Agencies scramble to nab Lee Da Hae’s contract

On January 2nd, industry officials revealed that actress Lee Da Hae‘s contract with her agency, DBM Entertainment, had expired in December.

An official disclosed to Star News, “Lee Da Hae’s contract with her company ended, and as of 2012, she is not a part of any agency. She’s been earning a lot of attention around Asia, so she’s looking for a new partner that will help her achieve her promotional goals.”

Several large-scale management agencies are already scrambling to get in contact with her in hopes of nabbing a contract. Another official revealed, “There are a lot of agencies that want her because she’s one of the leading forces of the new Hallyu wave. A famous agency has already gotten in contact with her.”

Representatives of the actress expressed, “Lee Da Hae is starting the new 2012 year fresh after departing from her old agency. She’s going to be making a very careful and well thought-out decision in choosing her new agency.”

British Escort website illegally uses images of Kim Tae Hee and Lee Da Hae

Pictures of actress Kim Tae Hee and Lee Dae Hae illegally used on an adult British ‘Call Girl / Escort’ website have been gaining a lot of attention.

The website showed Kim Tae Hee as a call girl named ‘Shatoya‘. She’s listed as a 22 year old from Hong Kong and has a height of 5’7″ with body measurements of 34C, 25, 34.

Lee Dae Hae on the other hand is called ‘Cynthia‘ and is 24 years old from Hong Kong. She has the same height and body measurements as ‘Shatoya’ but her cost is much higher

1 hour with Shatoya is £500 (around $786) but 1 hour with Cynthia is £1,000 (around $1572).

Netizens commented, “Kim Tae Hee unni can’t be bought with money !!!“, “I’m going to go hurt them now“, “At least they know who the pretty ones are“, “Wow are they crazy?“, “Korea’s Kim Tae Hee is a goddess“, “Kim Tae Hee & Lee Da Hae’s management companies need to step in and shut them down“, “Out of all the places that this can happen, it happens in England“, and “This is so disrespectful to Asian female celebrities.”

Lee Da Hae’s management agency stated, “A while back there was a similar incident in China. At that time we spoke to the Chinese Entertainment Association and got the problem resolved. Now that we’re aware of this issue, we will take swift action to properly resolve this.”

An old photo of actor Lee Dong Wook and Lee Da Hae has been gaining attention.

The two had acted together in the 2005 drama ‘My Girl‘ and the picture seems to have been taken around then. In the photo the two have their arms around each other and look really comfortable. Although this was taken six years ago, this picture shows both Lee Dong Wook and Lee Da Hae’s everlasting good looks.

Lee Da Hae wants to work with INFINITE?

Lee Da Hae, the lead actress from MBC‘s hit drama, ‘Miss Ripley’, revealed her affections for INFINITE on this week’s espisode of KBS‘s ‘Entertainment Weekly’.

Recently, Kim Jung Tae, her fellow actor from ‘Miss Ripley’, had picked Lee Dae Hae as the actress he would like to work with again on a romantic drama. When the reporter asked how she felt about his statement, she stated honestly with a laugh, “Oppa, I don’t want to.”

When asked who she would want to work with instead, Lee Da Hae blurted out with a sheepish smile, “INFINITE would be good.”

She couldn’t hold back her emotions as she confessed, “Why must they keep saying ‘Be mine’? It makes my heart flutter!”
