Photoshoot face off: Sooyoung vs. Park Bom

 

Idol group members’ every moves are a hot topic. Especially for girl group idols, their every move from what they eat to what they wear becomes a target for people’s attention. Their most eye catching factor are their slim figures. We compared two idols, Girl‘s Generation‘s leg representative Sooyoung and 2NE1‘s ‘doll legs‘ Park Bom.

Sooyoung is the ‘wanna be star‘ for many ladies today for her slim leg lines. Her legs boast of doll like legs with virtually zero fat. Her tan skin and toned muscles accentuate her healthy looking legs.

Sooyoung showed off her beautiful looks in a recent solo photoshoot. She showed a different side of her than the ones shown on stage. The revealing clothes and her beautiful lines created an alluring charm for the photos.

Meanwhile, 2NE1′s Park Bom is also famous for her ‘mannequin body.’ Her legs are known for their slim lines even when she wears flat shoes. Park Bom recently showed off her slimmer S-line figure and shook the male fans’ hearts. For the ladies, her pictures were enough to motivate them to go on a diet for the upcoming summer.

A recent post on an online community board revealed some pictures from Park Bom’s photo shoot. Park Bom flaunted her doll like figure in a short mini skirt. Netizens especially took note of her toned thighs and calves, as well as her nano ankle that looks as if it can be grabbed with only one hand.

Park Bom celebrates her birthday in a dark theater

 

2NE1‘s Park Bom‘s birthday party was recently revealed.

Earlier today, 2NE1′s Minzy tweeted, “Now I need to go to Bom unnie’s birthday party~ Please look out for live picture updates,” letting the fans know about Park Bom’s birthday.

A few minutes later, Minzy posted “It’s dark since it’s a theater,” along with the above picture.

The picture showed Park Bom receiving a candlelit cake. Although it’s dark, due to the candles on her birthday cake, we can make out some of the guests and the back of Park Bom in a mini dress showing off her flawless legs.

The netizens celebrated Park Bom’s birthday with, “Bom unnie, Happy Birthday“, “Birthday party in a movie theater? On a whole different scale“,”Please share other pictures“,”I want to be invited too“, and “Bom unnie’s extraordinary legs even in the dark.”

Park Bom reveals a fresh-faced selca

Park Bom revealed a fresh selca photo after her hot collaboration performance with label-mate Se7en,

On February 26th, the popular 2NE1 member posted the above photo with a caption that read, “I just got home. What did you think of my performance today? I worked very hard with Se7en to prepare for it.”

The photo, which shows Bom’s natural look with minimal makeup, comes as some netizens have expressed concern for the condition of her face during Sunday’s Inkigayo performance. It seems however, that all is well as she wrote, “Soon I will be heading off for member CL‘s birthday party. I can’t wait. I finally get to try cutie Chae Rin’s cooking!”

Netizens who viewed the post responded, “Your performance today was great!“, “A beautiful voice and envious body“, “I hope 2NE1 also makes a comeback soon!”

Netizens expresss their concern for Park Bom’s face?

Power vocalist 2NE1‘s Park Bom, recently made an appearance on the February 26th episode of SBS‘s ‘Inkgayo‘ for a collaboration with Se7en.

While wearing a white mini dress and flauting her beautiful long legs, Park Bom has once again stunned viewers with her powerful vocals. But despite getting attention for her astounding performance with Se7en, netizens were busy commenting about her face.

After seeing her swollen face, netizens responded, “She doesn’t look too well. Her face has swollen“, “Did she gain weight?“, “I think it’s just the lighting that made her look that way“, “It’s just her hairstyle“, and “We can’t be quick to pass judgement, but I do feel a bit worried for her.”

Se7en and Park Bom to collaborate for this week’s ‘Inkigayo’

It seems Se7en has another special performance planned for his fans.  It has just been reported that he will be collaborating with 2NE1‘s power vocalist, Park Bom, for his upcoming ’Inkigayo‘ performance!

If you remember, the singer collaborated with J.Y. Park to put on a spectacular performance on the February 19th episode of ‘Inkigayo’, receiving much positive feedback from the audience.

To follow up, he’ll be teaming up with fellow labelmate of the same age, Park Bom. Fans are already anticipating the collaboration to see how Se7en’s melodic voice will meld with Park Bom[‘s powerful vocals.

Reportedly, this had been in the making since the collaboration with J.Y. Park. While discussing Se7en’s stage, J.Y. Park and Yang Hyun Suk had thought of the idea as they recalled an occasion in which Se7en and Park Bom discussed doing a duet.

YG Entertainment stated, “Se7en’s ‘When I Can’t Sing‘ is a song that Park Bom liked instantly upon hearing it for the first time… Although she’s currently busy with preparations for 2NE1′s Japanese album and music video that will be released in March, she has been practicing whenever she could to prepare for this performance.”

Past photos of 2NE1′s Park Bom without makeup draw attention

2NE1 member Park Bom‘s past photos are once again receiving attention.

On February 17th, the above photos of Park Bom surfaced on an online community site.

A few of the photos were taken when Park Bom was just a trainee, while another was a photo sticker she took with fellow group member Sandara Park.

Different from her glamorous image now, Park Bom wearing minimal makeup looked extremely natural and endearing.

“She looks so charming here,” her fans commented, along with “She doesn’t look as glamorous, but she actually looks prettier.”

In related news, Park Bom and the rest of the 2NE1 members will be releasing their first album in Japan on March 28th.

2NE1′s Park Bom apologizes to her fans for ‘SBS Gayo Daejun’

2NE1‘s Park Bom consoled her fans who attended ’2011 SBS’ Gayo Daejun’.

On December 30th, she tweeted, “I really want to buy the Black Jacks jjajangmyun [black bean noodles] today. Truthfully, even though it was a terrible day today, if there are days like today, there are bound to be better days as well.”

In the selca, her face is partially covered in a blue and red cheetah patterned scarf as she frowns at the camera, as if to show the frustration fans must have felt.

The ‘terrible day’ Bom is in reference to the problems that occurred during SBS‘s ‘Gayo Daejun‘. It’s been rumored that in addition to the clumsy progression of the show, there were also quite a few sound problems as well. In addition, there were not enough seats in comparison to the large crowd of fans who had shown up.

2NE1′s Park Bom scolds her manager in defense of a fan

It’s been revealed that 2NE1‘s Park Bom scolded her manager in defense of a fan.

Recently, an online community posted a video titled “Apostle Park Bom who showed up at Incheon Airport“, where Bom was seen scolding her manager for pushing a fan. The clip shows that the fan holding the camcorder was almost knocked down as they were trying to hand Bom a present, and Bom believed that it was the manager’s fault.

She immediately bristled and said, “Why did you push her? Don’t push her.”

As it turns out, the fan was taking a step backwards when she tripped over the manager’s feet. Alarmed by Bom’s ferocity, the manager quickly offered an apology to the fan.

In response, netizens said, “She’s really kind”, “Her tone is soft and cute”, “Her manager is really kind too and the incident is funny”, and “She seems fine with the situation since she’s laughing about it too.”

Dara drops by with presents for Bom’s nephew’s birthday party

2NE1‘s Bom proved to be no match for her young nephew’s adorable charms!

On December 18th, she wrote on her Me2day, “We were throwing a birthday party for my nephew’s birthday when auntie Dara stopped by. She came with so many presents. A first reveal of Julian! He looks exactly the same as I did when I was little.”

She added, “This shot took 30 minutes to take. A lot of people are in front trying to get him to pay attention.”

With Julian in her arms, Bom poses alongside Dara, who’s managed to grasp onto his hand in a mid-wave. Their excitement and joy clearly show on their faces.

2NE1‘s lead vocalist Park Bom was recently spotted shopping for unmentionables.

This photo surfaced on an online community board recently under the title, ‘Park Bom shopping.’

Bom is seen browsing through some lacy underthings at a high-end boutique. Her leopard-print boy shorts drew attention to her long, slender legs, further bumping the popularity of this photo online.

2NE1′s Park Bom assures fans she will be singing live at ’2011 MAMA’

Earlier, we reported on YG Entertainment’s concerns about 2NE1‘s Park Bom, whose throat condition was less than optimal due to a severe flu. As such, officials had stated that Bom may not be able to sing live at the ‘2011 MAMA’ in Singapore.

However, on the morning of November 28th, Bom herself made an announcement through Twitter, telling fans that her health has improved and that she will be singing at the awards ceremony. She tweeted, “Bom’s voice might still be a bit husky, but she will be singing live!~~~~~*^____^*”.

She continued, “Don’t worry! I’m taking my meds and eating and resting well for tomorrow! Fighting!! Fighting yayaya!!!!!”

2NE1′s Park Bom may not be able to sing live at ’2011 MAMA’ due to severe flu

YG Entertainment has revealed that 2NE1‘s Park Bom is suffering from a severe flu, and that it may affect her performance at the ’2011 MAMA’, scheduled to be held on November 29th in Singapore.

“Up until departing for Singapore today, Park Bom had been suffering from a flu so severe that she was unable to speak at all for days,” said YG officials.

They continued, “Since it’s a year-end awards ceremony, and because 2NE1 has many fans who have loved and supported them this year, Park Bom has decided that she will on stand on stage. Due to her throat condition, however, we’re afraid that she may not be able to sing live at the event. Up until now, Park Bom has only performed live on stage; just to be safe, however, we took both the MR and AR versions of the song.”

If Bom’s throat doesn’t clear up before their official performance at the MAMA, 2NE1 will have no choice but to use the AR version of the song on stage, which will contain both the song’s melody and Bom’s studio-recorded vocals.

“We hope Park Bom’s flu gets better so that she can return to singing live for her fans,” the officials concluded.

In related news, 2NE1 has been nominated for the “Best Female Group” and “Best Performance” categories at this year’s MAMA.
