SHINee to continue their solo concert series with Taiwan as the next stop

Having completed the SMTOWN concert in Seoul on August 18th, boy group SHINee will be continuing their solo concert series in Taiwan this September!

SM Entertainment recently announced, “SHINee will be performing in Taiwan’s Taipei Arena from September 15th through the 16th“.

This will be SHINee’s second solo concert in Taiwan. Last year, their first concert achieved great success, as they were met with many loving fans who had traveled from all over the nation to see their favorite group. Many posts were also found on Baidu, a search engine, asking how to get tickets for SHINee’s concert, evidencing the group’s success overseas.

After Taiwan, SHINee will perform in Singapore and other countries to complete their ‘The SHINee World 2′ Asia tour.

Actress Min Hyo Rin participates in a beautiful pictorial for ‘Nylon’

Actress Min Hyo Rin showed off both her innocent and sexy sides for the September edition of ‘Nylon‘.

Min Hyo Rin has recently been receiving much love from her roles in movies ‘Gone With the Wind‘ and ‘5 Million Dollar Man‘, and was thus featured in the magazine to celebrate its 4th anniversary.

Despite her extremely busy schedule, the actress personally brought in various photo shoot concepts she wanted to try out that she had organized on her iPad, showing her meticulous and hard-working personality.

She stated, “I want to get rid of the ‘artificial’ image that some associate with me. I like photo spreads that are natural and don’t look artificial.”

An insider from ‘Nylon’ also complimented the actress, “We had Min Hyo Rin use a white rose in the photo shoot in a variety of angles and poses. She’s prettier than a flower“.

SHINee & EXO-K pose with former SM Entertainment artist Bada

Singer Bada took a snapshot with some of her juniors from her previous label, SM Entertainment.

On August 22nd, Bada shared the above photo via her official Twitter page and wrote, “My juniors EXO and SHINee who I was glad to see at the VIP preview. Because I am an SM Entertainment alumnus, I enjoy the camaraderie when I am with these guys who feel like my family. They bow 120 degrees to me, so polite and well-mannered these juniors.”

In the photo, Bada is standing side by side at the ‘Traffickers‘ VIP preview with SHINee members Taemin & Jonghyun, as well as EXO-K members Chanyeol & Suho.

Not only did the friendship between the senior and juniors draw attention, but also their lavish outfits. Bada’s white blouse paired with a print skirt brought out her feminine charm, while Taemin, Suho, and Chanyeol opted for a neat and simple look. Jonghyun stood out amongst all of them with his fashionable blue cardigan.

SHINee reveals Taemin’s teaser photo for “Dazzling Girl”

Korean group SHINee has revealed Taemin‘s teaser photo for their upcoming Japanese single, “Dazzling Girl“!

“Dazzling Girl” is described as an electro-pop number with a polished beat and refreshing melody. It represents the start of a romance with a dazzling woman and the emotional intensity one feels when in love.

The single was produced by Jeff Miyahara, and mixed by Miles Walker. Tom Coyne (Sterling Sound) also participated with the mastering of the single.

The dance was choreographed s**t kingz, while the hair, make-up, and outfits for the PVs and jacket covers were done by KEITA MARUYAMA, Tomizawa Noboru, and Watanabe Yuki.

SHINee will sequentially release teaser photos of each member. “Dazzling Girl” is slated for release on October 10th.

BoA shows a perfect live performance once again with SHINee’s Taemin

BoA has proven once again that she’s the queen of live performances by singing live on the August 11th performance of “Only One” on MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core‘.

The star had previously earned some criticism for lip syncing her first couple of performances due to the complex choreography involved, but that doesn’t mean her live skills have gone missing.

Proving everyone wrong, BoA has been showing stable live skills that sound like it’s been playing straight from the CD while still handling her choreography like a pro. Not only that, but she threw in a duet dance performance with SHINee’s Taemin without faltering one bit.

Singer Sung Shi Kyung had previously expressed his thoughts on the issue on his MBC Radio show, ‘FM Music City, This is Sung Shi Kyung’, by stating, “A lot of people seemed to have a lot of things to say about BoA lip syncing, but BoA is not a robot. In order to show the fans all of the choreography on stage, sometimes lip syncing may be necessary. Everyone knows that BoA is a good singer. They sure expect a lot.”

BoA, who’s been partnering up with idol stars for her “Only One” performances, thanked SHINee‘s Taemin for featuring in her latest stage on ‘Music Core‘.

She tweeted on the 11th KST: “‘Music Core’ with Taemin ^^ Taemin, you worked hard~~ Thank you^^,” along with the photo above.

Fans commented, “You guys look like siblings,” and “Aww, Taemin, hi.”

Sulli’s latest photo strongly resembles SHINee’s Taemin

f(x)‘s Sulli has been drawing attention for resembling SHINee‘s Taemin.

On July 31st, Sulli uploaded the picture on the left onto her personal me2day and along with it wrote, “As always, summer calls for short hair! Do you all want to cut your hair too?~ Please support ‘To the Beautiful You‘ and Goo Jaehee♥. This is the unrevealed cut from the Vogue Girl photo shoot from last time huhu.”

Sulli is sporting a short boyish haircut as well as androgynous clothing for her upcoming role as Goo Jaehee and netizens have taken notice that her pale complexion and upright nose is similar to that of SHINee’s Taemin.

Fans left comments on the picture saying, “Sulli looks pretty even if she is dressed as a boy,” “Is this Taemin or Sulli?,” and “Cute! Are there any boys like that?”

BoA to hold her “Only One” comeback performance with SHINee’s Taemin on ‘Inkigayo’

BoA will be holding her comeback stage on SBS‘s ‘Inkigayo‘ on the 29th with her title song, “Only One“, with the help of a special guest!

In addition to “Only One”, BoA will be performing “The Shadow“, which will be particularly special as this song serves to represent the singer’s thanks to the fans who have always been watching over her and giving her love.

Although TVXQ member Yunho participated in BoA’s comeback show ‘BoA 4354′, it has been revealed that SHINee‘s Taemin will be filling the role this time as BoA’s dancing partner for her ‘Inkigayo’ performance. Fans are already expressing much interest in the upcoming stage for the two are known for their superior dance skills, and are sure to put on a fantastic performance.

Due to the broadcast of the ’2012 London Olympics’, ‘Inkigayo’ will be broadcast at a different time than usual, at 3:10 PM KST.

SHINee’s Taemin and Minho almost kiss, fans go wild

The talented boys of SHINee continued to deliver a round of powerful performances yesterday for their second concert, dubbed ‘SHINee World Concert II‘.

Following Jonghyun‘s naughty attempt at a passionate kiss with Taemin, which made Shawols‘ go wild, it seems that Taemin is now the one delivering copious amounts of fan service, by practically planting a big, juicy kiss on fellow member Minho.

The two were jokingly messing around on the stage until Taemin decided to surprise the crowd by passing along a paper bill, by mouth, to Minho.

Idol members pick the idol friendships they are most envious of

‘Weekly Idol‘ revealed the idol friendships that other idols in the industry are most envious of.

During a recent shoot for an upcoming episode of ‘Weekly Idol’, top idol stars selected a few of the most envied idol friendships including one between Super Junior‘s Eunhyuk & JYJ‘s Junsu, SHINee‘s Taemin & EXO-K‘s Kai, SHINee’s ONEW & MBLAQ‘s Lee Joon, and more.

Many, regardless of gender or age, were envious of the friendship between miss A‘s Suzy and the nation’s little sister IU, remarking that they too would like to become close to the two.

But the friendship that received the most votes was the one between 4minute‘s HuynA and G.NA, who is drawing interest for her new song “2HOT‘.

The episode airs June 6th at 6PM KST on MBC.

SHINee’s Taemin is an ‘angelic version’ of Super Junior’s Kim Heechul?

Super Junior member Kim Heechul revealed a photo of himself being compared to SHINee member Taemin.

On May 11th, the singer shared the photo above and wrote, “Taemin was only 16 years old the first time I saw him… the manager hyungs said that he was an angelic version of me, but now he’s already 20 years old. He’s grown so much… but the problem is, I’m now 30!”

Netizens were shocked to see the two side by side, as they truly did resemble one another. Heechul rocked a long, light-brown hairstyle during the beginning of Super Junior’s career, and Taemin recently sported the same look for SHINee’s “Sherlock“.

“Wow, they do look alike,” netizens wrote in response, along with “They’re 10 years apart?”, and “They look like brothers.”

SHINee’s Key speaks up about his hardships during his trainee days

SHINee‘s Key confessed that he cried almost everyday during his trainee days.

The group guested on the April 26th episode of tvN‘s ‘Taxi‘ and revealed each of their hardships they had overcome.

Key spoke up about his hardships he had experienced in order to become a singer saying, “I came to Seoul from Daegu for the first time when I was 15 years old. My skills weren’t improving and on top of that, people kept criticizing and pointing out my weak points so I was very depressed. I used to cry a lot while riding on the train.”

Coming to Seoul by himself, Key was unable to adapt quickly. “When I go through hard times, I need to have a place where I can go back to whether it’s my home or a friend’s home. However, during my stay in Seoul, I had no where to go so it was better for me to keep myself busy at all times.”

Fellow member Taemin then relayed an anecdote of when Key had come over to his house without his knowledge. Key shyly replied, “I didn’t care whose house it was. I just wanted to go over to anybody’s house and ended up going to Taemin’s, but he wasn’t home at that time. I ended up waiting for him while playing with his dog and left.”

He continued, “I was depressed and had a difficult time, but after enduring it for three years, I was able to debut. I believe that the reason why I’m here now is all thanks to the past.”

Who do female university students choose as the F4 of idols?

Female university students have chosen the idols who they feel should make the “idol F4“!

During the most recent episode of MBC Music‘s ‘Show Champion‘, they announced the members of the idol F4, who were specifically chosen by female students.

For the sexy, charismatic F4 member, there were strong nominees such as 2PM‘s Taecyeon and Super Junior‘s Choi Siwon. However, Big Bang‘s T.O.P. was the winner with voters citing his handsome looks and sexy deep voice.

As for the soft and sensitive F4 idol worthy enough to follow in ‘Boys Over Flower‘ Kim Hyun Joong‘s footsteps, CNBlue‘s Jung Yonghwa was chosen. 2PM‘s Wooyoung was chosen as the delightful member, and SHINee‘s Taemin was chosen as the young idol member whom the female students “would want to keep in their pockets as a pet“.

During this corner, MC Shindong was also a nominee for the delightful member. However, one of the female students commented during her interview, “Shindong has a girlfriend. So pass.” Shindong hilariously quipped, “You too, pass.”

Viewers commented on the chosen members of the “idol F4″ with, “If the four actually got together that would be a great picture,” “Jung Yonghwa really fits the description,” and “Just imagining the four together puts a smile on my face.”

SHINee’s Taemin discusses dressing up like a girl on ‘Hello’

On the April 23rd episode of KBS‘ ‘Hello‘, SHINee‘s Taemin revealed the consequences of as well as his personal impressions on cross-dressing.

Taemin revealed, “I think I dress up as a girl often these days. I’m not showing off, but when I look in the mirror after dressing up, I really look like a girl.”

MC Lee Young Ja then asked him, “So why do you not want to dress like a girl anymore?” Onew humorously commented, “I think he gets confused about his gender identity,” getting laughter from the hosts and the audience.

Taemin also added, “Actually, I recently had extensions in for the album’s concept. I couldn’t go to the bathroom because I was afraid people might mistake me for a girl since I had long hair.”

SHINee’s Taemin apologizes for his pretty-boy appearance

SHINee member Taemin‘s pretty-boy good looks seem to be the envy of everyone, including legendary diva Patti Kim.

The April 18th broadcast of SBS ‘One Night of TV Entertainment‘ aired an interview conducted with Taemin.

During the interview, the reporter remarked, “We heard that senior Patti Kim personally told you that she doesn’t like you. We would like to hear the explanation.”

“She really did say that she didn’t like me,” he confirmed. “When I asked her why she didn’t, she said that she didn’t like that I had such a ‘pretty’ appearance.”

“What can I do? I was born this way,” he said confidently with a laugh and added, “I am sorry that I was born so beautiful.”

SHINee’s Taemin voted as the idol most wanted by other idol groups

MBC Everyone‘s ‘Weekly Idol‘ revealed the results of a newly conducted poll where they asked idols to choose the idol they most want to bring into their own group.

miss A, FT Island, TEEN TOP, B1A4, and more participated in the poll and selected the idol they most wanted in their own group for various reasons such as entertainment skills, musical abilities, good looks, and more.

The one idol that was selected the most by his own peers was none other than SHINee‘s Taemin. “He’s young but he sings and dances really well,” they said, and also selected his ‘pretty’ appearance as another reason why he would be a good addition to their team.

MC Jung Hyung Don was surprised after looking at a photo of Taemin dressed as a female, and remarked that even he was momentarily attracted to Taemin’s good looks.

f(x) member Sulli and miss A’s Suzy were also selected as lovely girl group members to have in your own group. Other male idols that ranked in the top were fashionista and song-writing genius G-Dragon, and JYJ‘s Junsu for his amazing vocals.

The results of the ‘BEST 10 Idols We Want to Steal for Our Own Group’ will be revealed on the April 18th episode of MBC Everyone’s ‘Weekly Idol’.

SHINee’s Taemin: “I’ve thought I was beautiful” + ‘Immortal Song 2′ details

SHINee‘s Taemin has finally revealed his own personal thoughts on his feminine beauty.

On the April 14th broadcast of KBS2‘s ‘Immortal Song 2‘, the show held a 10th anniversary special for Hyun In. Many artists participated in the show including Jay park and Taemin who sang the hit tracks of the legendary singer, who was active in the mid 1900s.

Jay Park sang Hyun In’s “Silla’s Moonlight“, which was released in 1947, and added some of his own style by mixing R&B and dance choreography into the traditional song, making it more appealing to the contemporary audience. SHINee’s Taemin sang a powerful rendition of Hyun In’s classic, “Saving My Hubby“, which was released back in 1951.

The audience was reportedly surprised by his long hairstyle during the performance, which resembled the one shown in SHINee’s teaser photos for “Sherlock“. During an interview session, Taemin acknowledged, “I’ve had the thought that I was beautiful before,” confidently admitting that he’s aware of his unique feminine appeal.

Aside from Jay Park and Taemin, other singers who competed include Lynn, Ali, and Ailee.

SHINee’s Taemin comments on the response to his half-naked photo for “Sherlock”

SHINee‘s Taemin discussed the response he got from people after a half-naked teaser photo of him for “Sherlock” were released.

The host of ‘Immortal Song 2‘, Shin Dong Yup asked him, “Last time you expressed your gratitude to female fans [with half-naked photos], what’s the response been like?” Taemin answered, “Apparently, it looks so erotic that people have trouble looking at it. When guys take off their shirts, it doesn’t really seem that erotic, but when I take my shirt off, I guess people get the feeling I shouldn’t.”

As for the ‘Immortal Song 2′ competition, Taemin went up against recently debuted singer Ailee, who sang “Spring Rain“.

Lyn, Jay Park, ALi, Ailee, Lim Tae Kyung, and Brown Eyed Soul‘s Sung Hoon also appeared on the episode, watch all the performances and find out who won this week here.
