MBLAQ receives a warm welcome in Indonesia for their ‘The BLAQ% Tour’





MBLAQ has received a warm welcome from their Indonesian fans!


On July 1st, representatives of J. Tune Camp revealed, “MBLAQ visited Jakarta for their Asia tour The BLAQ% Tour‘ and were greeted by hundreds of fans that eventually paralyzed the airport. About 100 reporters gathered at their press conference ahead of their concert, so we’re just so thankful for the unexpected response. We believe that MBLAQ’s songs and performances will pay back their support more than any words can.”


MBLAQ performed at the Mata Elang International Stadium on the night of June 30th with 5,500 fans in attendance.

BtoB puts fans in a frenzy at their first Indonesian showcase















On June 21st, BtoB successfully completed their first showcase in Indonesia!


Held at the grand ballroom of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Jakarta, the boys launched their first showcase, ‘BtoB Live in Jakarta‘, to a crowd of fans holding up various support signs written in Korean.


Ahead of the showcase, the boys sat down for an interview with various local media outlets comprised of music critics and journalists that passed favorable reviews like, “Just three months into their debut, BtoB is proving to be popular in Indonesia”, and “They’re a band capable of pulling off various genres.”


Several showed interest in the group’s plans for their Asian promotions and asked questions in regards to their musical direction as a group.


In total, 350 special fans were chosen through a lottery along with 150 industry officials to attend the showcase. Opening with their debut track, “Insane“, the boys amplified the atmosphere by calling up seven lucky fans to the stage to personally teach them the choreography and other couple dances that definitely roused the crowd.


The members came thoroughly prepared to converse with their fans by memorizing key phrases like “I love you”. Member Peniel received an ecstatic response when he was able to say some popular local phrases with aegyo.


The members expressed, “It’s always on stages like this that we’re able to feel that everything can be delivered and expressed through music and dance. It’s our first visit to Indonesia and it was because of your support and cheers that we were able to earn the strength to complete this stage. We want to open a concert to be with more of our fans as soon as possible.”


One broadcast official commented, “Despite being rookies, it was surprising to see not only their talent, but the way they interacted perfectly with their fans.”


Sony Pictures and One Channel celebrated the boys’ showcase by broadcasting select stages through the One Channel.


BtoB will be completing the rest of their TV schedules before returning home to Korea on June 23rd.




JYJ’s Junsu wraps up successful concert in Indonesia with 2,500 attendees





JYJ‘s Kim Junsu recently wrapped up a successful concert in Indonesia, interacting with 2,500 lucky fans who attended the event.


On June 16th, Junsu held his concert, ‘XIA’s first Asian Tour in Indonesia‘ and gave a crowd rocking performance for two whole hours. Along with his title track, “Tarantallegra“, Junsu also performed “Even though you already know“, “I hate love“, “Fever“, “Set me Free“, and more.


Furthermore, there was a talk show where Junsu shared some new phrases he learned. “I am XIA. Is everyone having a good time? I love you“, he said in Indonesian.


After completing the live concert, Junsu expressed astonishment at his high popularity in the country. “I can’t believe I am singing in Indonesia. All of the credit goes to the fans. I was able to hold a good concert despite it being my first time in the country. I’m thankful. I promise that I will come back”, he said.


Junsu is scheduled to continue his Asia Tour with the third installment in Taiwan on the 23rd.

Super Junior successfully wraps up their concert in Indonesia





Group Super Junior successfully wrapped up their ‘Super Show 4′ in Indonesia!


The ‘Super Junior World Tour [SUPER SHOW 4] in Jakarta‘ was held from the 27th to the 29th for three days at the ‘Mata Elang International Stadium’ and gathered 25,000 fans.


This being Super Junior’s first solo concert in Indonesia, the event garnered much excitement as soon as it was announced. When tickets went on sale on the 7th, thousands of fans gathered outside of the ticket office, causing traffic issues. There were also fans who fainted from heat exhaustion while waiting out in the sun for such a long time.


From the fans’ consistent request, an extra day was added to the concert as well. Super Junior became the first international group to perform three sold-out concerts in Indonesia.


When Super Junior arrived at the Sukarno Hatta airport on the 26th, thousands of fans gathered to greet the members, paralyzing the airport. Also, during the interview for their concert, many of the press such as Trans TV, SCTV, and Gaul arrived reminding people of Super Junior’s global popularity.


For this concert, Super Junior performed their hit songs such as “Sorry Sorry“, “Bonamana“, and “Mr. Simple” along with individual performances from each member and special stages put on by the group. Rookie group EXO-M made a guest appearance, performing “MAMA” and “History” as well.


The Indonesian ELF displayed a lot of enthusiasm as they sang along to every song while waving blue glow lights. The fans also put on their own surprise event, creating messages such as “ELF♥SJ FOREVER“.
