Singer Ivy has recently been attracting attention for her beautiful bare face.

On August 1st, Ivy posted to her personal blog, “What is this, because of the tropical nights, I have been struggling to sleep because it’s so hot, so I’m posting these pictures and then going to bed.”

In the revealed photos, Ivy looked modest and classy in a restaurant.

Singer and musical actress Ivy posted a set of selcas to her blog on July 5th, along with the message: “ A sharp bathroom-mirror selca of my haggard face. At Little Saigon after getting my makeup done. [Wearing my] sunglasses like this because they might leave a mark on my nose. Botox, want you.”

In the photos above, Ivy appears to be eating at a restaurant with a friend. Despite her remarks about how her appearance, Ivy still looks beautiful.

Ivy bewitches with her transformation into ‘Roxie Hart’ for ‘Chicago’ musical

Ivy recently shared a few pictures of herself via her personal blog!

In the pictures, Ivy showed the process of getting into character for her musical. Her straight hair and nude lipstick i the first picture give off a much different aura than the pin-up look she sported as she posed on the middle of her ‘Chicago’ musical stage. With her red lipstick and provocative pose, the ‘Sexy Queen’ seems to be flaunting the fact that she’s still got it. Her see-through outfit, which exposes parts of her chest area and arms, especially helps to magnify her attractive looks and figure.

Fans commented, “You can’t take your eyes off of her“, “The slight exposure of skin is sexy“, and “As expected, Ivy is the sexy queen“.

In other news, Ivy has been cast to play the role of the heroine, Roxie Heart, in the musical ‘Chicago’. The musical will continue to run until October 7th.

Ivy comments on her silly facial expressions

Singer Ivy doesn’t seem to be finished making her silly facial expressions just yet. On May 31st’s episode of KBS2TV‘s ‘Happy Together 3‘, actress Oh Yoon Ah commented on Ivy’s tendency to make funny faces.

Ivy first commented, “The skin on my face is really thin so my [facial muscles] can move freely. Because of that, I make a lot of silly faces.” In response, Oh Yoon Ah said, “When I first saw Ivy’s bizarre facial expressions, rather than thinking they were funny, I thought, ‘Why is she doing this?’, and was a bit turned off by it,” generating laughter on set. The actress was later asked by the hosts to attempt her own crazy expressions.

Ivy then stated, “On one program, I showed my silly faces, and it seems viewers were very surprised. There were a lot of responses like: ‘Why is she suddenly acting like that?’ and ‘I guess money is getting tight,’ but that’s just how I usually am.”

Ivy reveals why she decided to return with a ballad instead of a dance track

Singer Ivy hilariously revealed the reasons behind her decision to not come back with a dance track for her recent return to the industry.

On the May 28th episode of KBS2 TV‘s talk show ‘Hello‘, female solo artists Ivy, Baek Ji Young and Ailee shared their concerns as well as listening to the worries of the public.

Ivy stated, “I’m more comfortable now that I’m doing a ballad instead of a dance song. When I dance, I lose my breath.” When the MCs asked her, “Why didn’t you do a dance song this time around?”, Ivy joked, “Because I am too old,” bringing laughter on set with her frank answer.

Baek Ji Young, who is older than Ivy and recently made her comeback with a dance track, remarked, “If you say that while sitting next to me, what does that make me?” Ivy tried to relieve the situation by adding, “Honestly, no good dance songs were coming in. So when I heard ‘Torn Heart’, I chose to do that song,” explaining the real reason behind her not going with a dance concept this time.

Ivy also revealed, “I’ve been stressed out because I keep gaining weight lately. Because I’m the type to gain excess fat in my belly, I don’t lost weight that well. I guess that’s what happens when you are over thirty,” which once again caused Baek Ji Young to become flustered.

Ivy sings a sexy version of “Three Bears” on ‘Go Show’

Singer Ivy impressed viewers with her sexy version of the classic Korean children’s song “Three Bears“.

On May 25th’s airing of ‘Go Show‘, the MCs requested that Ivy attempt a sexy version of “Three Bears”, and the singer accepted the challenge. After singing the sexy version, she finished the mini-performance off with a cute expression that left many viewers wanting more.

The theme of this ‘Go Show’ episode was “Voice of Miracles”, and other guests included Baek Ji Young, Park Jung Hyun, and Kim Bum Soo. The singers entertained viewers with their “Children’s Song Battle”, giving their all as they passionately sang children’s songs.

Singer Ivy will be showing a full reveal of her personal closet in her latest pictorial with fashion magazine ‘Elle‘!

Photographer Ahn Joo Young, who previously worked with Ivy for the album jacket photoshoot of her comeback mini-album, ‘Interview‘, took the lead in her latest pictorial, which focused on every inch of her personal closet. From favorite outfits to shoes, bags and accessories, Ivy took the time to spotlight each of her fashion tips and style suggestions.

The pictorial itself was completed in a natural and fun atmosphere, including the photo above! Ivy had actually whipped out her own camera to take a quick photo of the scene, and the photographer thought she looked adorable enough to photograph right back.

Ivy receives sweet potatoes from Girls’ Generation member Seohyun

Singer Ivy received a special gift from Girls’ Generation member Seohyun.

On May 4th, Ivy shared the photo of the sweet potatoes above on her blog and wrote, “Today is ‘Music Bank’… I shared the same dressing room as ‘TaeTiSeo‘, and Seohyun gave me these sweet potatoes when I said I was hungry. Pretty Seohyun has a beautiful heart, too. The sweet potatoes are skinny, like Girls’ Generation.”

Fans are well aware of Seohyun’s love for sweet potatoes, and the fact that she happened to have some with her to hand to a hungry Ivy drew laughs amongst netizens.

“Seohyun is as pretty as she is sweet,” they wrote, along with “Beautiful girls love sweet potatoes,” and “Is that her secret to a lean figure?”

Ivy to discuss her sex tape rumors for the first time on ‘Strong Heart’

On the upcoming episode of SBS‘ ‘Strong Heart‘, singer Ivy opened up for the first time about the false sex tape rumors that led to her hiatus.

Ivy carefully began her story, stating, “Talking about the scandal is hard for me to do.” She went on to reveal that the pain endured by her family because of the false allegations was far more of a burden to her than the rumor itself.

She also apologized, “Although I’ve overcome a lot of it now, I apologize for raising public discussion, and causing disappointment for so many people.” Though Ivy was a victim in this case as her ex-boyfriend used the supposedly existing tape to blackmail the star, it seems she still felt some responsibility to her fans about the matter.

The singer made her debut in 2005, and quickly became recognized for her great vocals and dancing ability. However, in 2007, she was faced with a sex tape scandal that led her to take a long hiatus from the entertainment industry.

In 2010, she made a comeback with her 3rd album, which didn’t fare so well, but she was able to make a successful debut as a musical actress. Although Ivy wrote a post about her feelings concerning the sex tape rumors on her personal homepage at the time of her comeback, this is the first time she has discussed it directly on television.

Ivy reveals J.Y.Park was in awe of her figure

On the recent episode of KBS‘ ‘Sketchbook‘, Ivy shared an episode she had with J.Y.Park.

Ivy started off by revealing, “J.Y.Park named me Ivy.” She continued,”J.Y.Park says that you have to dress up accordingly when you’re singing.”

She shared that she actually had to wear heels and flashy outfits when she sang sexy songs. She subtly bragged, “So when I sang a sexy song, I wore a very tight outfit, and J.Y.Park was in awe.”

Ivy shyly added, “I’m sorry,” humoring the audience with her apology for bragging.

Ivy’s “Torn Heart” reaches #1 on music charts

Ivy‘s title track, “Torn Heart“, from her first mini-album ‘Interview‘ is currently taking music charts by storm. After the release of her single on April 27th, the song has already entered the top 10 of real-time music charts and reached #1 on Mnet‘s Olleh Music. At the same time as her album release, Ivy also unveiled her official home page titled “IVYNUS”, and its server crashed for an hour due to the flood of visitors.

A representative from Ivy’s agency stated, “Not only Ivy but her whole staff team that worked hard for her comeback can’t contain their joy at reaching #1, which we never could have expected. Ivy did her best to pour out her true feelings into this album, and I think she effectively delivered those emotions to her fans. Starting with today’s comeback performance, Ivy plans to show fans a more improved side of her.”

Ivy will be making her first comeback performance at KBS 2TV‘s ‘Music Bank‘ on the 27th.

Taetiseo, IU and Ivy to release new albums back to back

The idol comeback frenzy continues, as some of the biggest names in the industry will be returning to the music scene. Soloist Ivy will be making her long-awaited comeback, followed by the debut of Girls’ Generation‘s subgroup Taetiseo. The nation’s sweetheart IU will also be releasing new material.

Ivy will be releasing her ballad song “Torn Heart” on the 27th of this month to kick off promotions for her new mini-album. This is the first time in 2 and a half years the singer will be releasing an album with fresh new songs.

It has been a long time since Ivy has stood on stage, and she is more than determined to deliver joy to her fans with a fresh, new transformation. The singer who has until now been known as a sexy K-Pop diva has filled her new album with mellow ballad tracks. Personally writing and composing her sub-track “Flower“, Ivy is proving to be more than just a performer.

But she has yet to toss aside her sexy image completely. With a few provocative photos in her album jacket, Ivy proves that she is still the sexy queen of K-Pop.

Following Ivy’s comeback, Girls’ Generation’s subgroup Taetiseo will be making their grand entrance as a trio. Comprised of Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun, Taetiseo is Girls’ Generation’s first subunit since debuting in 2007. The girls have been drawing major attention from fans all over the world ahead of releasing their new material, and their new song “Twinkle” is scheduled to drop on the 29th. “Twinkle” is a medium-tempo funky soul dance track that blends Stevie Wonder‘s style of music from the 70′s and 80′s with the more contemporary sounds of today.

Taetiseo’s new album will be first released on iTunes worldwide, and the physical album sales will begin on May 2nd.

The nation’s ‘little sister’ IU will also be releasing a new song in May.

IU’s representative remarked, “We are not sure as to the exact form in which she will be revealing her new song, but she will be unveiling the new song in early May. We are also brainstorming ideas for her new promotions.”

Each new release by IU has been a smash hit, and the fact that a new song is scheduled to drop without a specific plan in regards to promotions is drawing interest from netizens.

IU will also be embarking on her first Korean Tour starting this June.

Ivy makes funny faces on ‘Strong Heart’

Ivy made some incredibly hilarious expressions on the April 24th broadcast of SBS‘s ‘Strong Heart‘, completely tearing down the image that people had of her.

The star debuted with a sexy image, but she confessed, “I was actually born in the countryside of Choongnam,” and shared that one of her hobbies was making funny faces. Comedian Jung Juri shocked the crowd when she said, “When I take a picture with Ivy, she looks worse than me.”

Ivy said, “The muscles in my face move very well. Even if I have to compete against comedians, I am confident that I will not lose.”

With this, the competition to make the funniest face on ‘Strong Heart’ began. All the guests were asked to make funny faces, but nobody could hold a candle to Ivy.

Ivy continued, “I have been practicing for 15 years. In junior high school I tried to make the person sitting in front of me laugh by making a monkey face and found out the muscles in my face move well,” and once again made a face that brought everyone to laughter.

On April 25th, Ivy’s agency excited fans with teaser photos for Ivy’s first mini-album ‘Interview‘, in which Ivy portrays a comfortable yet mysterious feeling. In one photo, Ivy is showing off her beautiful and innocent smile, while in the other photo, the singer made a 180 degree transformation with smokey makeup. In the mysterious and sexy teaser photo, Ivy’s crown is reminiscent of the Statue of Liberty.

Singer Ivy is a country girl at heart?

Singer Ivy, who is known for her sexy and luxurious image, revealed that she is actually a country girl at heart.

On the latest episode of SBS’s ‘Strong Heart‘, Ivy stated, “I wasn’t born in Seoul but in the countryside of Choongnam.”

She continued, “When I first debuted as a rookie I was dolled up to look luxurious.  But to be honest, I am a country girl.  The image that you saw of me before was a made up one.”

Oh Yoon Ah, who also appeared on the show, said, “Ivy has a simple and easy going feminine personality.  She can put on the sassiest facial expressions as well,” which prompted the requests for the singer to showcase some of her strange facial expressions.

Ivy is definitely marking her return with a sexy new pictorial for ‘Esquire‘ magazine!

Released on April 23rd, the pictorial shows off Ivy’s voluminous body to the fullest in a deep pink dress, cut in all the right places. Ivy was known as a ‘sexy icon’ before her long hiatus, and that image certainly hasn’t gone anywhere during her time away from the industry.

Staff on set expressed, “We felt that she was a true professional from the way she confidently posed in front of the camera despite her long hiatus. She’s been working out consistently, which shows in her stunning and healthy body, which earned the praise of everyone on set.”

Making a comeback after a hiatus of two and a half years, singer Ivy revealed a selca she took before the recording of SBS ‘Strong Heart’.

Ivy uploaded the picture onto her blog on April 21st and commented, “Here to record ‘Strong Heart’. I’m a weak heart though…”

Taken before the April 19th recording of the show, Ivy shows off her clear skin and sharp V-line face. The singer also dressed in a sheer chiffon black button-up with large jewels.

Fans who saw the picture commented saying, “I am really look forwards to your comeback“, “I will make sure to watch ‘Strong Heart’“, and “You’re beauty hasn’t changed at all!”

This episode of ‘Strong Heart’ is scheduled on April 24th, and the singer’s mini-album ‘Interview‘ is set to be released on April 27th.

Ivy opens up about her painful hiatus

On April 14th, reporters of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Entertainment Relay‘ visited the set of Ivy‘s comeback music video filming and sat down for a heartfelt interview discussing her return.

Ivy began, “I went through a lot of pain during my break.. I finally feel like I’m living life now that I’m out. Since I was on hiatus for so long, I missed the stage a lot and wanted people to hear my songs. My hiatus just felt so long.”

She continued, “I watched all of the music programs every week. Since I had nothing else to do, I would just watch TV all day. Once I turned it off, I felt so pathetic as I sat there on the sofa. I would think to myself, ‘I should be on that screen…’ The industry these days is largely focused on idol singers, so it was disappointing to see that there weren’t many solo artists promoting.”

For the past two years and six months, Ivy has gone through several obstacles like her lawsuit with her company. When asked how she dealt with the rumors that surrounded her, she replied calmly, “I think it’s something that any celebrity has to go through at some point in their career.”

Tearing up at the thought of her family having to undergo the same pain, she continued, “My father learned how to work the internet and read the hateful replies about me. I didn’t know what to do then. The pain my family received was greater than my own. It’s because of my family that I’m able to make my comeback, as they were my biggest source of strength.”

Ivy to return to the music scene with new mini album ‘Interview’

Sexy queen Ivy will be returning to the music scene after a three year hiatus.

Ivy will be releasing a mini-album titled ‘Interview‘ on April 27th and will actively participate in a promotion cycle.

This album will have a variety of songs with different styles ranging from ballads to medium tempo songs and will surely be a treat for her fans who have been missing her soulful and heartfelt style.

Ivy’s representative stated, “Ivy matured musically while she was on a break and she wanted to show her maturity so that is why the song will be filled with ballads and medium tempo songs.  We feel that it will be better received compared to her dance tracks.  All of her strengths will really stand out and we are all eagerly anticipating her album.”

Ivy uploaded a teaser image via her homepage (ivynus.com) on April 10th and is planning to continuously greet her fans.

Ivy debuted in July of 2005 with her first album, ‘My Sweet and Free Day‘ and received immense popularity through her hit tracks such as, ‘A-Ha‘, ‘Sonata of Temptation‘, ‘Touch Me‘, and ‘I Must be Stupid.’
