4minute members Sohyun and HyunA left fans amused with their latest selcas.

On the 11th, Sohyun posted a photo on her twitter along with the words, “In Macao. Kekeke Kwon-na Lisa and Hyun-na Lisa ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Kekekeke”

The two had concealed their brows as much as possible to achieve a no brow effect and parody the famous artwork, ‘Mona Lisa’.

Netizens commented on the photo saying, “These unnees are pretty even without eyebrows” and “I was completely shocked when I first saw the photo“.

Sohyun ranks 4minute members based on looks on ’4minute’s Travel Maker’

4minute recently revealed the members’ ranking based on looks on QTV‘s ‘4minute’s Travel Maker‘.

Maknae Sohyun received the question: “Rank 4minute members based on their looks”, to which she immediately gave her opinion without hesitation, showing her bold personality.

Based purely on facial appearance and not on her figure, member HyunA placed last.

Sohyun ranked, “2nd place Gayoon, 3rd place Jihyun, 4th place Jiyoon, and last place is HyunA unni.” The other members were accepting of the placement and tried to look calm in the midst of the maknae’s bold statement.

She continued confidently, “I’m first place. My value is increasing a lot right now. It’s my new transformation phase,” gaining herself sharp looks from her unnis, who couldn’t back any longer.

G.NA and 4minute take a train ride to?

4minute and fellow labelmate G.NA went on a trip by train.

On the morning of June 20th, G.NA tweeted during the train ride, “Today, I rode the KTX train and went on a trip with our 4minute baby girls! You must be curious about where we’re going, right?!! Keke, it’s been a while since we’ve all been together like this~ ^^.”

Along with the cheerful update, G.NA attached a picture (above) of herself goofing around with the 4minute members.

She wasn’t the only one enthusiastic about the trip. 4minute’s maknae Sohyun posted a photo with a sleepy HyunA in the background along with the message, “Where do you think we’re going, riding on the KTX train~~~??? [Look, it's] the sno~~ring Hyuna unni~~^^!!!!! Ke.”

Jihyun, took a simple, cute selca of herself at the train station and posted, “This feeling of riding the KTX train~~. The unni who is ’2Hot’ these days and our 4-4-4-4-4minute [members] are going around in today’s nice weather. [Our] destination [is a] secret!! Sh.”

4minute’s Jiyoon, Gayoon, and Sohyun celebrate their 3rd year anniversary

4minute‘s Jiyoon, Gayoon, and Sohyun have greeted their fans with a set of selcas in celebration of their 3rd year anniversary! 4minute officially debuted with “Hot Issue” on Mnet’s M! Countdown back on June 18, 2009.

On June 18th, maknae Sohyun uploaded the visual treat shown above along with the attached message, “3 years! Kekekekekeke [it's] Jiyoon, Sohyun, [and] Gayoon.” In addition to verbally mentioning the number of years since 4minute’s debut, the three members also stuck out three fingers in the pictures, showcasing an uncommon yet cute pose.

Earlier on the same day, Sohyun also posted a set of selcas of herself with a longer message for her fans, saying, “Today is 4minute’s 3 year anniversary. Hee. The time has flown by so quickly. 3rd year anniversary picture parade, keke. Thank you [4NiAs] for taking care of us and for loving us for these three years. In the future, let’s also go forward together. Ke. Thank you.”

Fans who have seen the pictures and tweets commented, “A big congratulations to 4minute on their 3rd year anniversary,” “The 4minute who has made it to the 3-year mark, go, go (keep going) until you have reached 10 years!,” and “I truly congratulate you, 4minute, for your 3rd year anniversary.”

4minute’s Sohyun prank calls f(x)’s Sulli on ‘Beatles Code 2′

4minute‘s Sohyun‘s surprise prank call which almost led to f(x)‘s Sulli shedding tears.

On a recent broadcast of Mnet‘s ‘Beatles Code 2‘, a few of the guests members were asked to test their friendship with other celebrities through a prank call.

When it was Sohyun’s turn, the singer decided to test none other than her close friend, Sulli. As soon as she answered the phone, Sohyun began her hidden prank by asking, “I’m having a hard time. Are you able to meet right now?”

Sulli replied saying that she was currently at her house in Ilsan but in order to have Sulli come out, Sohyun casually continued, “Do you at least have time to meet later in the morning? I want to get something off my chest, but I don’t know who to talk to.”

But to everyone’s surprise, Sulli suddenly responded by saying that she’d call her back and tried hanging up. Taken aback, Sohyun immediately tried to keep her on the line which caused Sulli arouse with suspicion. “Are you with somebody right now? You’re playing a prank, aren’t you?”

This prompted MC Shindong to break in and reveal the current situation. Surprised by the prank call, Sulli said, “I suddenly feel like tears are coming,” which led Sohyun to express her apologetic feelings.

When asked why she tried to hang up, Sulli explained, “I’m with my family so I was going to ask them whether she could come over. My friends frequently visit my house and it seemed like Sohyun was having a difficult time alone. Therefore I was going to suggest her to come over so we could cheer her up.”

Others that had participated in this segment were 4minute’s HyunA, who prank called her “Trouble Maker” duet partner, B2ST‘s Jang Hyunseung, Jihyun, who called Super Junior‘s Donghae, and Shoo prank called Eugene.

Super Junior’s Donghae shows his loyalty to 4minute’s Jihyun on ‘Beatles Code 2′

Super Junior‘s Donghae has been dubbed as a “warm city man” for his caring act towards 4minute‘s Jihyun.

The latest recording of Mnet‘s ‘Beatles Code 2‘ featured the members of 4minute putting on a hidden camera show against their close celebrity friends.

MC Shindong suggested that Jihyun pretend to act like she needs to borrow money for her hidden camera act, which she readily agreed to.

Jihyun called up Donghae and carefully asked, “Can you lend me money?” Donghae replied back, “How much do you need? If it’s an emergency, you don’t have to tell me. It doesn’t matter if you don’t pay me back either.”

All of the women on set immediately fell in love with his loyal, dependable charm upon hearing his response.

Shindong jealously asked back, “How come when I ask to borrow money, you always ask me about every little detail?”

Sohyun‘s hidden camera was with f(x)‘s Sulli, a ’94-line friend, to whom she asked, “I’m going through a hard time. Can you come see me?” In response, Sulli came to console her friend and pat her warmly on the back.

Netizens spot a caption mistake on ’1000 Song Challenge’

Eagle-eyed netizens are at it again as they have recently spotted a caption mistake during 4minute‘s introduction on the May 20th broadcast of SBS‘s ‘1000 Song Challenge‘.

MC Lee Hwi Jae opened the program stating, “May 20th is Korea’s ‘Together Day’ (a special day that promotes peace between Koreans and foreigners living together in one place). We can now view the world as one. We can harmonize through music.”

Each cast members were then introduced along with captions of their names. However, once members Jeon Jiyoon and Kwon Sohyun of 4minute were introduced, viewers had discovered a small caption mistake on one of the members. Instead of “Kwon”, the program had aired “Park” as Sohyun’s surname.

Fans immediately left comments to grieve their complaints about the mistake saying, “They’re wearing name tags for a reason“, “I’m more surprised that this was spotted“, and more.

Upcoming girl group trio D-Unit unveils second member

D-Business‘s upcoming girl group, D-Unit, has released a teaser image of their second member!

Previously, the group received atention for also including member Wooram, the sister of T-ara‘s Boram. Dressed in the same black concept as shown before, second member Soojin is seen exuding a powerful type of charisma unseen in the current market. Born in 1993, Soojin is the team’s vocalist.

Their debut single, which was writen and composed entirely by Wooram, will include a featuring by rapper Dok2 in their title track, “Crush“.

Their debut is just a month away, but until then, check back for their third and final member!

4minute’s JiSo couple vs Double Yoon couple

4minute member Jiyoon shared some adorable couple shots taken with fellow members Sohyun and Gayoon.

On May 11th, Jiyoon tweeted, “JiSo Couple vs Double Yoon Couple. Eee hee hee.”

Although the idol pitted both couple shots against each other, fans are saying she makes a cute “couple” with both Sohyun and Gayoon. In the left photo, Jiyoon seems like a caring unnie, standing beside the maknae of the group, Sohyun. When partnered up with Gayoon, Jiyoon looks like the maknae herself.

Followers were intrigued by both shots and commented, “You look good with both of them“, “So beautiful~“, and “JiSo is the cute couple, hehe“.

4minute’s Sohyun reveals she once debuted under a group called “Orange”

4minute‘s Sohyun revealed her past about her debut under an elementary school student group called “Orange“.

On the April 2nd broadcast of MBC‘s ‘Come to Play‘, the MCs questioned Sohyun, “How did you end up debuting?“, to which she began by saying, “I’ve always wanted to become a singer ever since I was young.”

She explained, “I joined a no-name company and was active under a no-name group.” Sohyun made her first debut in 2005 under an elementary student group called “Orange”. She then described the struggles she had gone through at the time stating, “I ended up not wanting to become a singer after seeing so many negative comments.”

Then how did Sohyun end up debuting with 4minute? She continued, “When I was in middle school, I heard news that a school senior was going to debut. It made me feel so small. That’s when I began registering for audition academies… I met a representative of an agency there and that’s when I became a trainee in just two months.”

SISTAR‘s Soyu, who was about to debut under 4minute, had to withdraw from the group due to unavoidable circumstances, and Sohyun was able to take her spot to make her debut with the group.

4minute‘s Sohyun wished her fellow member, Nam Jihyun, a happy birthday.

On January 9th, she tweeted, “Our Nam Jihyun! It’s her birthday~We had a small party at the filming site.”

Sohyun added, “Fans~Thank you for singing happy birthday to Jihyun unni! Happy birthday, unni~I love you!”

In her attached photo, Jihyun beams happily as she cuts into her birthday cake. Fellow member Gayoon stands next to her, looking on contentedly. Both girls wore teal windbreakers with name labels on the front, proving that they were filming for the upcoming MBC special, ‘Idol Star Athletics and Swimming Championships‘.

TEEN TOP’s L. Joe asks 4minute’s Sohyun to be his girlfriend?

Last week, 4minute‘s maknae Sohyun shared a photo taken with TEEN TOP‘s L. Joe from the set of TEEN TOP’s “Going Crazy” music video. Some speculated that the photo was an actual couple shot, since the two were sitting cozily side-by-side.

Fortunately, the mystery was solved after TEEN TOP released their new music video today. In the video, L. Joe plays the love interest of Sohyun, who refuses his confession at first. She accepts it later on when they’re alone, calling L. Joe “Stupid” and chiding him for asking her to be his girlfriend in front of his friends.

To commemorate the MV’s release, L. Joe shared a new photo with Sohyun from the set along with the tweet, “Babo~ (Stupid). Do you want to be my girl friend?”

Group 4minute‘s youngest member Sohyun recently revealed a curious photo of her “date”.

She revealed the photo through her Twitter with the description, “Will you be my boyfriend?” – puzzling all her fans.

In the photo, Sohyun is sitting with a bashful smile next to a guy whose face cannot be seen.

The tweet caused various reactions amongst fans for some commented with, “I really want to know who that guy is” and “Tell us when you will reveal this guy,” While others said, “Maybe it is a teaser photo?” and “Maybe this is another unit group after HyunA & Hyunseung, and the ‘Double Yoon’s?”

4minute’s Sohyun thanks London after successful Cube concert

4minute‘s Sohyun and her labelmates recently rocked London, England with their Cube Entertainment concert. On December 6th, the idol tweeted a sweet message to her fans, thanking them for a wonderful night.

The message read: “We finished the concert. It was such a fun stage, and it was really awesome! Thank you London. I took this picture before ‘Fly So High‘!”

4minute, along with BEAST and G.NA, held a family concert named ‘United Cube In London‘ at the Brixton Academy in London. As the kick-off to their world tour, Cube also plans to perform in Brazil later on this month.

Going back to the tweet, Sohyun drew compliments with her attached selca, which saw her giving a slight smile for the camera despite her exhaustion.

On November 26th, she tweeted, “Before stage [performance], with Jin Taek oppa~“.
