Leeteuk, Yesung, Sungmin, Donghae, and Kyuhyun get comfy and casual for ‘@star1′

Super Junior‘s Leeteuk, Yesung, Sungmin, Donghae, and Kyuhyun recently participated in a lifestyle themed pictorial with ‘@star1‘ magazine where they touched on their daily activities and hobbies through their interviews.

Shot along the streets of Nonhyundong in Seoul, the photoshoot saw the boys dressed in comfortable yet stylish pieces perfect for every day wear. One of the themes discussed was exercise, and as they are a male group, the boys were asked if any of them were exercise fanatics themselves, to which Leeteuk replied, “As opposed to actually working out and playing sports, I like just watching.”

He continued, “‘Star King‘ is currently doing a ‘Body Jjang Project’ so I’m trying to buff up a bit. I’ll play basketball in my spare time since I like running. I’m also focusing on weight training. People tend to view me as weak so I’ve been trying to change that image through weight training. I’ve noticed that girls like ‘reverse bodies’ that are unexpected, so I’ve been thinking of keeping my face as pale as possible while tanning my body to achieve that reverse effect.”

On their sixth album promotions, Leeteuk stated, “We’re finally at our sixth album. I think the number six has a big meaning to idol groups since it’s hard for most groups to get past their fifth album. I’m looking forward to our future and the records we can work to break.”

Girls’ Generation has a paparazzi-themed photo shoot with ‘@star1′

‘@star1′ has provided a sneak peek of the upcoming Girls’ Generation pictorial featuring members Yuri, Jessica, Sooyoung, and Seohyun hanging around Cheongdam, a fashion and art street in Seoul.

As the girls are wearing casual attire and performing everyday tasks, some of the pictures, like the one shown above, look like candid paparazzi shots. Despite sporting a simple look, the members look gorgeous as they show off their long-legged, doll-like bodies.

According to rumors, at the time of the photo shoot the Girls’ Generation members who were already decked out in their clothes and accessories, answered people’s inquiries rather quickly before resuming with their slow work.

One representative of the fashion business explained this behavior, commenting, “Usually, fashionistas who are often talked about, like Sooyoung and Jessica, wear the products and become sluggish; they’re then [affectionately] nicknamed ‘lazy girls’.”

Girls’ Generation’s Yuri discusses life after ‘Fashion King’ with @star1

Members Yuri, Jessica, Sooyoung, and Seohyun of Girls’ Generation met up with @star1 for a paparazzi-themed photo shoot.

The shoot for the July issue was held in the “fashion mecca” Chungdamdong, where flagship stores of top clothing brands like Tory Burch are located.

Each member’s individual looks were highlighted, and the girls were dressed in styles that they themselves preferred to wear.

Yuri, who recently made a successful acting debut on the recently concluded SBS drama ‘Fashion King‘, captivated viewers in Chungdamdong wearing a simple top and shorts. She commented that the biggest difference she’s noticed after the drama is that she has more “ahjumma” fans.

Yuri stated, “I tried acting for the first time in my life, and it was a lot harder than I thought it would be. Truthfully, it was difficult, but I also found it fun.”

She continued, “If there’s one thing that’s changed after ‘Fashion King’, I now have more ahjussi and ahjumma fans who recognize me. They recognize ‘Yuri from Fashion King’ when I go to restaurants or walk the streets. It’s fascinating. I realized the power of dramas.”

“I would like to have more opportunities to act in the future,” Yuri added. “I would like to continue acting.”
