Who do Park Ji Min and other ‘K-Pop Star’ contestants want to work with after they debut?

Park Ji Min, the winner of ‘K-Pop Star‘, expressed that she wants to collaborate with Leessang‘s Gary in the future.

‘K-Pop Star’ contestants Park Ji Min, Lee Ha Yi, Baek Ah Yeon, and Michelle Lee guested on Park So Hyun‘s ‘Love Game‘ radio show on May 10th, and sang live for the first time since the reality program (Park Ji Min – “I’ll Be There‘, Michelle Lee – “One Night Only“, Lee Ha Yi – “Love“, Baek Ah Yeon – “I Miss You“).

DJ Park So Hyun asked the girls who they wanted to work with after their official debuts. Park Ji Min revealed that she hopes to collaborate with Leessang’s Gary, while Michelle Lee expressed her wish to work with Big Bang‘s Taeyang. Lee Ha Yi also wanted to work with another Big Bang member, T.O.P, and Baek Ah Yeon hoped that she’d have a chance to work with Lyn.

In addition, Lee Ha Yi guest featured on this same radio program back when ‘K-Pop Star’ was still going on, and promised that she would perform the “crab leg dance” if she ranked within the top 3. As she was the runner up, she ended up having to keep her promise on this week’s ‘Love Game’.

Lee Hyori apologizes for dissing Kim Jae Dong’s looks on ‘Healing Camp’

Lee Hyori apologized for talking about one of her close friends, Kim Jae Dong‘s looks.

On April 29th, Kim Jae Dong guest starred on Lee Hyori’s ‘You&I‘ and Lee Hyori officially apologized for recently putting down his looks.

Lee Hyori was referring to when she appeared on ‘Healing Camp‘ recently and talked about MC Kim Jae Dong’s looks. She had said, “Jae Dong oppa suits me and is close to my ideal type. But his looks are so not. When I meet guys I wonder, ‘What would it be like to kiss this person’, but I really can’t with Jae Dong oppa. I don’t even want to imagine” and embarrassed Kim Jae Dong.

On this week’s episode of ‘You&I’, Lee Hyori apologized to Kim Jae Dong by saying, “I want to take this time to apologize.” But her co-MC Jung Jae Hyung added, “Why are you apologizing. It’s not like you weren’t speaking the truth” and made the audience erupt in laughter.

Meanwhile, this week’s episode featured Kim Jae Dong performing Kim Kwang Suk‘s “Such Painful Love was not Love” (1994) with a guitar, and included other guests such as singers Lyn and Na Yoon Kwon.

The beautiful Lyn and the handsome men of Shinhwa gathered together to pose for a picture. While it has been about 14 years since Shinhwa’s debut, Lyn has had a comparable 12 years under her belt as well. Their close relationship was evident through their comfortable and comical poses.

Lyn’s “Let the rain fall” brings tears to listeners

 

Today, ballad singer Lyn released her latest single, “Let the Rain Fall.”

Her OST for MBC‘s drama ‘The Moon that Embraces the Sun‘, “Back in Time“, has topped the charts for more than a month.

Her new song was released in advance of her upcoming album and is topping various music charts already. “Let the Rain Fall” shows Lyn‘s special style of ballads and was composed by songwriter Sungje Hwang. In addition, Lyn wrote the lyrics herself, which tells a woman’s emotions after a heartbreak, a story which is sure to spark some tears in its listeners.

The netizens praised the song by commenting, “Listening to it on a rainy day is making me cry” and “If the pre-released song is this good, the album must be daebak!”

Super Junior’s Shindong & Sungmin transform into HyunA & Marilyn Monroe

Super Junior‘s Shindong and Sungmin have recently revealed a photo of them as seductively pretty… ladies?

The photo was uploaded on the 28th and has Shindong dressed up as 4minute‘s HyunA, whereas Sungmin transformed into Marilyn Monroe.

With long, wavy brunette wig and a bright red lipstick, Shindong pefectly imitated the 4minute idol. Sungmin, on the other hand, sports a blonde wig and even drew on a fake mole to perfectly reenact the iconic Marilyn.

The photo is part of this week’s hot issue corner of MBC’s ‘Music Show Champion‘ that is scheduled to air on February 28th at 7pm KST.

Netizens select Lee Hyori as the ‘Marilyn Monroe of Korea’

Singer Lee Hyori has triumphed top stars such as Kim Hae Soo and Han Chae Young to be crowned Korea’s ‘Marilyn Monroe‘.

The movie ‘My Week With Marilyn‘ is scheduled to hit the big screens in Korea towards the end of the month. To bring more awareness to the movie, a survey was recently held on a movie ticketing site asking viewers which sexy Korean star they felt could most effectively channel their inner Marilyn Monroe.

Although Lee Hyori was up against a lot of other talented and attractive contenders, she earned 36% of the votes to be crowned the overall winner.

It was a close race between Lee Hyori and sexy icon Kim Hae Soo, but a netizen who voted for Hyori explained, “Hyori has a rather glamorous figure, and is versatile, she can be mature, sexy, and cute.”

On top of being attractive, Hyori also has a down-to-earth personality and a charming smile which gave her an edge against Kim Hae Soo.

Following Kim Hae Soo was ‘mannequin figure’ Han Chae Young who placed 3rd, and 4minute‘s HyunA who placed 4th.

Meanwhile, the movie ‘My Week With Marilyn’ hits the big screens in Korea on leap day, February 29th.

Lyn snaps a friendly photo with 2AM’s Jinwoon

Singer Lyn revealed a friendly photo of herself taken with 2AM‘s maknae, Jinwoon.

On October 31st, Lyn tweeted, “2AM’s Jinwoon, who’s always respectful, dropped by my waiting room to say hi. He said that his second solo single will be released on November 16th! Jinwoon, who practices every day and tries his absolute best, fighting.”

She added, “It’s that feeling where you feel that you have an aunt and nephew relationship,” and uploaded the photo above.

In the attached photo, Lyn and Jinwoon are seen posing face to face as they smile for the camera. In particular, Jinwoon showed off his aegyo by pouting his lips in an adorable, yet oddly seductive way.
