Skarf’s Singaporean members Tasha and Ferlyn adjusting well to life in Korea

As previously revealed, rookie girl group Skarf is made up of two Korean and two Singaporean members. Representatives of the girls thought to update new fans on how the Singaporean members were adjusting to life in Korea by revealing that they were actually well versed in the culture.

On August 21st, representatives stated, Tasha and Ferlyn have a lot of interest in Korean culture. On Sol‘s birthday, the two personally looked up a recipe for seaweed soup and surprised her with a birthday meal. It touched everyone.”

At their debut showcase, reporters thought it hard to believe that it had only been a year since Tasha and Ferlyn came to Korea since they were fluent in the language to the point where they were even joking around with the MC in Korean on stage.

Representatives continued, “The two were chosen through an audition, but grew their love for Korea by listening to K-Pop in Singapore. When they came to Korea to debut as Skarf, they studied the Korean language diligently rather than speaking in their native language to get to where they are now.”

Skarf concludes guerrilla street events with success

Yesterday, it was revealed that Skarf had taken to the streets of Korea to promote their debut by helping people beat the heat with special promotional fans.

The girls have brought their guerrilla event to a successful conclusion with high praise from everyone who got to be a part of it! Despite the fact that they are rookies who debuted not even a week ago, the girls managed to attract a large audience on every street they visited.

Passerbys stopped to stare and even show their support with cheers as the girls walked around wearing ‘We’re your Skarf’ banners wrapped around their outfits. The girls even thought to put on extra performances of their debut track “Oh! Dance” along with some dance routines to thank everyone for their support. Needless to say, the event was a big hit, as all eyes were on them with cheers that could be heard miles away.

Some had even recognized the girls and asked for autographs on the spot while nearby stores began playing their title track as added promotion.

Skarf’s agency gratefully stated, “The girls were thankful to everyone for showing such interest in them despite the hot weather and for helping them create memories they’ll never forget. Through your support, the girls will work hard to repay the love they’ve received with a better image.”

Skarf helps people beat the heat by handing out promotional fans on the streets

Rookie Korean-Singaporean girl group Skarf has decided to take it upon themselves to promote their debut by setting out the streets of Korea!

On August 18th and 19th, the girls walked around the streets of Daejun, Daegu, Busan, and Gwangju where they personally met with passerbys and greeted them for the first time outside their broadcast studios. As it’s rare for an idol to do this, people definitely took a notice to the girls.

The four members handed out paper fans with their images printed on them as a way to both promote their name and help people beat the summer heat.

Alpha Entertainment Korea expressed, “The members were really eager to meet everyone and greet them first hand so we decided to take their opinions into account and create a promotional activity where they can get out there themselves. It’s a great opportunity to see the passionate, young girls up close.”

Skarf will be continuing the promotion through Seoul, while simultaneously promoting their debut track, “Oh! Dance“.
