miss A’s Jia and Fei cast in upcoming Korean-Chinese drama, ‘Happy Noodle’

miss A‘s Jia and Fei will be joining fellow members Suzy and Min in their acting ventures by making their own acting debuts!

The two have been cast in an upcoming Korean-Chinese collaboration drama titled ‘Happy Noodle’. Drama representatives explained, “Fei and Jia have been cast for ‘Happy Noodle’, a drama that is scheduled for broadcast in China. The members of miss A have high recognition in China and have been taking acting lessons for a while now so there are high expectations for their debut.”

‘Happy Noodle’ will take place in a famous Chinese noodle restaurant where hopefuls gather to become the greatest chef ever. The story will take place in China while the cast itself is made up of Korean or Korean speaking members.

The representative hinted, “Another idol member will be joining the cast list. Filming officially begins next week.”

Gong Yoo, Lee Min Jung, and miss A’s Suzy confirmed for drama, ‘Big’

Gong Yoo, Lee Min Jung, and miss A‘s Suzy have been confirmed as the leads for the upcoming drama, ‘Big‘.

The drama ‘Big’ is written by the Hong sisters, who have written previous hit dramas like ‘The Greatest Love‘, ‘My Girlfriend is a Gumiho‘, and ‘You’re Beautiful‘.

Gong Yoo is returning to the TV screen after 5 years since his role in ‘Coffee Prince‘. He will playing the role of Seo Yoon Jae, a 30 year old man who comes to possess the soul of an 18 year old adolescent.

Lee Min Jung will be trapped in an absurd situation where her stern 30-year old fiance becomes an 18-year old. She’ll be marking her return to the small screen after 1 year since ‘Midas‘.

miss A’s Suzy will take part in the love triangle, who captures the heart of the 18-year old Seo Yoon Jae.

‘Big’ will air after KBS‘s ‘Love Rain‘ on June 4th. The actors and actresses will meet on April 14th and will proceed to do a script reading.

miss A’s Suzy gives Park Min Woo a kiss on the cheek?

Photos of miss A‘s Suzy giving actor Park Min Woo a peck on the cheeks have recently surfaced and gained much attention.

It turns out the photos are from Suzy’s upcoming cameo in the April 3rd episode of KBS‘s sitcom, ‘I Need a Fairy‘. In the 26th episode, Suzy appears as a ‘flower beauty’, who is an aspiring actress. Suzy showed off her wacky charm to 2H Entertainment’s president Cha Se Joo (played by Cha In Pyo) and his son, Gook Min (Park Min Woo).

In the stills, Suzy is seen collapsed in Park Min Woo’s embrace, in addition to giving him a peck on the cheek, leaving viewers hopeful of a loveline between the two.

A drama representative stated, “Although Suzy and Park Min Woo were shy and awkward at first, they showed off perfect team work when we began filming, and created fun scenes.”

Netizens responded, “The two look really good together” and “I can’t wait for the episode!”

miss A’s Suzy explains how she joined JYP Entertainment

On the April 2nd episode of MBC‘s ‘Come to Play‘, miss A‘s Suzy explained how she went to participate on an audition program and was cast under JYP Entertainment.

“I participated in the ‘Superstar K‘ audition when it was held in Gwangjoo and suddenly had the urge to use the restroom,” she said. “So I went and somehow attracted the attention of a JYP representative. I ended up having my audition next to the restroom.”

When asked which song she had sang, Suzy replied, “I sang a short portion of Younha‘s ‘Love‘.”

Meanwhile, other guests that appeared on this episode were 4minute‘s Sohyun, SISTAR‘s Hyorin, and Jo Gab Kyung.

miss A does the “rabbit dance” on ’1000 Songs Challenge’

 

The four ladies of miss A recently performed the “rabbit dance” (aka shuffle dance), while passionately singing along to “Like an Indian Doll“.

miss A guested on the April 1st episode of SBS‘s ‘1000 Songs Challenge‘ along with other appearances by Kim Sung Soo, Hong Suk Chun, Park Il Joon, Han Hye Jin, Lee Young Beom, Hong Jin Young, Sun Woo Yong, and Sul Woon Do. The cast members were each divided into five teams and sang various songs. Whichever group received a score of over 92 points would take home the prize of a steam humidifier.

miss A took up the challenge and performed Nami‘s “Like an Indian Doll”. Each member had on retro sunglasses along with several fashion accessories in order to bring back Nami’s past image. The members respectively took turns singing and even pulled off a mini dance performance of the shuffle dance during the song.

The result came out to be 94 points and the girls shouted with joy as they won the steam humidifier.

Also on this episode, miss A’s Suzy surprised viewers with her hidden rapping skills as she rapped to Solid‘s hit song, “Soul Mates“.

miss A’s Suzy asks “When do you think the most about your first love?” on ’100 Million Won Quiz Show’

On the March 30th live broadcast of SBS‘s ‘100 Million Won Quiz Show‘, miss A‘s Suzy made a surprise screen appearance and had viewers reminisce their first love with a question.

The quiz question Suzy gave out was, ‘When do you think the most about your first love?‘

The two answer choices to the question were: 1.) When you see a person that resembles your first love, or 2.) When you hear the song that reminds you of that time.

While viewers began to text in their answers, 2AM‘s Jo Kwon answered, “I think the answer is #2. The song that reminds me of my first love is ’Drunken Truth‘. Whenever I hear that song, it reminds me of all the memories that took place and the things I worried about at that time.”

Fellow 2AM member Jinwoon replied, “Rather than saying that she looked like specific person, my first love had long straight hair without double-eyelids and a high nose bridge.”

Upon hearing Jinwoon’s answer, comedian Byun Ki Soo, who happened to have on a long-haired wig, approached the singer and caused viewers to roar into laughter when he asked, “Long, straight hair without double-eyelids and a high nose bridge is me. Your first love looked like me?”

Meanwhile, the correct answer was revealed to be #2, ‘When you hear the song that reminds you of that time’.

miss A’s Suzy reveals her favorite and least favorite members on ’1 Night 2 Days’

Singer Kim Jong Min was a bit disappointed by miss A Suzy‘s personal taste when it comes to the members of ’1N2D’.

On the March 25th broadcast of KBS2‘s ‘1Night 2Days Season 2‘, the second part of the Kangwon-do expedition was aired. Comedian Lee Soo Geun stated, “I should call Suzy. I’m her absolute ideal type,” causing envy in the other members.

Suzy didn’t answer the first call, however, causing Lee Soo Geun to stare at his phone and ask, “Suzy, are you unable to answer the phone right now?”

When he redialed her number, Suzy answered and was asked a few hilarious questions. She was asked who she liked the most out of the seven members, and Suzy confessed that she most liked actor Cha Tae Hyun. Suzy was also asked, “Which person is a definite no?”, to which she replied, “Jong Min,” drawing much laughter from the members.

Disappointed, Kim Jong Min responded, “Not even Jong Min oppa, how can you just say Jong Min?” Suzy quickly explained her reasoning, stating, “Because he doesn’t speak well, I don’t think we would have very good conversations.”

miss A’s Suzy reveals she’s taller than what her profile states

Although celebrity profiles have the tendency to exaggerate by listing a taller height than reality, it seems miss A‘s Suzy‘s case is the opposite. Suzy, one of the taller members of the group, revealed her actual height.

During a recent recording of MBC Everyone’s ‘Weekly Idol‘, Suzy claimed, “I’m actually taller than the 166cm height revealed on my online profile. My current height is actually 168cm (5 ft. 6″)“.

When she was asked about her ‘King Foot’ nickname, Suzy also surprised the guests as revealed her foot size to be 249.9cm (9.8 inches).

miss A has revealed that they will be making a cameo appearance in KBS‘s ‘Dream High 2‘!

The girls will be starring as themselves, a popular idol group, that visits Girin Arts High School to support the super idol’s stage. Suzy especially has been busy with promotions for her new movie on top of miss A’s activities, so her act of loyalty to the drama’s staff and stars is one that fans will surely be looking forward to.

miss A’s Suzy experiences 90′s technology for the first time for her new movie ‘Introduction to Architecture’

miss A‘s Suzy is fascinated with the trends of the 1990′s.

On March 13th, Suzy attended a press screening for her new movie ‘Introduction to Architecture‘.

Her role will be a student in the 1990′s and in regards to experiencing 90′s trends for the very first time, Suzy who was born in 1994 remarked, “I was shocked when I first experienced the culture of the 90′s. I saw a pager for the very first time, and I also used a CD player for the first time as well.”

And showing affection for her co-star Lee Jae Hoon, she also said, “I only hope that my first love would be as kind and thoughtful as Lee Jae Hoon.”

The movie follows the love story of an architecture student (Uhm Tae Woong) who meets a student majoring in music (Han Ga In) during an ‘Introduction to Architecture’ class. He falls head over heels in love with her, and the experience turns into a memory of his first love.

Many years later, the student becomes an official architect and meets his first love again when she visits his office as a client. Suzy and Lee Je Hoon will be playing the younger versions of the two main leads.

The movie hits the big screens in Korea on March 22nd.

C-Real poses backstage with miss A

An adorable group photo taken between miss A and junior girl group C-Real has been making its round on the internet!

Taken backstage at SBS‘ Inkigayo on March 10th, C-Real was revealed to have set about promoting their comeback album, “Joma Joma“, by giving away copies to their seniors as an act of respect. This is normal tradition for rookie groups. It’s interesting to see two groups from different spectrums come together for a photo like this.

Netizens were quick to notice that everyone blended in well, especially with Suzy‘s cute charms making her look like she could join the aegyo filled concept of C-Real at any given time.

It’s that time of the year again where clothing brands roll out their new spring lines featuring their endorsement idols. This time, ‘Edwin‘ has released two new photos of their spring line featuring miss A and 2PM‘s Nichkhun.

As characteristic of the brand, they’re pictured in casual styles that are just warm enough to bid winter farewell but light enough to welcome the warm spring weather. The two specific concepts for the photoshoot included ‘New Urban Style’ and ‘New Look’, which staff thought the girls and Nichkhun pulled off to a T with their modern images.

‘Edwin’ can certainly look forward to another season of fresh success with their stylish 2012 advertisement campaign.

miss A’s Suzy criticized for continuously mentioning Kim Soo Hyun

miss A‘s Suzy recently responded to netizens after being criticized for always mentioning actor Kim Soo Hyun on television.

On March 2nd, Suzy simply wrote “Script” on her Twitter. The meaning behind this short tweet was a response to what happened on the March 2nd live broadcast of SBS‘s ‘100 Million Quiz Show‘.

During the live broadcast, one of the quiz questions on the show was related to cell phones. MC Kim Yong Man then asked Suzy, who appeared as a guest, “Is there a celebrity whom you want to have a couple cell phone with?” to which Suzy replied, “Before, I was happy just knowing that I had the same cell phone as Kim Dong Won. Now, I’d like to have a couple cell phone with the popular King.”

The “King” Suzy was referring to was none other than Kim Soo Hyun from MBC‘s drama ‘The Moon that Embraces the Sun‘.

Although it was only a brief conversation, netizens criticized Suzy for continuously mentioning the handsome actor. “Suzy sure mentions him a lot these days“, and “Are they really not in some sort of relationship?” netizens commented

Once netizens began flooding online community boards with comments regarding her and Kim Soo Hyun, Suzy ended up making the one-word post “Script“, meaning that it was all scripted, onto her Twitter.

After seeing her tweet, Netizens replied, “Because the two are very popular lately, it seems like broadcast stations also wanted to mention the two“, “Suzy must be tired of all these criticizms“, and “Then is Suzy blaming the PD of the program?”

miss A’s Suzy causes laughter with her exam answers on ‘Invincible Youth 2′

Earlier we reported that Sunny had been named ‘Best Brain Idol’ on the upcoming episode of ‘Invincible Youth 2′. Although Sunny may have been the brainiac in the cast, it was miss A‘s Suzy who brought the most laughs with her answers on the ‘Foundations Skills Assessment’ exam.

On the episode that will air on March 3rd, the members were handed out exams containing questions that appear on elementary school academic standards exams. Suzy made the members and staff laugh with her ridiculous answers, which were also very wrong.

In the fill-in-the-blank section titled “100 Great People Who Made Korea Shine”, instead of writing “Saint Wonhyo’s Skull Water” and “Sea’s Prince Jang Bo Go,” she wrote “Court Monk Skull Water”, and “Sea’s Prince Park Myung Soo.”

Although the other cast members had high hopes for her since she is the only member currently attending high school, she didn’t meet up to their high expectations. However, she made up for her performance with her hilarious answers, and brought laughter on set.

miss A’s Suzy reflects on her ‘Dream High’ kiss with Kim Soo Hyun

miss A‘s Suzy admitted that she was extremely nervous for her kiss scene with Kim Soo Hyun.

During the most recent recording for an episode of SBS ‘Strong Heart‘, miss A’s Suzy remarked, “I’m still under age, but I’ve already filmed four kiss scenes. I was most nervous for my ‘Dream High‘ kiss scene with Kim Soo Hyun.”

The four young men that Suzy kissed were 2PM‘s Taecyeon, 2PM’s Wooyoung, actor Lee Jae Hoon, and actor Kim Soo Hyun. “Kim Soo Hyun taught me the right angle for the bus kiss scene, and so we pulled it off easily.”

“Kim Soo Hyun and I text on a regular basis,” she added. “Kim Soo Hyun who is currently filming ‘Moon-Sun‘ texts using ancient historical Korean,” she said, causing everyone to laugh.

This particular recording of ‘Strong Heart’ was a ‘KPOP STAR’ special, for which miss A’s Min, Se7en, Park Eun Hye, Park Kyung Lim, Girls’ Generation member Seohyun, and more were present.

miss A member Suzy showed her appreciation to the fans who gifted her with a specially prepared lunch.

On February 24th, Suzy posted the above photo and following message on twitter, “미짱이 미짱이 미짱이 (Mi jang-e Mi jang-e Mi jang-e) is good, Say A is good. Gaining strength pow pow pow, it’s so delicious, the best.”

In the photo, Suzy can be seen with a spoon in her mouth and above her in the bubble chat are the words: “Our fans are the greatest greatest seuleung.”

Upon seeing the photo netizens commented, “It’s not fair that Suzy is so Pretty!” and “Adorable“.

Miss A member Suzy‘s selca after the group’s comeback stage has recently been sparked attention.

Suzy uploaded a photo to her Twitter on February 24th, with the caption “With a Miss A pen after today’s comeback stage~ I had so much energy today thanks to the fans who came. Ping“.

Miss A had a dramatic comeback with their new song “Touch“, on yesterday’s broadcast of ‘Mnet Countdown‘.

Suzy is seen staring at the camera, making a cute “chu” (puckered lips) face while holding a purple pen with a ribbon on it.  Her cute expression fits perfectly to her more edgy look.  Her hair, which has blonde highlights, and her blue irises, from the lenses she is wearing, amped up her usually more simple style.

miss A’s Suzy ate six meals a day while filming her movie

miss A‘s Suzy shared a secret about working on a movie set for the first time.

On the 13th, Suzy attended the press conference for her upcoming movie “Introduction to Architecture” where she confessed, “I ate six meals a day while filming for the movie.”

Uhm Tae Woong said, “I never saw her, but the staff told me she ate the most out of all idols. Since she maintains her body very well, I can’t tell if she’s just like that naturally or she works hard to take care of herself.”

Suzy said, “I just ate whenever I was hungry, but the director questioned me for eating six meals a day.”

Director Lee Yong Ju said, “Ga In and Jae Hoon ate more than even Jae Hoon and Tae Woong did. It didn’t interfere with the filming… I just thought this is how much actresses really ate.”

This melodrama is about a couple that met during an Intro to Architecture class and rekindled their love 15 years later.
