Gong Yoo, Lee Min Jung, and miss A’s Suzy confirmed for drama, ‘Big’

Gong Yoo, Lee Min Jung, and miss A‘s Suzy have been confirmed as the leads for the upcoming drama, ‘Big‘.

The drama ‘Big’ is written by the Hong sisters, who have written previous hit dramas like ‘The Greatest Love‘, ‘My Girlfriend is a Gumiho‘, and ‘You’re Beautiful‘.

Gong Yoo is returning to the TV screen after 5 years since his role in ‘Coffee Prince‘. He will playing the role of Seo Yoon Jae, a 30 year old man who comes to possess the soul of an 18 year old adolescent.

Lee Min Jung will be trapped in an absurd situation where her stern 30-year old fiance becomes an 18-year old. She’ll be marking her return to the small screen after 1 year since ‘Midas‘.

miss A’s Suzy will take part in the love triangle, who captures the heart of the 18-year old Seo Yoon Jae.

‘Big’ will air after KBS‘s ‘Love Rain‘ on June 4th. The actors and actresses will meet on April 14th and will proceed to do a script reading.

Actress Lee Min Jung and ZE:A‘s Siwan revealed their newest CF for cosmetics brand Skin Food.

During the CF shoot, Lee Min Jung’s milky skin looked radiant against the green pasture, and her co-star for the shoot was none other than ‘flower boy’ Siwan.

The two were only awkward momentarily as once they became immersed in the acting, the two naturally gave off the feel of a real couple, drawing smiles from everyone on set.

On the March 18th broadcast of MBC‘s ‘Section TV Entertainment News‘, the production crew met with actress Lee Min Jung during her commercial shoot and had the opportunity to hold a brief interview.

Lee Min Jung flaunted her slim figure by wearing a slim, tube top dress during the recording however, viewers were taken aback after seeing her playing the guitar. As the actress decided to show off her hidden guitar skills while singing, viewers were given the illusion of Lee Min Jung naked as soon as she held the instrument.

Netizens commented, “That surprised me“, “Lee Min Jung is so skinny“, and “The broadcast immediately turned into an ‘adult only’ program.”

Lee Min Jung endorses LG’s ‘Tromm’

From movies to dramas, and now even the advertisement industry, there’s no sector that Lee Min Jung isn’t a part of thanks to her rising fame.

The actress has recently been selected as the 2012 endorsement model for LG‘s line of ‘Tromm‘ washing machines! A representative explained, “Lee Min Jung’s clean and bright image fits well with our ‘Tromm’ washers, which together creates a fresh look that makes her the perfect model.”

The advertisement shoot was held earlier this month, and it was completed in a positive, fun environment where Lee Min Jung joked around with staff and livened up the atmosphere with her fun presence.

2AM’s Jinwoon is a fanboy of Lee Min Jung

On a recent recording of SBS‘s ‘Strong Heart‘, 2AM‘s Jinwoon revealed that he was an avid fan of actress Lee Min Jung!

He revealed, “I’m a big fan of Lee Min Jung. Just looking at pictures of her endorsements makes my heart flutter.”

Fellow member Seulong confirmed the statement by adding, “One time, Jinwoon wanted to wear the contact lenses that Lee Min Jung was advertising so bad that he wished for his vision to get worse.”

Jinwoon continued, “I was able to meet her for the first time when she visited our concert.”

Leeteuk deletes tweets involving actress Lee Min Jung

Fans were upset with Super Junior‘s Leeteuk after he mentioned that his ideal woman was someone other than his on-air wife, Kang Sora.

On January 25th, the singer had tweeted, “With Lee Min Jung nuna“, and shared a photo from the 21st Seoul Music Awards that took place on the 19th.

He continued, “Lee Min Jung nuna personally handed me the Daesang award. I’ve seen her before on ‘Healing Camp‘. She is beautiful on the outside, but she also possesses a beautiful mind and has become my ideal woman.”

Outraged fans responded by mentioning Kang Sora’s name in their tweets, thus expressing that they felt Leeteuk was being disrespectful to his ‘We Got Married‘ spouse.

The idol later posted, “I think this photo with Lee Min Jung nuna is funny, is it not? I guess I can’t even say that I’m a fan of anyone anymore. I’m a Super Junior fan… is that better? Doesn’t matter, I’m used to being chewed out by everyone… I don’t care… I’ll live longer as a result…”

“Dreams can help you develop and grow, but delusion can cause harm to those around you,” he said. “There are so many delusional people these days… I guess the Internet isn’t always such a great tool after all.”

Lee Min Jung talks about a startling experience in Europe

Actress Lee Min Jung revealed a time where she was locked in a bathroom without clothes during a trip to Europe in her student days.

During a recent recording of SBS’s ‘Healing Camp‘, Lee Min Jung confessed, “When I was a student, I went on a trip to Europe where I experienced being locked in a bathroom, completely naked. At the time, I was overcome with a fear that was like something out of a horror movie. Throughout the whole trip, that was the moment that I used my English the most.”

She also revealed a story of how she had to spend 1 night and 2 days with drug criminals during her Europe trip.

Lee Min Jung reveals that she’s been cut from many dramas on Happy Sunday

On December 29th, popular actress Lee Min Jung was a guest on KBS’s ‘Happy Sunday‘ and surprised the audience by revealing that she’s been cut from many dramas even after passing the audition rounds.

She replied, “Before a drama began I’ve been cut many times.. I’d pass an audition but a few days later would get a call saying not to come out.. Three years ago, it happened around 2-3 times in the span of one year. I memorized the script and if there was a horse riding scene I practiced that and all the scenes, so I was so sad [to get the call] that I’d been cut. After that, I developed a habit of not revealing the drama before it got aired.”

Looks like even Lee Min Jung had a tough start in her career, so congratulations to her and all of her success.

Last month we reported that Lee Min Jung went to California to participate in a photoshoot for ‘Singles’ magazine.

Today, more photos were revealed showing a dark side to the innocent image normally associated with the celebrity. Perhaps the transformation was especially striking because she perfectly embodied the theme of the photoshoot which was ‘pain after a breakup’.
