JYJ’s Yoochun wins 2 individual awards from ’2012 Seoul International Drama Awards’





JYJ‘s Yoochun has yet again claimed more wins at the ‘Seoul International Drama Awards‘!


‘Seoul International Drama Awards 2012′ held an online poll asking netizens to determine the winner for the ‘Popularity Award’ and ‘Hallyu Drama Award’ portions of the ceremony. The voting took place from July 28th through August 10th and the results were officially announced recently.


It turns out Yoochun has once again claimed the ‘Popularity Award’ as well as winning the ‘Hallyu Drama – Male Actor’ category (He won these awards in 2011 as well). ‘Rooftop Prince‘ also won in the category for ‘Hallyu Drama’, which can be considered another win for Yoochun since he was the male lead in the drama.


‘Hallyu Drama – Female Actress’ award went to Yoochun’s co-star Han Ji Min, and in the OST category for Hallyu Drama, “Missing You Like Crazy” for ‘The King 2 Hearts‘ by Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon was chosen.


The stars who received the netizens’ ‘Popularity Award’ and the various awards for the ‘Hallyu Drama’ category will be attending the award ceremony on the 30th. Full list of the other winners will also be revealed later on.

JYJ’s Yoochun feels like he’s known ‘Rooftop Prince’ costar Han Ji Min for 10 years





JYJ‘s Yoochun commented on his relationship with ‘Rooftop Prince‘ costar Han Ji Min.


On the August 18th episode of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Entertainment Relay‘, the crew interviewed Han Ji Min on the set of an endorsement shoot. During the ‘Star on Air’ corner of the show, the 10-year-veteran actress was shown a video of responses from the actors who’ve played opposite her.


When the reporter asked how she thought Yoochun had answered, Han Ji Min responded, “That I eat a lot? Or that I’m like a neighborhood nuna he’s known for 10 years?” The reporter then revealed, “Yoochun said, ‘[She's the best in her field]. [She's the best to get to know]. I only knew her for 4 months, but I feel like she’s a friend I’ve known for 10 years.’”

[SPOILER] The ‘Monday Couple’ makes a small comeback on ‘Running Man’





On the newest episode of SBS‘s ‘Running Man, the cast members with guest Han Ji Min competed to determine who would be Han Ji Min’s true love.


As Song Ji Hyo met up with Han Ji Min, she said “I think Gary has confessed his love to you”, referring to the goal for the episode. Han Ji Min denied this, however, and Song Ji Hyo intercepted the other half of the ‘Monday Couple’ Gary to find out the truth.


“Do you really love Han Ji Min?” she asked, to which Gary responded, “My love is you”. The captions during that particular moment referenced the ‘leftover feelings’ for the ‘Monday Couple’, which came to an end earlier this year when it was revealed that Song Ji Hyo was dating the CEO of her company.

Kim Jae Dong confesses his love for Han Ji Min on ‘Running Man’





Entertainer Kim Jae Dong once again had viewers laughing at his attempt at winning the affections of yet another female celebrity


On the August 12th broadcast of ‘Running Man‘, the cast members as well as the viewers were surprised to see Han Ji Min respond kindly to Kim Jae Dong’s blatant attempt at earning the affections of the actress.


Kim Jae Dong, who made a special appearance on the show alongside the actress, laid his head on her lap and expressed his affections for her. Seeing this, Yoo Jae Suk expressed his shock, but contrary to his expectations, Han Ji Min returned Kim Jae Dong’s affections by patting his head.


Yoo Jae Suk advised, “You should quickly get up and slap him!” However, Han Ji Min replied, “Our sunbaenim [Kim Jae Dong], I feel bad for him.


However, when Kim Jae Dong decided to take things one step further by declaring, “I love you,” Han Ji Min responded with laughter as she walked away from him.


Meanwhile, on this episode, special guest Han Ji Min was given the mission to find her true love.

No one shows up to ‘Running Man’s impromptu fan signing events?





On the latest episode of ‘Running Man‘, the ‘Nation’s MC’ Yoo Jae Suk and his fellow members faced a slightly embarrassing situation that left once again had viewers laughin.


The August 12th broadcast of the show called for the members and guest Han Ji Min to hold impromptu fan signing events on Jeju Island in areas rarely bustling with people.


Seeing her location, Han Ji Min expressed her frustration as she asked, “Do people really even pass by here?”, as there was no one to be seen. With the lack of people around and the fan signing event mission doomed to end up in failure, the members themselves stepped up to recruit people to come to their signing events.


Yoo Jae Suk, in particular, tried to wave down a passing car, yelling out, “Aigo~!” However, the driver zoomed by, completely uninterested.


Unable to find anyone to sign autographs for, the ‘Nation’s MC’ then turned towards the ‘Running Man’ staff members and tried to force some of them to accept his signature. He further tried to persuade them by adding, “Don’t be embarrassed. I’ll write ‘Study Hard’ [along with the autograph for your children]. That is the number one comment that parents like seeing.”

Kim Jae Dong confesses to holding Han Ji Min’s hand secretly





Entertainer Kim Jae Dong confessed that he has previously secretly held hands with actress Han Ji Min!


On the upcoming episode of ‘Running Man‘, Han Ji Min is out to look for love. This episode titled ‘Find True Love’ will have men, with hidden identities, making surprise romantic proposals to Han Ji Min, and her mission will be to find them through the hints that she is given.


The goal of the members for this week’s race will be to prove to the actress that they are “Han Ji Min’s true love”, and fight  to win the affections of the actress.


Kim Jae Dong, who has previous experience hosting a program with the actress before, made an appearance and put the ‘Running Man’ members into a state of denial and shock when he revealed, “When we were filming our program together, there was a time when I held Han Ji Min’s hand under the table.” He then confidently declared that he is Han Ji Min’s true love.

TEEN TOP members reveal their ideal women: Actress Version





Although idol group  TEEN TOP is extremely active as musicians, the members revealed their desires to eventually give acting a try.


The boys revealed that when they get a break from their busy schedule, they enjoy watching K-dramas for the purpose of ‘image training’. They become one with the characters and try to imitate the lines and the emotional delivery.


As a follow up question, TEEN TOP was asked which actress they would like to work with if they had an opportunity to act in the future.


Member Niel chose actress Nam Sang Mi. He confessed, “I’ve liked Nam Sang Mi sunbae since the 4th grade. I fell for her when I saw her acting, and I also think she possesses a variety of charms.


Fellow member Chunji who has until now stated Moon Chae Won as his ideal type surprisingly changed his choice to actress Lee Min Jung. He explained, “Honestly, I really liked Moon Chae Won sunbae but after recently watching the drama ‘Big‘, Lee Min Jung sunbae became my ideal woman. She played her on-screen character really well, is a good actress, and is very cute. I hope I get the chance to act with her sometime in the future.


The youngest of the the group, Ricky, chose actress Han Ga In revealing, “She’s so beautiful. And she has a pretty smile.


And despite trying to say that he “doesn’t really know too many actresses“,TEEN TOP leader C.A.P confessed, “I was captivated by Han Ji Min sunbae. My usual ideal woman is one that is athletic and has tanned skin, but she was so pretty in this past drama [Rooftop Prince], so I began to like her.


Changjo chose actress Park Ha Sun, who is known for her graceful and poised image. He expressed his affection for the actress saying, “I watched sitcom ‘High Kick 3‘ without missing an episode. I know sunbae’s movie ‘Tone-Deaf Clinic‘ is being released soon and if she invited me, I would love to go and meet her.


Last but not least, L.Joe chose Ji Hyun Woo‘s current girlfriend, Yoo In Na as his ideal woman. He revealed, “We were in Japan when the [Yoo In Na-Ji Hyun Woo] articles first surfaced. The way senior Ji Hyun Woo revealed [his feelings] was pretty awesome. I put my spoon down for a moment while eating at a restaurant with our members [when I heard the news], but I’m still Yoo In Na sunbae’s fan.”

Han Ji Min has been pretty since she was in her mother’s womb?





Actress Han Ji Min has confessed that she has been a beauty since before she was even born.


On the most recent broadcast of SBS‘s ‘Running Man‘, the actress made an appearance on the show and joined the cast members in the ‘Jeju Island money race’.


During the episode when member Gary asked, “Since when were you so pretty?” the line used by Hyun Bin in the drama ‘Secret Garden‘ which then became a fad parodied by all, the actress sat there unable to answer. In response, Yoo Jae Suk mentioned, “When Kim Hee Sun guested on the show, she said she has been pretty since the day she was born.


After hearing those words, Han Ji Min stated, “I’ve been pretty since I was in my mother’s womb“, and drew laughter from all.

[SPOILER] Han Ji Min makes her entrance on ‘Running Man’





The latest episode of SBS‘s Running Man featured the beautiful actress, Han Ji Min, as they competed to win on picturesque Jeju island. The cast played their way through a variety of games and explored their beautiful surroundings.


During the final competition, everyone competed to win what was left of the money they had been issued prior to starting the race, and which they could’ve spent on various items during the course of the day.


In the final round, four people eventually remained – Han Ji Min and HaHa, and Lee Kwang Soo and Ji Suk Jin.


After Lee Kwang Soo succeeded in ripping off HaHa’s nametag, the two remaining members of the Red Team ganged up on Han Ji Min. Although she struggled against the opposing side, her nametag was eventually torn off and the Red Team celebrated her victory.


Han Ji Min tried to get solace, saying “I came out here, let me try ripping a nametag”, expressing her disappointment at the loss. The Red Team allowed her to rip their nametags – but  in a dramatic reveral, Han Ji Min revealed that she had purchased another nametag in secret. Thanks to her superb acting abilities, she grabbed the final trophy on this episode of ‘Running Man’.

Han Ji Min to make an appearance on this week’s broadcast of ‘Running Man’





With actress Han Ji Min having been spotted filming for ‘Running Man‘ recently, fans had been anticipating more news about when the exact episode would air.


A staff member from SBS revealed on August 2nd, “The episode of ‘Running Man’ that Han Ji Min participated in will air August 5th. The cast was divided into Song Ji Hyos team and Han Ji Min’s team, and the episode was filmed with the concept of going on a retreat.


The staff member continued, “Han Ji Min is clever and also works extremely hard. She has the right skills that are necessary for variety programs, and there is also a surprising twist in the episode that will not disappoint.


By taking on roles in successful dramas such as ‘Padam Padam‘ and ‘Rooftop Prince‘, Han Ji Min received even more love and praise for not only her acting talents, but her natural beauty as well. It was also revealed that Han Ji Min has been carrying out acts of kindness that have not been made public, and fans who heard the news only fell further in love with the actress.

JYJ’s Jaejoong playfully demands to know where Yoochun is to Han Ji Min







JYJ‘s Jaejoong revealed his comical search for fellow member Yoochun in his latest Twitter update!


On June 25th, Jaejoong uploaded a picture of himself playfully grabbing the head of actress Han Ji Min. Playing on her previous role with Yoochun in their drama, ‘Rooftop Prince‘, Jaejoong wrote, “Answer me. Where is Yoochun!”


Netizens commented, “It looks like he’s carressing her face on first glance”, “He’s hilarious”, and “Yes, where is Yoochun~?”


Jaejoong is currently starring in his drama, ‘Time Slip Dr. Jin‘.

YoonA voted the female star who most reminds people of their first love





Girls’ Generation‘s YoonA was chosen as the number one female star who reminds people of their first love.


A community photo site, DC Inside, held a survey asking, “Which female star reminds you of your first love?” from May 22 to 29. The results revealed that YoonA received 6278 votes (42.7%) out of 1,4711 votes, ranking first.


YoonA is loved by fans for her innocent appearance, delicate figure, and cheerful charm. Her charms in the recent drama, ‘Love Rain‘, where she had double roles as elegant Kim Yoonhee and pure hearted Jung Hana, further strengthened her particular appeal.


Following YoonA, actress Han Hyo Joo ranked second with 4219 votes (28.7%), and Han Ji Min ranked third with 1271 votes (8.6%).


Stars such as Moon Geun Young, miss A‘s Suzy, and Han Ga In also made the list.

Han Ji Min spotted caressing Park Yoochun’s cheeks





A clip of the SBSRooftop Prince‘ cast members taking a few final pictures together recently went viral, causing fans to once again turn their attention towards the Lee Gak-Park Ha couple.


The video titled, ‘Park Ha caressing Gak’s cheeks after taking group picture’ was recently posted on an online community forum.


Throughout the drama, Park Ha and Lee Gak portrayed a sweet and savory love story that transcended 300 years, and their close relationship in real life as Park Yoochun and Han Ji Min warmed the hearts of fans.


In the clip, Park Yoo Chun was caught patting Han Ji Min’s back after the shoot and Han Ji was spotted caressing Park Yoo Chun’s cheek, further creating a close and heartwarming atmosphere on set.

What do Park Yoochun and Han Ji Min plan to do now that ‘Rooftop Prince’ is over?





The actors behind the “Gak-Ha Couple” from the SBS drama ‘Rooftop Prince‘, Park Yoochun and Han Ji Min, are raising eyebrows because of their similar answers to questions about their free time.


The actors have been incredibly busy with endorsements after the drama ended, and apparently, the two plan on going on trips, separately, to finally rest. After the final broadcast of ‘Rooftop Prince’ on May 24, they’re reported to have not been able to relax for even one day. They both stated when asked what they’d do with their free time: “I’ll rest no matter what happens.”


Yoochun is planning to go to the hospital to check up on an injury he suffered during filming. The actor is reported to not be feeling well as he’s been also touring the world with JYJ from the beginning of the year. Management agency C-Jes Entertainment stated, “He plans to rest and revitalize his health.”


The JYJ member will be flying overseas this June on a vacation, and Han Ji Min is reported to be planning a trip abroad in June as well.

On May 25th, Han Ji Min posted, “As long as you have our memories, we can be together forever. The warm heart and overflowing love you have always given me. I will remember you even after 300 years pass.


The photo seems to have been taken during the middle of filming ‘Rooftop Prince’. Fans are commenting that they truly do look like they brought the 300-year-old love of their characters, Lee Gak and Park Ha, to life.

Park Yoochun, JYJ member and star of the drama ’Rooftop Prince‘, shared a cute photo he took with co-star Han Ji Min.
