CNBLUE’s Minhyuk shares selcas to mark the end of ‘You Who Rolled In Unexpectedly’

CNBLUE‘s Minhyuk shared a few selcas on his Twitter account to mark the end of KBS‘s ‘You Who Rolled In Unexpectedly‘.

In the pictures, Minhyuk shared cuts with fellow actors Yoo Joon Sang, Kim Won Jun, and Kwak Dong Yeon, as well as a group shot with the other actors from the show.

He tweeted, “The 8-month shooting for ‘You Who Rolled In Unexpectedly’ has ended… I’m sad but it was a fun last showing! It’s too bad I couldn’t take pictures with each actor and staff member.. I love you all!“.

CNBLUE will be holding a concert in London in September. They will also begin promotions in Japan and also hold a concert there in October.

CNBLUE’s Jungshin reveals, “Yonghwa and Jonghyun share underwear”

CNBLUE‘s Lee Jungshin revealed Yonghwa and Jonghyun‘s ‘unique’ relationship.

On the September 6th broadcast of tvN‘s ‘Baek Ji Yeon’s People Inside‘, Jonghyun revealed that there were some small arguments that took place within the group because of things like tidiness and laundry.

“Yonghwa hyung and I are kind of messy, while the other two members are extremely neat,” Jonghyun said.

Jungshin then chimed in revealing a dorm secret saying, “Yonghwa hyung and Jonghyun hyung even shared underwear for two years,” causing everyone to burst out into laughter.

The boys then began to talk about their dreams, and Yonghwa stated that when he was young, his dream was to rank on the Billboard Charts. “We thought he was joking at first,” his fellow members said. “But he was being serious, and at one point, we realized that we needed to help him.”

CNBLUE reveals the member that acts differently around fans + member with the worst sleeping habits

CNBLUE‘s Minhyuk commented on leader Yonghwa‘s two personalities on the August 26th broadcast of MBC‘s ‘Section TV‘.

In the broadcast, the members jokingly picked on Yonghwa and explained that he acts differently in front of fans. Minhyuk stated, while cautiously keeping an eye out on Yonghwa’s reaction, “Yonghwa hyung is good at playing cool [in front of the fans]“, making the rest of the members laugh.

The members also revealed the member with the worst sleeping habits on the show. Yonghwa ratted out, “Jungshin complains out loud in his sleep“, drawing attention from fans.

Minhyuk is currently making a name for himself as an actor on ‘You Who Rolled in Unexpectedly‘, while Jungshin has landed a role on the upcoming drama ‘My Daughter Soyoung‘.

CNBLUE’s Minhyuk is charismatic in his latest pictorial for ‘Allure’

Pictures from CNBLUE Minhyuk‘s pictorial for ‘Allure‘ have been revealed.

Minhyuk, who has been receiving much love for his role as Cha Se Kwang on ‘You Who Rolled in Unexpectedly‘, showed a more serious and charismatic image which contrasts with the youthful and upbeat character he plays in his drama.

The singer turned actor has been showing his improved acting skills as well as his increasing masculine charms in the drama as his character falls deeper in love with Bang Mal Sook (played by Oh Yeon Seo). He expressed his thoughts on the drama’s main character Bang Gui Nam (played by Yoo Joon Sang), saying, “Bang Gui Nam is the closest to my image of a the ideal man. If I find a girl I like, I am confident that I will treat her even better than how Gui Nam treats Yoon Hee.”

He also discussed his thoughts on the importance of maintaining a strong bond within CNBLUE and focusing on music as he stated, “I don’t have intentions of breaking our band’s equilibrium for my fame.”

Past ‘M! Countdown’ hosts send congratulatory wreaths for the show’s 300th episode

Past MCs of ‘M! Countdown‘ have been gaining attention for the witty congratulatory wreaths they sent in for the celebration of the show’s 300th episode.

To start, M! Countdown’s first generation MC, TVXQ‘s Yunho, sent a wreath with a message saying, “U KNOW? It’s already M! Countdown’s 300th episode!” and proudly signed it, “I am the [show's] first generation MC, U-Know Yunho.”

The members of Super Junior who also hosted the program in the past sent their own humorous wreath using the lyrics to their song, “Sexy, Free & Single“. It read, “Run ’til you’re out of breath, So awesome, M! Countdown’s 300th episode.” The boys then signed it, “I am the pretty great MC, SuJu.”

And CNBLUE‘s Minhyuk who served as an MC back in 2010 sent a wreath and wrote, “Surpass the 300th episode and on to the 3,000th episode, GOGOGO,” and he signed his with, “Minhyuk who rolled in unexpectedly♥,” using the title of drama ‘You Who Rolled in Unexpectedly‘ where he is currently playing the role of Kim Nam Joo‘s younger brother Cha Sae Kwang.

Meanwhile, the artists who performed on the 300th episode special of ‘M! Countdown’ included BoA, Super Junior, B2ST,  Wooyoung, SISTAR, A Pink, Jang Jae In, Shin Yong Jae, Muzie, Juniel, B.A.P, Rhythm Power, A-JAX, D Unit, and Park Moo Jin.

Actress Oh Yeon Seo selects B2ST as her favorite idol group

Contrary to expectations, actress Oh Yeon Seo revealed that her favorite idol group is B2ST!

The actress participated in the latest recording of TV Chosun‘s ‘Entertainment in TV‘ and shared a few behind stories of her current drama.

As she is currently starring in KBS‘s ‘You Who Rolled in Unexpectedly‘, in which she becomes infatuated with CNBLUE‘s maknae Minhyuk, many had expected her favorite idol group to be CNBLUE. However, when asked about her favorite idol group, the actress released her inner fangirl mode, as she spoke about another boy group, B2ST.

“After listening to B2ST’s album, I really liked their songs so I set it as the background music on my Cyworld account,” she said. “Since they work in a different field from me, I find idols to be very attractive.”

Netizens commented, “I thought she’d select CNBLUE“, “She likes B2ST? Daebak”, and “It’s a ‘beautiful night’“.

CNBLUE’s Jungshin to make a cameo appearance on ‘You Who Rolled In Unexpectedly’

Much like Yonghwa who recently made a cameo in support of fellow member Jonghyun in ‘Gentlemen’s Class‘, CNBLUE‘s Jungshin will be making a cameo appearance on an episode of ‘You Who Rolled In Unexpectedly‘ to show his support for Minhyuk.

The staff member from the drama remarked, “While searching for someone with an unrealistically handsome appearance, we concluded Jungshin would be the perfect person for the role and made our request. It should be a fun episode, so please look forward to it.”

Jungshin, who has been busy with instrument practice, song composition, and even acting classes, said, “It is an honor to be able to play a role in a drama such as ‘You Who Rolled In Unexpectedly’, which is receiving a lot of love and support.”

He added, “Fellow member Minhyuk is in the drama so all the members watch it together during the weekends. I will do my best.”

Comedian Song Eun Ee reveals her ideal type to be CNBLUE’s Minhyuk

Comedian Song Eun Ee revealed her ideal type.

On the June 18th episode of MBC‘s ‘Come To Play‘, Song Eun Ee threw everyone off-guard by revealing her ideal type to be none other than CNBLUE‘s Minhyuk.

The MCs asked the members of ‘Infinite Girls‘ who guest-featured on the show, “Is it true that you guys are only friendly towards men?”

With the exception of Hwang Bo, everyone admitted that this was indeed the truth.

MC Kim Won Hee then began talking about actor Ji Hyun Woo who has until now been known to be Song Eun Ee’s ideal type, but the ‘Infinite Girls’ informed that her ideal type had changed.

“I met Ji Hyun Woo a few times,” Song Eun Ee said. She then evoked laughter by adding, “After seeing him a few times, I got over it.”

“Now I like CNBLUE’s Minhyuk!” she confessed, causing everyone on set to become dumbfounded. “You like someone who could be your son?” Hwangbo asked, displaying her disapproval, while panel member Eun Ji Won surprised Song Eun Ee with his expression filled with disbelief.

“Don’t look at me like that,” she said. But Eun Ji Won further evoked laughter on set by adding, “I just got goosebumps everywhere.”

The members of Infinite Girls continued to reveal, “Song Eun Ee said she wanted to take Minhyuk to the river, and she also wants to buy him a drum set,” causing MC Kim Won Hee to beg, “Let him go.”

Trying to explain herself, Song Eun Ee then remarked, “I’m just a fan, a die-hard fan. You can just think of me as an ahjumma fan!”

Looks like Minhyuk’s charms are truly irresistible.

CNBLUE’s drama series collectively draws in over 50% of viewer ratings

The members of CNBLUE proved that they too are multi-talented idol stars.

Kang Minhyuk and Lee Jonghyun who have taken on acting roles in KBS 2TV‘s ‘You Who Rolled In Unexpectedly‘ and SBS ‘Gentlemen’s Class‘ have collectively reeled in 50% of viewer ratings.

According to AGB Nielsen Media Research, ‘You Who Rolled In Unexpectedly’ which aired on June 17th drew in a total of 36.2% viewer ratings, while ‘Gentlemen’s Class’ drew in 16.6%, together totaling 52.8%.

Both dramas happen to air on the weekend, making CNBLUE fans squeal in delight as they can monitor both series back to back.

Minhyuk plays the role of Cha Sae Kwang, the younger brother of Kim Nam Joo in ‘You Who Rolled In Unexpectedly’, effortlessly pulling off the ‘bad boy’ image. He also displays his sense of humor interacting with actor Kwak Dong Yeon, and shows his more romantic side as he acts alongside Oh Yeon Seo.

Kang Minhyuk made his small-screen debut with SBS ‘It’s Okay, Daddy’s Girl‘ and also took on a role in MBC‘s ‘Heartstrings‘. He is earning praise for his stable and natural acting abilities, especially in his current drama series.

Fellow group member Lee Jong Hyun who first tried his hand at acting through film ‘Acoustic‘ alongside Minhyuk has made his own small-screen debut through ‘Gentlemen’s Class’. Jonghyun plays the role of 19 year old Colin who crosses over to Korea to find his father.

CNBLUE’s Minhyuk reveals why he can’t sit on people’s laps

CNBLUE‘s Minhyuk brought laughter to viewers as he confessed that he has an insecurity about his behind.

On June 7th, Minhyuk guest starred on KBS‘ ‘Happy Together 3‘ and discussed his insecurity by sharing, “I get a lot of stress for not having much of a butt.”

He added, “When I sit on people’s laps, they tell me not to because it hurts.”

The episode humored the viewers when Minhyuk proceeded to demonstrate by sitting on the laps of some of the MCs and other guests on the show, who started screaming as soon as he sat down.

Kang Minhyuk reveals why CNBLUE is a band and not a dance group

CNBLUE‘s Kang Minhyuk shared a surprising secret about his bandmates.

Drummer Minhyuk who is also receiving attention for his role in ‘You Who Rolled In Unexpectedly‘ recently guest-featured on KBS ‘Happy Together‘ and remarked, “There is a reason why CNBLUE is a rock band, instead of being a dance group.”

“It’s because we all can’t dance,” he admitted. “So I’ve actually never been to a club in my entire life, but I went recently to shoot a scene for the drama.”

“When the members and I get together, we just enjoy a few beverages, but we never go to clubs,” he continued.

The other guests then asked why he wasn’t dating, and Minhyuk answered, “I want to, but I can’t.”

The drummer also revealed that during his school days, he never had the experience of receiving any gifts or chocolates from girls on Valentine’s Day.

CNBLUE‘s Minhyuk, who’s currently starring as the womanizer ‘Cha Se Kwang’ on KBS‘s ‘You Who Rolled In Unexpectedly‘, has declared his love for Park Ha Sun in labelmate Juniel‘s title track music video.

New still cuts of the sweet couple interacting during the “Illa Illa” music video filming have been revealed. Despite being busy with her movie filming, Park Ha Sun spared time out of her schedule to team up with Minhyuk to show her support.

The two transformed into first loves to romantic background setting and reportedly showed excellent chemistry with each other, earning praise for every cut.

“Illa Illa” will be released on June 7th, which is also the day of Juniel’s showcase.

The revealed photos shows Minhyuk abandoning his cute little brother image and his signature eye smile to put on a bad boy vibe with his serious and deep gaze.

Playing the role of Cha Se Kwang on KBS‘ drama,’You Who Rolled In Unexpectedly‘, Minhyuk shared about his experience as an actor. “More than anything, I want to fall deep into the character and show various images.” However, he revealed that his true passion was music, as he stated, “My ultimate goal is to continue doing music with the members.”

CNBLUE reveals the kind of person member Minhyuk is in real life

CNBLUE‘s Kang Minhyuk may be a womanizer in the new weekend drama ‘You Who Rolled In Unexpectedly‘, but his fellow members say he couldn’t be more different in real life.

The members of CNBLUE described him as, “A guy I would introduce to my little sister,” and “Someone who accommodates to others’ needs,” adding that he does not have a single cheating bone in his body.

Kang Minhyuk had previously confessed, “Different from my character in the drama, I am only accommodating to others when I want to be. I wasn’t very popular when I was in school. I’m learning the secrets of being a player as I film this drama.”

Fellow bandmate Jungshin added that Minhyuk was a “deep guy that cares a lot about the people around him,” while Yonghwa and Jonghyun said, “He is extremely prudent and thoughtful.”

CNBLUE’s Kang Minhyuk is a womanizer on ‘My Husband got a Family’

CNBLUE‘s Kang Minhyuk is drawing much attention for his role in KBS‘s ‘My Husband got a Family‘, as he is a complete ‘homme fatale’ in the drama.

On the latest episode of the weekend drama, Cha Se Kwang (played by Kang Minhyuk) who has a very cool personality, proved himself to be a skillful womanizer, as he lured Bang Mal Sook (played by Oh Yeon Seo).

Kang Minhyuk may not be much of a faithful man in the drama, but he has been praised by the public for his impressive acting.  With a 184 cm tall body and smooth charms, Kang Minhyuk has outdone himself in his role.  For a rookie actor, Minhyuk has exceeded everyone’s expectations.

According to reports, Chae Se Kwang decided to seduce Bang Mal Sook in order to avenge his friend. Whether this will lead to true love, has yet to be revealed.  Meanwhile, on the 19th episode, Mal Sook presented Cha Se Kwang with a cross stitch, personally made by her hands.  However, Chae Se Kwang has yet to determine his true feelings for Mal Sook.

In related news, the April 29th broadcast of ‘My Husband got a Family’ recorded an impressive 30.1% in viewership ratings, grabbing the number one spot among all weekend TV programs.

CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa plans to hit the gym during his time off

CNBLUE‘s Jung Yonghwa revealed some insight into what he plans to do with his time off.

CNBLUE who released their third mini-album ‘EAR FUN‘ on March 26th, officially ended promotions with their final performance on the April 22nd edition of SBS ‘Inkigayo‘.

Ahead of their last performance, they held an interview backstage on April 20th’s KBS2‘s ‘Music Bank‘. It was here where they stated, “We planned on four weeks of promotions before we made our comeback, but we are a little sad that time flew by so quickly. We will be focusing on individual activities, and will return with a new album towards the end of the year that will consist more of a musical style that we members like.”

Yonghwa who is taking a 2-month break remarked, “This is my first vacation since we debuted. I will most likely focus on creating music for our next album. I’m already excited.”

“I will also be working out to create a more fit physique,” he added. “I will exercise hard and come back and surprise everyone,” causing his fellow members to explode in laughs.

Member Kang Min Hyuk will be focusing on his new drama, KBS2′s ‘You Who Rolled In Unexpectedly‘, while Lee Jonghyun will be focusing on his own drama role in SBS ‘Gentlemen’s Dignity‘.
