Brown Eyed Girls’ Ga In gets glamorous and sexy for ‘Woman Chosun’

Brown Eyed Girls‘ Ga In transformed into a cold, city woman for the September issue of ‘Woman Chosun‘. The concept revolved around the theme “glamorous and sexy”.

Ga In stated in an interview with the magazine, “Because I’m on the short side [in comparison to other stars], it looks awkward on camera if I have a long hairstyle or I wear long pants. That’s why I have my hair short, and I wear short clothing.”

She added, “I’ve recently gotten into wine. If the wine is too much of a waste to drink by myself, [me and my friends] spread a mat next to the Han River park, listen to music on the radio, and [drink out of the bottle].”

In relation to her dating life, Ga In commented, “I’m not the type who can approach someone first. I think it’s better to have someone who loves me more. Until I meet that kind of person, I think it’ll be hard to open my heart.”

Ga-In shows off a bit of skin through a new catalog for ‘Yes’

Brown Eyed Girls‘ Ga-In has bared a bit of skin in the newest photos from ‘Yes‘.

On August 28th, casual inner-wear brand ‘Yes‘ revealed a few photos from the fall collection’s catalog featuring their endorsement model Ga-In. The concept of this season is ‘Contemporary Lovely’, and showcases various lingerie styles geared towards women in their 20′s. Ga-In, who is becoming noted as a style icon, exposed her animated yet coy side through the new pictures rather than the stronger and charismatic side she displays on stage.

Psy to visit U.S. again in September

Singer Psy, who returned to Seoul on Saturday from his trip to the U.S. where he met American pop star Justin Beiber’s manager Scooter Braun, is to make another visit to the foreign country next month.

“Nothing has been set in stone,” the singer said about his career opportunities in the U.S., upon his arrival at Incheon International Airport on Saturday.

“I think there will be a lot of fun events in future.”

Psy, whose title track of his latest album “Gangnam Style” has received sensational reviews worldwide since its release last month, flew to Los Angeles on Aug 15.

There he reportedly had a personal get-together with Braun, who also runs his own label Boy Records and a joint label-and-media company Raymond Braun Media Group with pop star Usher.

“Psy has been scheduled to do a number of things in Korea including shooting some commercials,” said YG Entertainment, Psy’s local agency. “Once he’s finished with all of that, he’ll make another trip to the U.S. early next month. We cannot reveal any details, but the next trip will be about something promising.”

Psy’s “Gangnam Style” music video has racked up more than 55 million hits on YouTube since its release.

The collection of photos that have been making its way around on online portals feature After School‘s NaNa and Lizzy, T-ara‘s Jiyeon, miss A‘s Min, and Brown Eyed Girls‘ Ga In and Narsha.

The pictures surprised many who are unfamiliar with the differences in image that eye makeup can create, for the members give off a more fresh and innocent charm in their before pictures rather than the sexy image they usually show off on stage.

Netizens responded, “The importance of makeup“, “Makeup alone can make people look so different“, and “The before and after pictures are surprising.”

Actors Joo Sang Wook and Go Chang Suk join cast of upcoming film ‘The Joseon Beautiful Three Musketeers’

Actors Joo Sang Wook and Go Chang Suk have joined the cast of the upcoming film ‘The Joseon Beautiful Three Musketeers’!

Directed by Park Jae Hyun, ‘The Josen Beautiful Three Musketeers’ is an action-comedy film set in the Joseon Dynasty and revolves around three, beautiful musketeers who fight against a group trying to overthrow the royal family and take over the nation.

Go Chang Suk will be taking on the role of a nameless mentor to the three beautiful musketeers. His character is bound to draw much laughter as he is always being looked down upon by the three musketeers due to his careless mistakes.

On the otherhand, Joo Sang Wook will play the role of warrior ‘Sa Hyun’ who threatens the lives of the three musketeers. He will put the leader of the three musketeers at risk with his superb martial art skills.

As previously reported, actresses Ha Ji Won, Kang Ye Won, and Brown Eyed Girls‘ Ga In have been cast as the beautiful trio.

Ha Ji Won will be playing the leader of the three musketeers, ‘Jin Ok’. Kang Ye Won will be playing ‘Hong Dan’, a tough, married woman, and Ga In will take on the role of maknae ‘Gabi’, who expresses herself through movement rather than by speaking.

Filming will begin at the end of this month and is scheduled to hit theaters next year.

Brown Eyed Girls’ Ga In confirmed for upcoming film ‘The Joseon Beautiful Three Musketeers’

Brown Eyed Girls‘ Ga In will be working with actresses Ha Ji Won and Kang Ye Won for the upcoming film, ‘The Joseon Beautiful Three Musketeers‘.

According to the movie representative on August 14th, Ga In has been confirmed as the final lead role, completing the trio. This will mark her second big screen appearance, following ‘My Love by My Side‘ (aka ‘Closer to Heaven‘) back in 2009.

Actress Ha Ji Won will be playing the leader of the three musketeers, Jin Ok, Kang Ye Won will be playing the role of Hong Dan, and Ga In will take on the role of maknae Gabi.

With only a day left before Brown Eyed Girls makes their comeback, Nega Network has finally unveiled their last teaser image featuring maknae Ga-In!

The teaser image surfaced on Brown Eyed Girls’ official Twitter page along with the message, “Finally D-1!! Here’s Ga-In’s teaser photo, which many of you have been anxious for!”

Similar to Miryo‘s teaser photo, the alluring maknae is seen standing against a white backdrop and giving off a chic pose while wearing a summery ensemble with a pair of electric blue sandals.

Brown Eyed Girls will be dropping their digital single, ‘The Original‘, and MV on July 17th.

Brown Eyed Girls’ Ga-In complains about leader JeA’s gluttony for meat

Brown Eyed Girls‘ leader JeA‘s gluttonous side has surprised viewers.

The singer guest-featured on the July 9th broadcast of MBC‘s ‘Come to Play’ along with Sun (Wonder Girls), Gyuri (KARA), Victoria (f(x)), Hyorin (SISTAR), and Hyosung (Secret) for a ‘Battle of the Girls‘ leader special.

During the episode, entertainer Kim Nayoung and Baechu shared some of the complaints members from the respective idol groups had against their group leaders.

Maknae Ga-In vented out her anger to leader JeA by writing, “We’re so dumbfounded by our leader! Whenever we all go out to eat at a restaurant, she eats all 10 servings of meat by herself. She eats so much that it’s embarrassing going to a restaurant with her.”

Upon hearing Ga-In’s complaint, JeA quickly defended herself saying, “They eat that much, too!” and remarked, “Because expensive meat comes in small portions, 10 servings are actually not a lot. You can finish eating it in no time.”

Son Dam Bi to make a comeback in August

Sexy diva Son Dam Bi is gearing up to make her return to the music industry after a temporary hiatus.

Having wrapped up filming for her drama ‘Light and Shadow‘ and earning compliments for her improved acting skills, Son Dam Bi is getting ready to make her return to music.

On July 6th, a representative of her agency revealed, “Son Dam Bi is putting all her efforts into preparing her new album. She is in the final stages of choosing her songs and has already completed her album jacket photoshoot.”

“Son Dam Bi is scheduled to make a comeback in the beginning of August, so she is currently handling a busy schedule as she still has her recording and music video filming left to complete,” he continued.

Although the concept has not been completely finalized, it has been revealed that the singer will be returning with a dance track to heat up the summer even more with an accompanying sexy choreography.

As Brown Eyed Girls‘ Ga-In is also reported to be getting ready for a solo comeback soon, music fans are curious to see how the two soloists will fare with both expected to release their tracks around the same time period.

It seems as though Brown Eyed Girls‘ Ga-In has been tuning in to the Euro 2012 matches, which has been taking place since June 8th.

On June 23rd, composer Lee Min Soo, the mastermind behind past hits such as Brown Eyed Girls’ “Sixth Sense“, “Abracadabra“, IU‘s “Good Day“, Sunny Hill‘s “The Grasshopper Song“, and more, left several posts on Twitter to update fans on the latest about maknae Ga-In.

In addition to sharing the three photos of the singer (below), he wrote:

Brown Eyed Girls‘ Ga In refuted J.Y. Park‘s wild life image.

On June 10th’s airing of SBS‘ ‘You & I‘, Ga In guest starred with J.Y.Park and commented on his actual self.

Ga In shared, “Before I got to know J.Y. Park sunbae, I thought he had the image of living a wild life. But I learned that it was actually because he expressed it so well on stage.”

She continued, “He’s so innocent and when I still see him sometimes I honestly have a little bit of protective instinct for him,” which made J.Y. Park laugh.

J.Y. Park  also commented on his image before performing “You’re the One” by saying to the audience, “Do I really look like a delinquent? Celebrities don’t have anything once you look at them from up close. I especially go to bed early and wake up early, but why are the women so anxious?”

Earlier, Brown Eyed Girls‘ Ga-In‘s poster cuts for her new show ‘Launch My Life – Ga In’s Fashion King‘ was revealed.

Since then, an unedited photo taken backstage during the photoshoot surfaced on an online community site, drawing the attention of her fans.

In the photo, Ga-In is wearing unique kill-heels like a true fashion king to match her short black dress. Despite her short height, Ga-In is known for her beautiful legs and an amazing ‘golden ratio’ body. However, as the bulky shoes did nothing for her figure as it made her legs seem shorter, fans lamented that perhaps a different pair of shoes could have been chosen.

Although the star is short in stature, there’s no denying the amount of charisma she exudes in the photo shoot. As everyone is preparing their closets for the hotter weather, Ga In showed off her own take on summer fashion styles with unique and colorful ideas that incorporate vivid stripes and neon patterns. Singer and producer J.Y.Park and Brown Eyed Girl‘s Ga In took a celebratory photo for their duet song, “Someone Else“.

On May 19th, J.Y.Park tweeted a photo with the message, “They say an artist’s life follows the songs he sings… hmm.”

In the photo, Ga In is happily hugging J.Y.Park, while the producer makes a “bad boy” smirk. He is also holding up a cake decorated with the title of their song, which can be directly translated as “In the Arms of Someone Else”.

In related news, the song “Someone Else” is J.Y.Park’s first collaboration with Ga In. The track portrays the feelings of a broken couple who are each with someone else, but are unable to forget each other.
