Girl’s Generation’s Taeyeon chosen as the #1 ‘Blind Date Girl’

On a poll for Y-STAR‘s ‘Curious‘, 200 participants were asked which female they would most want to go on a blind date with. After all the votes were tallied, Girl’s Generation‘s powerful vocal leader Taeyeon was chosen as the number one female idol they would go on a blind date with.

One participant who voted for Taeyeon claimed, “If I was to be able to have a blind date with Taeyeon, I would even sell my house,” showing his loyalty towards the female idol.

Popular female artists such as Suzy, YoonA, and Hyorin were chosen as runner-ups on the poll. In addition, for the male idol, JYJ‘s Park Yoochun was crowned as number one male idol they would go on a blind date with.

The show is scheduled to air on August 26th.

J.Y. Park personally set up blind dates for the Wonder Girls

Producer J.Y. Park guest-featured on the April 30th broadcast of SBS ‘Healing Camp‘, and revealed that he encourages his artists to date, and he even personally set up blind dates for his girl group, Wonder Girls.

“The reason I do this is because I believe you can find balance between work and love,” he said.

When asked when he would do the same for his boy idol group 2PM, J.Y. Park let out a laugh as he said, “Probably around next year.”

MC Han Hae Jin then remarked, “The teenage fans probably will disapprove,” continuing the laughs on set.
