UEE chooses Park Tae Hwan as the athlete she’d most like to meet





On the 25th episode of MBC TV‘s ‘Quiz to Change the World‘, After School‘s UEE chose Olympic swimmer Park Tae Hwan as the athlete she’d most like to meet.


When asked if there was a star she desired to meet, the girl group member expressed, “I’m not sure if many of you know, but I used to be a swimmer. Park Tae Hwan’s initial disqualification [at the Olympics] was heartbreaking, so I want to comfort him.


In reply to UEE’s statement the MCs jokingly asked, “Is that the only reason?” to which UEE shyly responded, “I’d really like to meet him.

SISTAR’s Bora to help host ‘Quiz that Changes the World’ as special MC





Following 2AM‘s Jo Kwon and After School‘s UEE, SISTAR‘s Bora has been selected as the next special MC for MBC‘s ‘Quiz That Changes the World‘.


On August 15th, Starship Entertainment informed Sports Korea through a phone call, “Bora was given the opportunity to become the special MC on ‘Quiz That Changes the World’.” The singer concluded a successful recording for the program on August 9th, alongside original hosts Park Mi Sun and Lee Hwi Jae.


‘Quiz That Changes the World’ will be including a new special MC each week onto its program for a more lively and energetic show. The program has revealed that the addition of special MCs is not to replace former host Kim Gu Ra.

D-Unit’s Wooram reveals that she doesn’t keep in touch with sister T-ara’s Boram





Rookie girl group trio D-Unit guested on the latest recording of MBC‘s ‘Quiz That Changes the World‘ and showed off their variety talents.


The girls kicked off with a performance of their new track, “I’m Missing You“, and went into individual talents like Wooram‘s vocal imitation of Ahn Sung Daek. The panel showed special interest in Wooram for being the daughter of veteran signer Jun Young Rok as well as the younger sister of T-ara‘s Boram.


Wooram revealed, “My unni advised me that I should always be rehearsing, preparing, and working hard because I’m a rookie. I’ll be doing my best here today.” When asked if they kept in contact often, she replied to the amusement of the panel, “We actually don’t. Unni doesn’t pick up her phone. When I have something important I need to ask, she puts me in quite the predicament by not answering her phone.”

December’s DK selects T-ara’s Jiyeon as his ideal type





Talented male vocal duo December‘s DK has caught the attention of many viewers for selecting T-ara‘s Jiyeon as his ideal type.


On the August 4th broadcast of MBC‘s ‘Quiz to Change the World‘, the singer clarified rumors of dating after he was recently caught spending the evening with an unknown girl. He explained, “The girl in the photo is just a hoobae (junior) in my agency. My manager must have secretly taken the photo.”


DK was then asked to reveal who his ideal type was to which he surprisingly confessed, “Yoon Hyuk and I really liked Jiyeon for a long time.”


Upon hearing his answer, Jiyeon, who also happened to guest on this episode, was unable to hide her smile. She returned the singer with compliments saying, “[DK] is very good at singing and is also very handsome.”


Meanwhile, December is actively promoting their latest single ‘Unfinished‘ by appearing on various broadcast programs.

G.NA talks about her ideal man





On the June 16th broadcast of MBC‘s ‘Quiz That Changes The World‘, singer G.NA revealed her ideal type of man.


G.NA shockingly stated, “I am the type who is more attracted to bad boys than nice boys. I feel like if he is too nice, there will be a lot of girls around him, which is why I am more attracted to bad boys.


Upon hearing G.NA’s confession, Ahn Moon Sook also revealed, “I am also more attracted to bad boys“.


To these two young women’s confessions, the older and more mature MC Park Mi Sun and Lee Kyung Shil gave their wise words. Park Mi Sun stated, “Bad boys are like unhealthy food. It may taste good, but it isn’t good for you“, to which Lee Kyung Shil added, “As time passes by, you will realize the preciousness of nice boys“.


In related news, G.NA, Yoo Hyun Sang, Huh Gak, Son Jin Young, Sean Lee, and MYNAME‘s Gunwoo showed off their volubility in this broadcast of ‘Quiz That Changes The World’.

Girl’s Day Minah reveals her ideal date






Popular girl group Girl’s Day member Minah recently shared her thoughts about an ideal date.


The singer and fellow member Yura guested on the May 26th episode of MBC’s ‘Quiz that Changes the World‘ along with other guests such as Kim Boo Sun, Lim Sung Min, Park Myung Soo, Kim Kyung Jin, and Ahn Mun Sook.


During the program, the singer was asked what she wants to do the most now that she has turned 20 years old. To this, she shyly answered, “Now that I’m 20 years old, I want to start dating.”


The emcees then asked her about her dream date to which she replied, “I want to walk around a fountain of water at night with my boyfriend and have a conversation with him.”


In addition, Minah showed off her acting skills by impersonating actress Kim Young Ae from the drama ‘The Moon That Embraces The Sun‘ on the same episode, and caused the set to break out into laughter.

Noel’s Kang Yoon Sung reveals the difficult past he had with JYP Entertainment





Male vocal group Noel‘s Kang Yoon Sung recently shared the difficult times he had gone through at the time of Noel’s 3rd album release.


The singer guested on the April 21st broadcast of MBC‘s ‘Quiz That Changes the World‘ and revealed his difficult past. “Back in 2006, I signed a solo contract with JYP Entertainment, but it quicky ended up as if it didn’t exist. Noel wasn’t doing well at the time, so the idea of me releasing a solo album was taken negatively from the public.”


He continued, “I was hurt knowing that the contract was handed over to a different company. However, I believe that Jinyoung hyung didn’t make a bad decision.” When asked whether he still keeps in touch with J.Y. Park, the singer sternly denied.


Others that guested on this week’s episode were Hwang Soo Kwan, Jo Kyung Hwan, Lee Gae In, Ko Young Wook, and more.
