Skarf’s Singaporean members Tasha and Ferlyn adjusting well to life in Korea

As previously revealed, rookie girl group Skarf is made up of two Korean and two Singaporean members. Representatives of the girls thought to update new fans on how the Singaporean members were adjusting to life in Korea by revealing that they were actually well versed in the culture.

On August 21st, representatives stated, “Tasha and Ferlyn have a lot of interest in Korean culture. On Sol‘s birthday, the two personally looked up a recipe for seaweed soup and surprised her with a birthday meal. It touched everyone.”

At their debut showcase, reporters thought it hard to believe that it had only been a year since Tasha and Ferlyn came to Korea since they were fluent in the language to the point where they were even joking around with the MC in Korean on stage.

Representatives continued, “The two were chosen through an audition, but grew their love for Korea by listening to K-Pop in Singapore. When they came to Korea to debut as Skarf, they studied the Korean language diligently rather than speaking in their native language to get to where they are now.”

Tiger JK talks about his son’s rapid growth spurt

Hip-hop legend Tiger JK briefly discussed his five-year old son, Jordan, on the latest broadcast of SBS‘s ‘You & I‘.

On the July 15th episode, the rapper was asked how his son was doing, to which he replied, “He’s as big as a middle school student. He’s almost the same height as Yoon Mi Rae (Tasha),” surprising the hosts.

“Whenever he sees me on television, he immediately turns it off saying that he doesn’t want to see me on TV. I think it’s because he realizes that I’m not able to be with him due to my work.”

He then shared a bit of Jordan’s personality saying, “Jordan is egoistic so he loves being on TV and loves anything that has a picture of himself,” causing the audience to laugh.

Meanwhile, Wonder Girls‘ Yubin also participated in this episode and performed a collaboration stage performance with Tiger JK.

Tiger JK expresses his desire to work with Wonder Girls’ Yubin + selects Big Bang’s Taeyang for his wife

Hip-hop legend Tiger JK selected Wonder Girls‘ Yubin as the musician he’d like to work with.

During the June 18th broadcast of Mnet‘s ‘vol. TEN‘, Tiger JK selected Wonder Girls’ sexy rapper, Yubin, and explained, “If I work with Yubin, I believe we could make a ground-breaking and sensational work together.”

In addition, he recommended Big Bang‘s Taeyang as a suitable collaboration partner for his wife, Tasha (Yoon Mi Rae).

To this, MC Yoo Young Suk commented, “I think Tiger JK would be a good matchmaker. I also believe Tasha and Taeyang would make a great collaboration.”

Meanwhile, this week’s episode of ‘vol. TEN‘ is a part two continuation of last week’s special hip hop edition.

Tiger JK reveals wife Yoon Mirae will soon be making her US debut

Tiger JK revealed that his wife Yoon Mirae (Tasha) would be breaking into the American market soon.

On the May 17th broadcast of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Happy Together 3‘, Tiger JK proudly remarked, “Mirae will be debuting in the U.S. soon, and I think it will be daebak.”

“She received a love call from Far*East Movement who hit #1 on the Billboard charts and she will be advancing into the American market soon,” he explained, surprising the MCs.

“I asked if I could join them, but Mirae said she would prefer to do it alone,” he added.

He continued, “America only wanted Mirae,” causing everyone to explode into laughter.
