Shinhwa’s Jun Jin competes against SHINee’s Minho for ‘Shinhwa Broadcast’

Shinhwa‘s Jun Jin and SHINee‘s Minho who were at one point both dubbed ‘Ace’s of KBS 2TV’s ‘Dream Team‘ got competitive playing a few friendly games together.

On a recent shoot for an episode of ‘Shinhwa Broadcast‘, the members of Shinhwa competed against idol group SHINee- their juniors of ten years.

Both Jun Jin and Minho were chosen as the captains of their respective teams, and were both determined to win the ‘long horse’ competition.

Jun Jin complained that his body did not feel the same as it once did, while Minho who once learned to properly jump hurdles from a professional had a more serious attitude.

Member Shin Hyesung who was impressed by fellow member Jun Jin’s hurdle jumps remarked, “I only saw [Jun Jin] jump hurdles on TV. It’s cool seeing him do that in person.”

Jun Jin’s contract with Open World Entertainment to expire next month

Shinhwa‘s Jun Jin‘s contract with his current agency, Open World Entertainment, will to be expiring soon.

Representatives of Jun Jin revealed, “His contract will officially expire at the end of June. We’re currently discussing where he’d like to take his future.”

Jun Jin joined Open World Entertainment in 2008, but with the recent scandal putting the company at risk for bankruptcy, industry officials are sure that he will not renew his contract with the agency and instead seek a new agency to better support his goals.

Representatives further revealed, “Shinhwa will be on tour until the first week of July so Jun Jin will focus completely on Shinhwa’s activities until then. He will not rush into things.”

Shinhwa transforms into beloved cartoon characters for Children’s Day

The members of Shinhwa dressed up as beloved cartoon characters for Children’s Day.

This picture above was uploaded onto Shinhwa Company’s official Twitter on May 5th along with the tweet, “The time slot for JTBC’s ‘Shinhwa Broadcast’ has been changed to 23:00 starting from today. Don’t miss ‘Shinhwa Broadcast’.”

For ‘Shinhwa Broadcast’, the members had to do their best to win the love of children so the members dressed up as cartoon characters to entertain them. All six members looked adorable with Eric dressed as Tigger, Andy as Pororo, Hyesung as a clown, Jun Jin as Dooly, Dongwan as Super Man, and Minwoo as Ppungppungyi.

Fans left comments on the picture saying, “All of you are all really cute. I bet the number of children fans will increase now“, “The best!“, and “You can’t go wrong with children when you’re dressed as Pororo.”

The 8th episode of ‘Shinhwa Broadcast’ will be the continuation of episode 7 where the members try to win the love of children who do not know of Shinhwa. These episodes guest starred twelve adorable children and among those twelve are the famous Moon brothers Mason Moon, Mavin Moon, and Maden Moon.
