Jung Il Woo to endorse FILA Korea





Actor Jung Il Woo has been chosen as the new endorsement model for outdoor apparel brand, FILA Korea.


On the 7th, Jung Il Woo’s agency revealed that the actor’s “manly and dandy” charms are what influenced FILA’s decision to sign with the actor.


FILA Korea will be targeting the younger generation with Jung Il Woo, whose fans range from teens to those in their 20′s.


In related news, Jung Il Woo will be actively holding promotions throughout Asia with the establishment of his official Japanese fan club.

Jung Il Woo attends the ‘Shanghai TV Festival’ for ‘The Moon That Embraces the Sun’





Actor Jung Il Woo proudly accepted a trophy at the 18th ‘Shanghai TV Festival‘ awards ceremony for his drama, ‘The Moon That Embraces the Sun‘!


On June 15th, the 18th ‘Shanghai TV Festival’ held its awards and closing ceremony where Jung Il Woo attended as a special invitee. ‘The Moon That Embraces the Sun’, which ended its broadcast in Korea in March, came away with a silver win in the international drama category. As one of the leading roles of the drama, Jung Il Woo headed up to the stage to accept the trophy on behalf of his cast and staff.


The ‘Shanghai TV Festival’ was launched in 1988 and is one of the biggest TV festivals in China.


Jung Il Woo has already built up a fan base in China thanks to his past hits like ‘49 Days‘ and ‘Flower Boy Ramen Shop‘ so this is just another notch to add to his list of many accomplishments as a budding Hallyu star.

Jung Il Woo confesses that he does not like the size of his feet





Actor Jung Il Woo recently opened up about what he thought of himself.


On May 13th’s airing of MBC’s ‘Section TV‘, Jung Il Woo was asked on why he said that he wasn’t a flower boy. Jung Il Woo explained saying, “It’s true. In my opinion, I don’t consider myself a flower boy because there are many handsome sunbaes out there like Wonbin.”


The show then asked Jung Il Woo what he likes the least about himself. The star answered, “My feet because they are very small. I wear a size of 250mm so it is hard for me to find shoes.


Jung Il Woo was then asked what he likes the most about himself and he answered, “I like my fingers the best.” Jung Il Woo proudly showed off his fingers to the camera with a dazzling smile and brought laughter to the set.

Jung Il Woo becomes a DJ as the new endorsement model for ‘Doritos’





Actor Jung Il Woo made a surprise transformation into a club DJ as the new endorsement model for Doritos!


Jung Il Woo is actually the first endorsement model chosen by Doritos for their Korean advertisement campaign. Despite the CF shoot lasting late into the night, the actor never lost his trademark smile and managed to keep the atmosphered amped up as the DJ of the show.


As it was his first time behind the booth, he made sure to practice every time he was off camera, which thankfully resulted in a charismatic final product.


A representative stated, “Jung Il Woo has been involved in a variety of different activities and has thus gathered a diverse fanbase. As Doritos is a global brand enjoyed by families everywhere, we felt that Jung Il Woo was the best model in appealing to a large range of consumers.”

Jung Il Woo signs with a new agency, ‘Forest Entertainment’





Actor Jung Il Woo, who recently concluded his role in MBC‘s hit drama, ‘The Moon That Embraces the Sun‘, has revealed that he is now label mates with the likes of Jun Do Yeon, Gong Yoo, and Gong Hyo Jin.


On May 4th, his new management agency, Forest Entertainment, confirmed, “We have signed with Jung Il Woo.”


Jung Il Woo stated, “The reason I contracted with Forest as my new agency was because I trusted the company and the CEO. I’m going to work to improve myself as an actor in the future.”


CEO Kim Jang Kyun expressed, “Jung Il Woo has a lot of potential in that he’s able to weave in and out of genres and roles unlike other actors his age. We hope to uncover his hidden potential by helping him grow as an actor through great future projects.”
