Jung Hyung Don is Psy’s Doppelganger?

Gagman Jung Hyung Don has perfectly transformed to ‘Beijing Psy’.

On the ‘Infinity Challenge‘ aired on the 8th, the first part of ‘As I promised’ episode was broadcasted as a sequel of last month’s ‘As I Said’ episode. In order to make a parody of the “Gangnam Style” music video at a museum in Beijing, Jung Hyung Don dressed up as Psy and surprised everyone with his similarity to the singer.

HaHa, who took on the role of a producer, made a 8:2 part in Hyung Don’s hair and combed the hair back with plenty of mousse. He even made him wear a suit and sunglasses just like Psy.

Beijing Team, made up of Jung Hyung Don, HaHa, Defconn, Noh Hong Chul, was given the mission to eat jjajangmyun at the Great Wall of China and film ‘Beijing Style’. The opposing team made up of Jung Joon Ho, Yoo Jae Suk, Park Myung Soo, and Gil had to visit Dokdo Island and serve cold bean-soup noodles and radish noodles and make a music video for ’Dokdo Style’.

However, the plans for Dokdo Island was forced to be pushed back due to the Typhoon Bolaven. Even though they could not go to the island, the cast promised within themselves to visit later and turned back.

‘Beijing Style’ segment begins at 50:02

‘Infinity Challenge’ pokes fun at T-ara scandal and Olympic fencing?

The weekend MBC variety show ‘Infinity Challenge’ has long been known for its sharp wit and sideways references to social issues, and the latest episode was no exception as the show made quick passing remarks towards both the T-ara incident and the Olympic fencing controversy.

Midway during the program, cast member Noh Hong Chul grew visibly frustrated during a ‘speed quiz’ segment, and the caption remarked “only one second passed…you can slow down”. This is a reference to the incident during the 2012 London Olympics where South Korean fencing contestant, Shin Ah Lam, was attacked by her opponent repeatedly during a period when the timer was momentarily stopped with one second left on the clock.

In another segment, team leader Jung Jun Ha attempted to push Defconn to the other team, but met with fierce resistance along with the caption “hanging on with determination”. ‘Determination’ has become a buzzword of sorts following the tweets by the T-ara members which started the entire controversy.

One sunbae group they met backstage while preparing for the show was INFINITE. Defconn tweeted, “One shot with INFINITE sunbae, whom we’ve met after a long while!! It turns out they’ve already listened to our songs! They said they really enjoyed them and encouraged us to work hard,” while sharing the picture above.

SHINee members reveal Key’s drinking habits

SHINee revealed their drinking habits on air.

On the upcoming episode MBC‘s ‘Weekly Idol‘, the boys of SHINee featured as guests and each members’ profile was thoroughly dissected on the show. However, the topic that seemed to have garnered the most interest was the topic of the members’ drinking habits.

Key revealed the first story about fellow member Onew‘s drinking habits that surfaced at a company dinner. Onew then retaliated by revealing, “Key becomes prettier and full of aegyo whenever he drinks alcohol.”

When MC Defconn asked, “Are the aegyo Key shows to guys and girls different?“, all of the SHINee members answered, “We don’t really know..Whenever Key goes to meet girls, he doesn’t take people who could be his rivals.”

However, rather than becoming flustered at his fellow members’ accusations, Key wittily avoided a potentially awkward situation by going head-to-head in a battle of cuteness with Jung Hyung Don, which had the entire studio in laughter.

Catch the full episode when it airs on May 2nd!
