Eun Ji Won ages backwards?

Former Sechskies member Eun Ji Won‘s appearance change has become a hot topic.

Eun Ji Won appeared on the April 6th broadcast of SBS’s ‘100 Million Won Quiz Show‘ and changed so drastically that he was virtually unrecognizable.

On the broadcast, Eun Ji Won wore a striped shirt with a black jacket displaying a simple, but sophisticated fashion.  His new short haircut also made him look younger than he actually is.

During the broadcast, Eun Ji Won said, “When we were thinking up names for Sechskies, because we were six members, we almost got named yukgaejang (yukgaejang is hot spicy beef stew in Korea, but the first character yuk is also the word for six),” and made all the guests burst out in laughter.

Netizens who watched the program said, ”He looks as if he is back in the days he promoted as Sechskies“, and “I think he can debut once again as an idol.  He got even better looking.”

Eun Ji Won gives advice to Tony An who is looking for a potential spouse

Singer Tony An (34) revealed that he would like to marry a woman who can handle her alcohol, and newlywed Eun Ji Won (34) had some words of advice for him.

Original idol group members Tony An and Eun Ji Won guest-featured on the April 6th episode of SBS ‘100 Million Won Quiz Show‘ and was asked about the first thing they look for in a potential spouse. The two were given a multiple-choice style of answers to choose from, including ‘economic status’ and ‘personality’.

Both selected ‘economic status’, but when MC Kim Yong Man asked the single Tony what he looks for in a potential spouse, Tony answered, “If you had to pick one or the other, I guess personality would be more important.”

“But honestly, I like girls that drink well. Someone who can drink comfortably with me and be with me a long while,” he continued.

Kim Yong Man then asked Eun Ji Won what he likes best about being married. He answered, “I like that I have someone who will take my side for the rest of my life.”

And as a more experienced married man, Eun Ji Won had some words of advice for Tony. “More than a woman that can well handle her alcohol, a woman that sleeps a lot and doesn’t like to wake up is the best.. and doesn’t wake up with the slightest noise… doesn’t she sound so lovable?” he said, giving him a thumbs up. His ‘advice’ caused fellow married men Kim Yong Man and Cho Hyung Ki, who could all relate as fellow married men, burst into laughs.

BEAST’s Yoseob and A Pink’s Eunji spotted together

What’s going on between BEAST‘s Yoseob and A Pink‘s Eunji?

Earlier today, A Pink‘s agency A-Cube tweeted the above picture of two artists hanging out together. The picture is causing quite the stir among fans, as it features two famous idols looking friendly with Yoseob looking at her with a gentle expression on his face.

But not to worry, for those BEAST and A Pink fans out there! It seems like the two have gotten together to work on perhaps an upcoming collaboration, for the two groups have a history working with each other. BEAST’s agency, Cube Entertainment, and A Pink‘s A-Cube agency have a very close relationship, and the two idol groups worked together on CFs as well as performances on stage. In fact, some of the A Pink members have spent their trainee days at Cube Entertainment.

With all that said, it seems like the picture will bring a lot of attention to the two idols and whatever they’re working on together.

Eun Ji Won reveals he actually proposed to his wife twice

Singer Eun Ji Won guest-featured on the February 28th episode of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Win Win‘ and shared how his relationship with his wife came to be.

Eun Ji Won studied abroad in Hawaii for some time, and fell in love at first sight upon seeing his wife who was working at a restaurant there. He too began working at the restaurant, and their relationship took off. He confessed that even while he was an idol star, he maintained a long-distance relationship with his now-wife.

But the singer admitted that over time, he stopped contacting her regularly and gradually they stopped contacting each other altogether. He then called her out of the blue five years later, asking her to marry him.

“Then I thought, ‘Why am I getting married again‘?” he said. After proposing for the first time, he did not call her again for another three years.

Hearing his absurd story, MC Kim Seung Woo remarked, “What is that? You’re not even one of those ‘bad guys’, you’re just a ‘crazy guy’!”

“Now I realize how cruel that was,” he admitted. He mustered up the courage to call her again and asked her to marry him, but for real this time.

The MCs were able to give his wife a surprise call, and asked how she felt at the time. “I felt really betrayed,” she said. “I realized what an irresponsible guy he was, and that I shouldn’t ever meet him. But when I did, everything was forgiven.”

She went on to reveal that when the two had met again, Eun Ji Won could not say a single word. He simply held her hand and could not stop the tears from flowing from his eyes.

Eun Ji Won explains why he decided to leave ’1N2D’

On the February 28th episode of KBS2‘s ‘Win Win‘, guest Eun Ji Won shared his thoughts on leaving ‘1N2D‘ after five long years.

The singer who decided not to join the second season remarked, “My wife, my family, and others around me asked me if I was crazy,” and admitted that he gave the second season a lot of thought.

“My character is stubborn and whiney, but I suddenly realized that I too had matured,” he said, explaining his reasons. “There’s a limit to how much you can push that kind of image. Thinking about doing it again just made me laugh.”

“A piece of me wanted to stay, but I have no regrets,” he continued. “I know myself too well. This was the right time. The only thing is, I feel a little uneasy beacause Soo Geun hyung and the others were staying. I felt like I was the only one breaking away.”

Eun Ji Won to appear solo on a talk show for the first time in 15 years

Eun Ji Won, the “nation’s elementary schooler” is becoming a hot topic because of his scheduled appearance on ‘Win Win.’

Eun Ji Won, whose antics on ‘1 Night 2 Days‘ have drawn much attention and earned him the nickname “Eun choding” (elementary schooler), will be appearing by himself on a talk show for the first time in 15 years since his debut, and will be revealing many stories which have never been publicized or aired.

During the recording of ‘Win Win,’ he revealed a sobering episode from his time on ’1N2D’ which deviated from the usual light-hearted, comedic tone of the show. He also drew the audience’s attention when he confessed for the first time why he finally decided to leave ’1N2D’ after spending five years with his castmates.

He also revealed for the first time his earnest love story with his wife, in which he was able to finally marry his first love after 13 years, much like a happy ending to a movie.

In addition to these stories, he also shared a story from his time as the leader of one of the top idol groups in the 1990s, Sechskies, and revealed stories of not “Eun Ji Won the entertainer,” but “Eun Ji Won the musician.”

Eun Ji Won to open up about his decision to leave ’1N2D’ on ‘Win Win’

The nation’s most beloved ‘choding’ (elementary school-er), Eun Ji Won, will be revealing the reason why he decided not to stay on as a member of ’1N2D’ on ‘Win Win’.

According to the production team, Eun Ji Won will be starring on the episode scheduled to be broadcast on February 28th. This will be the first time in 15 years since his debut that he will be making a solo appearance on a talk show.

The artist will be discussing various episodes that occurred during the filming of ’1N2D’ and what led him to decide to leave the show, for the first time.

Eun Ji Won, who has never really opened up about his love life, will also be describing the ardent love story, and why it took 13 years for him and his wife to get married – making this an episode you won’t want to miss!

His past as a member of Sechskies and his life as singer Eun Ji Won, rather than entertainer, will also be dicussed on this episode.

KBS hints that Lee Seung Gi and Eun Ji Won may not return for ’1N2D’ season 2

TV network KBS have started promotions for the sequel to popular variety show, ‘1 Night 2 Days’ (or ‘1N2D‘).

Recently, a KBS entertainment program brought up the show’s second season during a preview segment and left a hint as to who would not be returning.

The newscaster said, “Though Kim C, Kang Ho Dong, and even Na PD have left ‘1N2D’, there is still season two to look forward to.” She followed up by saying, “Goodbye Lee Seung Gi and Eun Ji Won.”

Though the mention was brief, fans of the show immediately began to buzz over the name-drops of Lee Seung Gi and Eun Ji Won. Many suspected that it would be these two entertainers who will be officially leaving the show.

As reported earlier, a representative from KBS said that they felt a name change for season two of ’1N2D’ would not be necessary, as the only things that would be changing are its cast members.

The last episode of ‘1N2D’ is scheduled to be filmed on February 10th, and the first episode of season two will be shot on February 24th.

Eun Ji Won returns to ‘Come To Play’

Singer/entertainer Eun Ji Won will be returning to MBC‘s ‘Come To Play’ after 2 years and 4 months.

On January 5th, his agency told Star News, “Eun Ji Won just completed his shoot for ‘Come To Play’ recently, and will be reuniting with the viewers through its broadcast on the 9th… He has once again stepped up as a permanent cast member on ‘Come To Play’.”

Eun Ji Won previously starred as a permanent cast member on the show for two years (from 2007 to 2009), and was much loved for his role on the show.

In related news, with ’1N2D’ coming to an end, the singer will naturally be leaving the show along with the rest of the ’1N2D’ members.

A Pink’s Eun Ji & Bomi to forgo college this year to focus on promotions

A Pink members Eun Ji and Bomi have decided to focus on music instead of college admissions this year.


The two members, who are currently in their last year of high school, have made the difficult decision to concentrate on promotions rather than take the upcoming college entrance exam.


Their agency revealed to Star News, “Bomi and Eunji have decided to concentrate on music promotions… They will go to college and apply for the field they want to study when they are ready.”


They continued, “Although they have been model students, they currently have more interest in music and want to immerse themselves in it… There are no plans for them to enter college this year. It is something they must decide.”


The A Pink members are hard at work on their new album, and hope to make a comeback by the end of this month at the latest.


Many idols, such asKARA’s Jiyoung, f(x)’s Luna, Girl’s Day’s Mina, SISTAR’s Dasom, INFINITE’s Sungjong, and TEEN TOP’s L.Joe and Chunji, will be participating in the upcoming college entrance examination on November 10th.
