After School’s Lizzy researches facial expressions by watching adult films?

In a classic case of the “for science!” excuse, After School‘s Lizzy recently revealed that one of her methods of learning facial expressions was by watching adult films.

On a recent broadcast of the radio show ‘Boom’s Young Street’, radio DJ Boom asked, “Your title track “Flashback” is a sexy concept. Wasn’t that hard for our Lizzy, who has always been cute?”

“It was very stressful to try to be sexy when I’m not,” Lizzy confessed. “So I asked UEE unnie what I should do to be more sexy, and she told me to think about perverted thoughts. So I watched many adult films.”

Boom then followed up by asking if it actually worked, to which Lizzy replied, “But I found I just couldn’t do those kinds of expressions onstage, and you’re not supposed to. So I turned off the lights off at night and practiced by myself.”

Her story garnered different reactions from listeners, with one pointing out that “she has been trolled by UEE“, while another said – more straightforwardly – “Lizzy is so cute”.

Who are K-pop’s leggiest idols?

The latest segment of MBC TV Entertainment revealed the measurements of various long-legged idols and actresses in today’s Korean entertainment world, with none other than actress Kang Sora coming out on top with legs spanning 105~107 cm.

As expected in an industry that focuses on one’s appearance and beauty, female idols often show off their long legs in outfits that will flatter these assets, such as dresses with slits and shorts.

The segment noted that idol groups often have a signature member with an iconic face and glamorous body, and dubbed the Top 3 to be the Wonder Girls‘ fashionista Sohee, 2NE1‘s power vocal Park Bom, and After School‘s bagel girl UEE.

Even when wearing flat shoes in lieu of heels, these ladies can still draw eyes to their long and shapely legs. For example, the Wonder Girls’ “Like This” promotions have been strikingly casual, yet Sohee’s legs are still as glamorous in sneakers. Park Bom’s latest promotional photo for 2NE1′s tour shows off her legs in a long dress with a daring slit on the side, giving a peek at her doll-like legs. UEE’s figure has also become well-known, even as part of a group whose members are all quite beautifully long-legged.

Aside from the Top 3 listed by MBC TV Entertainment, who do you think has the most beautiful legs on k-pop? We’d love to hear your suggestions!

Participant on ‘Hello’ struggles with her husband’s wish for her to be as slim as After School’s UEE

Vocalist Park Jung Hyun (Lena Park) and girl group f(x) guested on the June 25th episode of KBS‘s ‘Hello‘ to listen to the concerns of the participants.

The participant revealed, ”I used to weigh 75 kg, but I lost 30 kg for our wedding. However, in order for me to maintain my 46 kg, my husband doesn’t let me eat dinner anymore,” shocking and angering many audience members as well as the invited guests.

For the past six years, he has asked me, ‘How much do you weigh today?’ more than ‘I love you’.”

With the studio in shock, the husband was given a chance to explain, but he only further upset the females on set when he stated, “I’m doing it for my wife. When my wife was overweight, the sales people in stores wouldn’t even give her a glance, but when she dropped the weight, they all said she’s pretty.”

He continued, “I want to go out and eat delicious foods with her, but since I know that she’ll be suffering for the next few weeks, I don’t let her do so.” He then stated, “I hope my wife will become as slim as After School‘s UEE,” earning angry glances from the female audience members.

UEE to throw ceremonial first pitch at upcoming baseball game

UEE revealed her plans to make the ceremonial first pitch at an upcoming baseball game.

As UEE is the daughter of Nexen Heroes coach Kim Sung Gap, many baseball fans are focusing more on her pitch than they usually do when it comes to celebrity throws.

UEE commented, “There are plans for me to throw out the ceremonial first pitch. If I do throw out the first pitch, I will practice harder with my father.

Looking back on her experience in May of 2010 when she was unable to pitch at a Nexen Heroes and LG Twins game due to arriving late, she’s more determined this time around. She was late to the 2010 event due to scheduling conflicts as well as a minor vehicle collision. It was the first time a celebrity scheduled to throw the first pitch was unable to make it.

UEE continued, “I felt so bad for the disturbance I caused last time, so if I am given another opportunity, as my father’s daughter, I will practice really hard. To be honest, I haven’t been able to see my father much lately because of my promotions in Japan. My father’s team is doing really well these days, and he’s drinking herbal medicine to maintain his health. I hope that After School can take that strength and succeed too!

After School recently made a comeback after a year with their new single “Flashback“. The single has a strong electronic sound, fitting in well with After School’s powerful performance style. The album features the title track “Flashback” as well as a duet by Raina and Jung Ah and a solo track by Nana, among others.

The group has not only worked in Korea but also in Japan, America, and Sweden to complete the album. With the help of choreographer Kyle Hanagami, they were able to secure a power dance for their new track. People are saying that this is one of the best albums released by After School as it complements their sexy, classy, powerful, and tender charms.
