miss A tweets their support for Baek Ah Yeon’s debut

miss A members Fei, Jia, and Suzy recently took to Twitter to show their support for labelmate Baek Ah Yeon, who’ll be releasing her debut album on the 10th.

On September 9th, Suzy was the first to tweet, “Together with Ah Yeon unnie, who has a beautiful voice and is about to make her debut soon. with BAEK**.”

miss A’s Min enjoys a day of shopping in Tokyo with fellow JYP ladies

The ladies of JYP Entertainment treated themselves to a day of shopping in Tokyo.

On August 20th, miss A‘s Min tweeted the above picture along with the message: “Shopping Time in Tokyo!!!!!!”

The photo shows Min posing with fellow members Jia and Fei as well as Wonder Girls‘ Lim and Yubin. They all captured the viewers’ eyes with their stylish fashion. Jia looked sexy in her shorts and red stockings, Lim looked cute in a boxy dress, Min sported a colorful shirt and sunglasses, Yubin looked chic with her black shirt and ripped jeans, and Fei showed off her fashion sense with a simple shirt and jean shorts. Netizens are saying that they were able to get a glimpse of each idol’s personality after seeing their outfits.

2PM’s Junsu snaps a photo with his agency mates at JYP NATION concert

2PM‘s Junsu recently posted a photograph he took with Sohee, Yubin and Fei backstage at the JYP NATION concert.

On his twitter, the 2PM member posted the words, “With Fei, Yubin and Sohee before the ‘Kiss’ performance! Jia was getting ready. Yubin’s eyes are alluring.”

In the photo, ladies man Junsu had his arms around Yubin and Sohee, while Yubin struck a fierce pose using Junsu’s shoulder as support. Their captivating fashion could not be overlooked either. Junsu rocked a red suit displaying his masculine side while the JYP girls wore tight leather dresses that accentuated their figures.

miss A‘s Jia expressed that she wanted to do a bit of shopping.

She tweeted a photo of herself and member Fei along with the message, “I wanna go shopping,” on June 26th.

In the revealed photo, Jia is seen wearing a cute, short-sleeved t-shirt while making a silly, sullen expression. Fei, on the other hand, is wearing a green dress, while smiling for the camera. Both girls were noticed for their beautiful, wavy hairstyles and perfect, clear skin, which quickly captured the eyes of netizens.

miss A‘s Fei shared a selca of herself and member Min looking a bit unenthusiastic before a plane ride.

Fei tweeted on June 12, “Good morning,” along with the photo above.

The two members pulled chic expressions while they held up peace signs for the camera, and fans are noticing that they definitely don’t seem super excited about traveling that morning.

miss A makes an elegant transformation for fashion magazine ‘marie claire’

The ladies of miss A recently posed for the June issue of fashion magazine, marie claire.

Sporting some of today’s hottest fashion brands including Calvin Klein, Johnny Hates Jazz, Roberto Cavalli, Forever 21, Moschino, and more, the girls shed their youthful image and transformed into classy and elegant party-goers.

During their interview, member Suzy talked about how she feels more drawn to men who are genuine but can’t seem to express their true emotions, and also shared her long-term goals as an actress.

Fellow member Min revealed that she has recently gotten into poetry to get more in touch with her emotional side, and also opened up about her close relationship with her grandmother.

Fei admitted that despite her seemingly hard-to-approach exterior, she is soft at heart and gets hurt more easily than others assume. Like other girls, Fei admitted to enjoy shopping and also boasted about her culinary skills.

Jia revealed that her musical idol is none other than pop singer Rihanna, and that she has a passion to learn everything she can. Her next goal is to take a long vacation.

miss A‘s Fei has been selected as the new face for cosmetics brand CathyCat!

On May 16th, JYP Entertainment announced, “Fei, who is known for her feminine image and refined sexiness, has recently been selected as the new model for ‘CathyCat’. Through these advertisements, she will appeal with her sweet and innocent yet sexy charm.”

Fans were pleased by the announcement as miss A’s Suzy has also been actively modeling for the cosmetics brand TN.

JYPE further commented, “Through this CathyCat endorsement, Fei will reveal more of her various charms, which are different from what she has shown fans on stage. Please show her love and support.”

miss A prove their excellent fan service by eating together with their fans

The four ladies of miss A treated several of their fans (say A) to a meal at a restaurant.

On April 20th, Suzy uploaded the above photo of the gathering on Twitter and wrote, “Finally uploading the photo we took with our say A. Find miss A!”

The members are seen sitting together with their fans and enjoying a meal while quickly posing for the camera. Suzy, in particular, seems to be imitating comedian Shin Bora with both hands up in the air. The photo shows a lot of male fans and even a foreign fan, it seems everybody had a great time.

Netizens expressed their envy towards the fans that were in attendance commenting, “I wish I was there!“, “When was this?“, “Is Suzy imitating Shin Bora?” and “Lucky fans.”

miss A’s Jia and Fei cast in upcoming Korean-Chinese drama, ‘Happy Noodle’

miss A‘s Jia and Fei will be joining fellow members Suzy and Min in their acting ventures by making their own acting debuts!

The two have been cast in an upcoming Korean-Chinese collaboration drama titled ‘Happy Noodle’. Drama representatives explained, “Fei and Jia have been cast for ‘Happy Noodle’, a drama that is scheduled for broadcast in China. The members of miss A have high recognition in China and have been taking acting lessons for a while now so there are high expectations for their debut.”

‘Happy Noodle’ will take place in a famous Chinese noodle restaurant where hopefuls gather to become the greatest chef ever. The story will take place in China while the cast itself is made up of Korean or Korean speaking members.

The representative hinted, “Another idol member will be joining the cast list. Filming officially begins next week.”

Actors who forfeited leading male role in MBC’s ‘The King 2 Hearts’

MBC‘s new drama ‘The King 2 Hearts‘ which stars Ha Ji Won and Lee Seung Gi launched its first episode on March 21st and received an impressive TV rating of 16.2%. The drama grabbed first place in its time slot and did fairly better than its counterparts, SBS‘ ‘Rooftop Prince‘ and KBS‘ ‘Equator Man‘ which also broadcast their first episode on this day.

Lee Seung Gi and Ha Ji Won’s pairing definitely seems to have been effective, as high anticipation for the two brought in large views upon its very first broadcast. However, some interesting facts have been uncovered about the show. It just so happens that there were a line of top male actors who rejected the offer to play the role of Lee Jae Ha, which is currently being played by Lee Seung Gi.

The role was first offered to actors Lee Byung Hun and Won Bin, but was eventually turned down by both. Next, actor Cha Seung Won was pondering whether to star in ‘The King 2 Hearts’ or upcoming medical drama, ‘The 3rd Hospital‘, but ended up rejecting both projects.  Then, Jo In Sung was in the process of confirming his enrollment in “The King 2 Hearts” after his current movie, ‘Martial Arts of the Fist‘ had some delays with the shooting schedule. However, he forfeited the role at the end. Lee Jae Hoon was also given the chance to play the protagonist role in “The King 2 Hearts”, but instead took on a leading role in new SBS drama series, ‘Fashion King‘.

Producers, directors, and the actors and actresses themselves who have frequently experienced this sort of situation often remark at interviews and press conferences that, “Fate brings the cast and project together“.
In the end, it seemed as though fate had chosen Lee Seung Gi to play the leading role of Lee Jae Ha on ‘King 2 Hearts’ all along.

miss A’s Fei & Jia congratulate Joo on her casting in ‘Parade of Youth’ musical

miss A‘s Fei and Jia recently congratulated Joo on her musical casting on Twitter.

Fei tweeted, “We heard that Joo had her first performance in the musical ‘Parade of Youth‘. Congratulations Joo unni, and we promise to come see it when we have time! miss A is currently on a plane going to Shanghai, go go!”

She also posted a photo of herself and Jia looking chic in sunglasses for the camera. Fans are noticing that they made the same expression.

miss A’s Jia & Fei to perform at their school’s talent festival

It’s just been announced that miss A will be performing at the 2011 SAC Festival, a talent show from the students and faculty of the ‘Seoul Art Technical College’ (SAC).

SAC revealed on October 11th that miss A would be joining a fine list of performers on the 18th, which includes Huh Gak, musical actor Lee Gun Myung, singer ALi (who’s also a professor of applied musical arts at SAC), and professor of dramatic arts, Ryu Seung Ryong.

This performance is particularly significant to miss A because Fei and Jia are currently students at SAC under the dance arts department.

Other current professors at this prestigious school include Kim Yeon Woo (applied music),BMK (applied music), Kim Seh Hwang (applied music), and Jang So Young (musical) will be in attendance.
