IU tops Billboard’s ‘K-Pop’s Hot 100′ Chart

Singer IU has topped Billboard‘s K-pop Chart!

As of May 17th, IU has placed 1st on Billboard ‘K-Pop’s Hot 100‘ with her title song “Every End of the Day” from her new mini-album, ‘Spring of a Twenty Year Old‘.

Following IU is Baek Ji Young‘s “Voice“, TaeTiSeo‘s “Twinkle” at 3rd, and SISTAR‘s “Alone” at 4th.

After releasing her album, IU has also brought down Ulala Session‘s recent hit “Beautiful Night” and has achieved an all-kill on the music charts, evidencing the love and support she is receiving from a wide range of audience.

Composed by Park Geun Tae and Kim Do Hoon with lyrics written by Kim Eana, “Every End of the Day” is a lively song that reminds people of old pop music with its disco style and upbeat rhythm. With IU’s bright vocals, the lyrics depict a girl deeply in love with a man, hoping that he’ll notice and make the first move.

Songs from IU’s new mini-album ‘Spring of a Twenty Year Old’ top music charts

IU‘s single “Every End Of The Day” achieved an immediate positive response on various online music charts just after being released on May 11th.

According to Mnet, Melon, and Olleh Music real-time charts, IU’s title song “Every End Of The Day” off new mini-album ‘Spring of a Twenty Year Old‘ seized the #1 spot on the charts

IU’s self-composed song “Peach” also grabbed the #6 spot and #5 on the various charts, while her other track “I Don’t Like That Person” secured #2 and #9 spots. Thus, all three songs on IU’s newest album charted within the top 10.

Bugs and Soribada also showed the singer’s songs ranked among the top.
