MBLAQ’s Lee Joon spars with former national boxing athlete on ‘Idol Manager’

MBLAQ‘s Lee Joon held a sparring match with a former national Korean boxing athlete.

During the recent filming of MBC‘s ‘Idol Manager‘, the MBLAQ members each participated in sparring matches with a challenger of their choice.

MBLAQ discussed holding an event for their fans in celebration of the group’s 3-year anniversary on October 15, and MC Park Kyung Lim suggested revealing their abs. The MBLAQ members then went to do some circuit and sparring training to build their abs.

The sparring matches were held in a format where the members got to pick their opponents by saying, “You, come out.” Mir picked Seungho, while Thunder chose G.O. However, Lee Joon surprised everyone by fearlessly picking their boxing trainer, a former national boxing athlete, Kim Ji Hoon.

After hearing that his opponent is a former national athlete, Lee Joon replied, “I’m also the national representative of dance.”

The comical sparring match between the trainer and Lee Joon will be revealed on this week’s episode of ‘Idol Manager’, airing on September 7 at 6PM KST.

MBLAQ’s ‘amazon’ dorm scares managers Park Kyung Lim and Kim Sae Rom on ‘Idol Manager’

MBLAQ‘s “amazon” dorm will be revealed on the upcoming episode of MBC Every1‘s ‘Idol Manager‘.

During filming for the August 31st broadcast, managers Park Kyung Lim and Kim Sae Rom showed fear even before visiting the boys’ dorm. The two managers expressed their shock after meeting the MBLAQ members’ not-so-ordinary, reptilian pets.

G.O. explained, “I’m allergic to [animal fur],” to which Park Kyung Lim replied, “Don’t you yourself have a lot of hair though?”

Stars attend ‘Deranged’ VIP movie premiere

A number of famous celebrities gathered on the night of July 4th to attend the VIP premiere of the movie ‘Deranged‘, held at the CGV Wangsimni IMAX theatre located in Haengdang-dong, Seoul.

Directed by Park Jung Woo, ‘Deranged’ is about a man trying to save his family from a widespread infectious disease carried by parasitic worms that induce the infected human to drown themselves.

Stars who attended included Sunny (Girls’ Generation), Bora (SISTAR), Shinhwa, Teen Top, Hello Venus, Joo Ji Hoon, Oh Yeon Seo, Park Kyung Lim, Seo Do Young, Park Jung Ah, Sim Eun Ji, Shin Hyun Joon, Son Tae Young, and Yoo In Young.

Park Kyung Lim spotted within the audience of ‘I Am a Singer 2′

Entertainer Park Kyung Lim recently surprised everyone with her appearance on ‘I Am a Singer 2′ as an audience member.

The first episode of the new season consisted of the twelve singers performing their own hit songs. Lee Eun Mi sang “Nocturne“, Kim Yeon Woo sang “That I was Once by Your Side“, Lee Soo Young sang “Hwilili“, Jung Yeob sang “I Didn’t Know“, Baek Doo San sang “Rush to the World“, Lee Young Hyun sang “Yeon (Kite)“, Park Wan Gyu sang “Thousand Years of Love“, Park Mi Kyung sang “Reason That Isn’t a Reason“, JK Kim Dong Wook sang “Foolish Love“, Park Sang Min sang “My Love in Distant Memory“, Jung In sang “I Hate You”, and Kim Gun Mo ended with “Seoul’s Moon“.

During Lee Eun Mi’s performance, the camera was directed towards the audience to survey their reaction, and viewers were surprised to see Park Kyung Lim sitting amongst the audience. It turns out she had come to cheer on ‘I am a Singer 2′ and the comeback of her close friend, Lee Soo Young.

Viewers commented, “Was that Park Kyung Lim? I was so surprised“, “I think she was there for Lee Soo Young“, and “Her expression was just like mine. In awe.”
