Lee Dong Wook would walk around naked after taking showers?

Kim Ji Suk spoke about Lee Dong Wook‘s strange habits in the army on the latest episode of ‘Strong Heart‘.

Lee Dong Wook is the new MC of SBS’s ‘Strong Heart’, and on his first show which aired on April 10th, he said, “I lost over 10 kg.  I am currently 72 kgs but when I was in the army I was at 86kg.”

Boom brought on laughter as he jokingly teased, “When I would wake up in the morning [in the army] I would be surprised and exclaim, ‘Oh what’, because Lee Dong Wook was a lot heavier.”

Kim Ji Suk added, “Whenever Lee Dong Wook showered, he would end up walking around naked.  I never understood that.“  Boom added, “Only people with nice bodies walk around naked, so it was strange that he would.”

Entertainer Song Eun Yi then made everyone laugh as she added, “All this talks makes me for the first time want to go to the army.”

This was the first ‘Strong Heart’ episode without MC Lee Seung Gi and the first time that the audience was able to see Shin Dong Yup and Lee Dong Wook take the lead.  The logo, trophy and theme songs were all changed and the guests that were featured were all close friends of the MCs.

Lee Dong Wook questioned on his kiss scene with Jessica

Lee Dong Wook was unable to avoid a question about his kiss scene with Girls’ Generation member Jessica on his first day as MC for ‘Strong Heart’.

On the April 10th broadcast of SBS’s ‘Strong Heart’, CNBLUE‘s frontman Yonghwa shared a story behind his kiss scene on ‘Heartstrings’.

Lee Dong Wook tried to protect the guest by saying that Jung Yong Hwa had no ulterior motives in kissing the actress when it wasn’t specified in the script, unlike his close friend Lee Jin Wook who, “Really likes kiss scenes.”

Lee Dong Wook was able to get a lot of laughs with his comment, but Shin Dong Yup was quick to silence him by asking, “How was your kiss scene with Jessica,” to which Lee Dong Wook was unable to offer a response other than a sheepish smile as he seemed quite surprised by the question.

Lee Dong Wook successfully completes his first recording as the new MC of ‘Strong Heart’

On April 5th, actor Lee Dong Wook completed his first recording as the newest MC of SBS‘s ‘Strong Heart‘!

Despite it being his first time manning the MC podium, Lee Dong Wook exhibited perfect teamwork with Shin Dong Yub, leading the show in a calm and organized manner. He threw the panelists into fits of laughter with his witty comments and brought out even the toughest of answers with his questions.

PD Park Sang Hyuk stated, “He did so well that I wondered whether this was really his first time. His teamwork with fellow MC Shin Dong Yub was great, and he also worked well with the fixed panelists.”

On completing his first recording, Lee Dong Wook commented, “I was nervous at first, but received a lot of help and was able to wrap it up on a fun note. I’m really thankful that the guests gave me so much strength and encouragement.”

He continued, “Lee Jin Wook and Kim Ji Suk were especially of great support. This is just the beginning of a new ‘Strong Heart’! I’ll work hard to provide joy to our viewers as MC Lee Dong Wook.”

The episode will air on April 10th.

Lee Dong Wook wants you to anticipate his role on ‘Strong Heart’

SBS‘s ‘Strong Heart‘s new host, Lee Dong Wook, wants you to look forward to his appearance on the show!

On March 30th, the actor shared a photo taken during the show’s recent recording under the title, ‘Strong Heart Preview’ and wrote, “Please anticipate” on his me2day. According to the producer of Strong Heart, Park Sang Hyuk, the photo is a screenshot from the footage for the opening segment of the show.  It looks like the opening will introduce Lee Dong Wook in an all-black sexy suit as he makes his steps out of a sports car.

Park Sang Hyuk had a small interview with TV Report and shared, “This will be the first meeting between Shin Dong Yup and Lee Dong Wook.  It was their first collaboration, but they had a fun time filming the title footage.”

Anticipating fans commented, “I’m honestly anticipating the show and will cheer for you“, “You are the best!” and “I will definitely watch the first broadcast!”

Lee Dong Wook and Shin Dong Yup will be recording their first episode of ‘Strong Heart’ on April 5th as the new MCs.

Lee Dong Wook confirmed as the new MC of ‘Strong Heart’

Previously, Lee Dong Wook was revealed to have been in discussion for the MC position on ‘Strong Heart‘ following Lee Seung Gi‘s departure.

Representatives have revealed that Lee Dong Wook has confirmed his position and has agreed to take on the role. Starting April 11th, Lee Dong Wook will be greeting viewers as the newest MC of SBS‘s ‘Strong Heart’.

According to the representative, “Lee Dong Wook has finally made his decision. He’ll be able to show off some variety skills he’s never shown before.”

Lee Seung Gi will be participating in his last recording on March 15th. Lee Dong Wook is expected to bring in foreign viewers due to his popularity overseas.

Lee Dong Wook in discussion for MC position on ‘Strong Heart’

Earlier SBS had revealed that they were considering a two man co-MC team for ‘Strong Heart‘ following the departure of original MC Lee Seung Gi. One of the MC candidates had been been rumored be actor Lee Dong Wook.

Representatives of SBS revealed, “Lee Dong Wook has been offered an MC role, and we are currently talking and discussing the matter with his representatives. A decision hasn’t been made yet, but we will soon be talking about the finer details of his role.”

King Kong Entertainment also added, “It is true that Lee Dong Wook has been offered an MC position for ‘Strong Heart’. There has not been any decision, but we are discussing the matter.”

Lee Dong Wook has been playing a part in the Hallyu wave, as he has a gained a considerably large international fanbase. Officials hope that his addition will help the show spread to larger audience.

Lee Dong Wook’s rumored MC partner has not reached the same stage of discussion yet, but stay tuned for updates!

‘Wild Romance’ co-stars Lee Dong Wook & Jessica take another couple shot

allthatkpops has been reporting on how Girls’ Generation member Jessica got cast for KBS‘s ‘Wild Romance‘ as Lee Dong Wook‘s first love. After releasing a candid ‘couple shot’ of Jessica and Lee Dong Wook recently, the production staff followed up by sharing another one.

The photo released by GnG Productions on January 26th is from the scene where Park Moo Yul (Lee Dong Wook) and Kang Jong Hee (Jessica) relive their past memories together. Their sweet pose in the photo really reminds one of a real couple in a happyrelationship.

Lee Dong Wook vents about authority on me2day

Actor Lee Dong Wook caused his fans some concern when he expressed his frustrations on his me2day.

The actor wrote, “I’m so sick of people telling me what to do… seriously… so tired of it. I’m going crazy. I’ve been receiving orders for two long years. The things people say to me are supposedly for my benefit, but honestly, it all sound like scoldings.”

“Perhaps in time, I’ll be able to accept all this better, but definitely not now. I’m not ready. I’m just not…“, he continued.

Fans buzzed over this update, and wondered if perhaps he’s being overwhelmed in his career. They wrote, “Be strong” and “Fighting” to encourage the actor.

Kim Sun Ah talks about her off-screen relationships with male co-stars

Before she arrived at the 16th annual BIFF, actress Kim Sun Ah made a stop at tvN‘s ‘Talk Show Taxi‘ and openly shared some of the things that went on with her co-stars off-camera.

Kim Sun Ah has worked with the industry’s top male actors in dramas such as ‘My Name is Kim Samsoon‘, & ‘Scent of a Woman‘. They include Hyun Bin, Cha Tae Hyun, Cha Seung Won, Lim Chang Jung, Kim Joo Hyuk, etc.

In regards to her ‘Scent of A Woman’ co-star Lee Dong Wook she said, “He is unbelievably good looking!” The actress also revealed that the co-star she was most compatible with was Cha Seung Won. ”He’s someone that always praised everything I did,” she continued.

And as for Hyun Bin, the two are still very good friends. She admitted that they still call each other ‘Samsoon’ & ‘Samshik’. “We used to go to dinner together and grabbed drinks sometimes but not once did the media suspect us of dating“, she joked.

Kim Sun Ah also revealed a funny story involving fellow actress Gong Hyung Jin that prevented Kim Sun Ah from dating for awhile.

Lee Dong Wook’s ideal type is singer IU

Actor Lee Dong Wook revealed his ideal type as singer IU.

On the 30th of September, Lee Dong Wook guest-featured on SBS Power FM (107.7 Mhz)’s, ‘Boom’s Young Street‘. He was asked a series of ‘Who’d you rather…’ questions to reveal the one celebrity he most preferred. When asked, ‘Taeyeon vs Sulli‘, Lee Dong Wook chose Taeyeon, and between co-stars Kim Sun Ah and Seo Hyorim, he chose Kim Sun Ah without hesitation.

When asked who he preferred between the glamourous G.NA or the nation’s sweetheart IU, he chose IU, admitting that he preferred cute over sexy. And between veteran actors Oh Yeon Soo and Go So Young, he revealed that he had worked with Oh Yeon Soo in the past, picking her in the end.

Lee Dong Wook easily and quickly answered the first few questions, but as the choices got harder, he began to hesistate, which led Boom to create specific scenarios trying to get an answer out of him.

The final ‘Who’d you rather’ question was IU vs ‘Scent of a Woman‘ co-star Kim Sun Ah, and the actor chose IU.

After the game was over, Lee Dong Wook admitted that he was suddenly really tired from doing all that thinking, sparking laughter.
