SISTAR’s Hyorin appears on ‘Comedy Big League 3′

Hyorin of SISTAR impressed comedians with her gag skills on tvN‘s Comedy Big League 3‘.

On the July 28th broadcast, Hyorin stood on stage with the winning team, Gae-parta (playful mix of words, Dog and Sparta).

In the skit, Hyorin went to ‘Mask ball’ at a club after an invite from CEO of Yang-ggun (Kim Min Soo). According to an insider, the audience of 500 people all welcomed her with cheers so loud they could’ve blown the stage away.

Hyorin showed her comedic side by playing a girl whose personality changes completely when her mask comes on. Before the mask is on, she is cute like any other girl group member, but when she hides her face behind the mask, she unleashes her sexy dance and witty comments.

The production crew complimented, “Her surprise appearance was hotter than when world pop star Will.I.Am appeared at our show.”

Gae-parta’s Yoo Nam Suk remarked, “Hyroin arrived four hours before the recording [despite how busy she is] with her schedule. That’s why we did this well today.

Who did the best parody of G-Dragon’s ‘seaweed’ hairstyle?

On April 20th, Big Bang made an appearance as a guest on SBS’s ‘Go Show‘ and leader G-Dragon talked about his exotic hairstyle, which fans have called the ‘seaweed’ hairstyle.

As ‘Go Show”s MC Go Hyun Jung asked G-Dragon how he felt about his new hairstyle becoming a hot issue, the trendmaker answered, “My hairstyle has both pros and cons. It looks really fancy and cool on stage, but all the hair kept on getting inside my mouth during concerts.

He continued, “But I found a solution to this problem. Now when I rap, I lean my head slightly to the right so that my hair doesn’t get in the way. Also, sometimes when I hit my hair, it returns back to its original position!

G-Dragon’s hairstyle has been nicknamed the ‘seaweed’ hairstyle and has been parodied by various comedians in different comedy and variety programs.

On March 24th, comedian Ahn Young Mi copied the hairstyle on tvN’s ‘Comedy Big League‘. Also, comedian Yang Se Hyung dressed up as G-Dragon with the seaweed hair on the April 3rd episode of SBS’s ‘Strong Heart‘. On the same show, comedian Boom brought in actual seaweed to show a hilarious parody of the singer as well!

Also, even though not shown on the ‘Go Show’, national MC Yoo Jae Suk seems to have wanted the same hairstyle as G-Dragon, as he transformed into ‘G-Drasuk’ on SBS’s ‘Running Man‘!
