SISTAR’s Bora impresses with her judo abilities on ‘Invincible Youth 2′





SISTAR‘s Bora showcased her impressive athletic abilities once again on the September 8th broadcast of KBS‘s ‘Invincible Youth 2‘.


In the show, the 2012 London Olympic Judo team from Korea participated in the shooting and showed the girls a few judo moves. While learning some of the techniques, Bora was able to easily flip over one of the athletes who had been teaching her, surprising everyone on set with her athletic abilities and courage.


On the other hand, Jewelry‘s Yewon had a minor accident when she fell over on her own while strutting confidently after learning one of the techniques. Judo athlete Kim Jae Bum commented, “If you’re not smart, you’re not good at sports either“, making everyone on the set laugh.


Netizens commented on Bora’s amazing judo skills, “Bora is the true ‘Exercise Idol’“, “She’s better than male idols“, “The athletes look surprised too“, and “We should send Bora to athlete training camp too!“.

Judo athletes select miss A’s Suzy as G5 member they most wanted to meet on ‘Invincible Youth 2′





Judo athletes Song Dae Nam and Jo Jun Ho have selected miss A‘s Suzy as the G5 member they wanted to meet the most.


For the September 8th broadcast, ‘Invincible Youth 2‘ invited Judo coach Jung Hoon as well as the national Judo members from the 2012 London Olympics: Song Dae Nam, Kim Jae Bum, and Jo Jun Ho.


Upon arrival, athlete Kim Jae Bum expressed his anticipation for the day’s filming commenting, “We did have a lot of filming schedules after arriving in Korea, but this is my first time appearing on one with girl group members.”


When asked which G5 member they most wanted to meet, Song Dae Nam and Jo Jun Ho both selected Suzy. However, Suzy caused a bit of awkwardness as she shyly greeted the guests saying, “Hello. I’m Suzy.”


Kim Jae Bum, on the otherhand, selected Kim Shin Young as the G5 member who gave him strength during the London Olympics. “Just by looking at her will give you strength,” causing everyone to burst in laughter.

Actress Han Hye Jin poses in between Korean Olympic medalists











Actress Han Hye Jin recently had the opportunity to snap a photo with the three Korean Olympic medalists in Judo.


On August 3rd, she updated her Twitter from London writing, “They said my face looked the brightest that day since coming to England. Very Happy,” along with a group photo with the three medalists, Song Dae Nam, Kim Jae Bum, and Jo Jun Ho.


Han Hye Jin is seen proudly posing with the Judo athletes along with a gold meal around her neck. A few minutes later, she tweeted individual photos taken with the players.



She first tweeted a photo with gold medalist Song Dae Nam and wrote, “He suggested me take the photo while wearing the gold medal around my neck. Together with the truly amazing and kind-hearted, athlete Song Dae Nam.”



With gold medalist Kim Jae Bum, she wrote, “Earnest and humorous! Together with athlete Kim Jae Bum, who’s full of charm!



Finally, with bronze medalist Jo Jun Ho, “He’s handsome, but he’s also nice and cute. Together with Jo Jun Ho.”


Han Hye Jin is currently in London to film the London Olympics special for SBS‘s ‘Healing Camp‘.

Sunny Days’ Seoyeon and Olympic gold medalist Kim Jae Bum revealed to be friends





The unexpected relationship between Sunny Days‘ Seoyeon and the first Korean Olympic gold medalist in Judo, Kim Jae Bum, is gaining attention.


Sunny Days is currently promoting their song, “Don’t Touch Me“, and Kim Jae Bum received Korea’s first gold medal in Judo on August 1st at 2012′s ‘London Olympics’.


Seoyeon showed her friendship with Kim Jae Bum as she sent him a message contragulating him on his gold medal. She wrote, “Jae Bum oppa, you’re the best! All of the Sunny Days members watched the match with sweaty hands. You looked really great out there, trying your best. Congratulations!! I’ll see you in Korea ^^.”


Seoyeon and Kim Jae Bum has been revealed to have known each other before her debut. When he heard of her debut, he sent her his congratulations. Sunny Days also released a support song for Korean athletes at the Olympics called, “Glory Korea“.


Seoyeon expressed, “When I was recording the Olympic fight song, I was hoping all along for Jae Bum oppa’s news about a gold medal, and now I’m really glad that his efforts brought him such a good result.”
