, but they’re all I listen to now. Sensitive woman. It’s raining today, and it’s sad, so sad.”

In her photos, Sunhwa curls up with an iPad and a pair of big headphones in a tiny closet. Her faraway expression also conveys the effect of the ballads on her state of mind.

SECRET’s Sunhwa shares a goddess-like selca

SECRET‘s Sunhwa has been drawing compliments for her ‘goddess-like beauty’, thanks to some photos she shared on her minihompy.

Wearing a peach sundress, Sunhwa seemed to give off a ‘goddess-like’ aura indeed, thanks to the effects of the sun shining down on her light brown hair. Though it’s a gorgeous shot, Sunhwa managed to insert some aegyo by playfully holding up her hair to her mouth.

Netizens noted, “You look like a Greek goddess,” “You got even prettier after releasing your new album,” and “You’re pretty but.. you’re not supposed to eat hair ^^;;;”
