Boom runs into trouble because of his comedic image?





Entertainer Boom revealed the inconvenient situations he’s experienced due to his comedic image.


During filming for the September 6th broadcast of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Happy Together 3‘, Boom shared that the first thing people usually do when they meet him is laugh. He stated, “When I go to the bank for bank business, the employees laugh, and when I go to the hospital because I’m sick, the nurses take one look at my face and laugh.”


Boom went on, “I was in the injection room at the hospital alone with the nurse, and she started laughing. The nurse tried to stifle her laughter in order to give me a shot, but she eventually gave up and left. New nurses came in two more times. The third nurse finally succeeded in giving me the injection.”


Comedian Jung Bum Gyoon then shared, “Boom is aware of his popularity, and he takes weird selcas at the crack of dawn.”


This episode of ‘Happy Together 3′ will air on the 6th at 11:15PM KST.

Park Ji Yoon reveals that her parents suffered an embarrassing moment at church because of her song





Singer Park Ji Yoon shared her family’s reaction after she released her hit song ‘Coming of Age‘ (also referred to as ‘Adult Ceremony‘).


Park Ji Yoon appeared as one of the guests on the August 30th broadcast of KBS2‘s ‘Happy Together 3′, and when asked how her family responded after she released her biggest hit song to date, she said, “When I was promoting ‘Coming of Age’ there was a lecture given at my church.”


She shared, “The lecture pointed out that pop culture has a great influence on the youth and as an example for negative pop culture, my song ‘Coming of Age’ was used.  Everyone knew that my parents were in the crowd and they still showed my video as an example, causing my parents much embarrassment.”


Park Ji Yoon concluded, “It was the first time I felt so sorry to my parents.”

Jo Kwon impresses the set of ‘Happy Together 3′ with his heels





Jo Kwon was a guest on the latest episode of ‘Happy Together 3′ and impressed the other guests and MCs with his tall heels.


On this day, Jo Kwon brought out his Jeffrey Campbell heels that he utilizes for his “Animal” performances. The MCs couldn’t hold back their awe as Jo Kwon proceeded to walk around in the tall heels that even some women might have trouble walking in.


Seeing his height boosted considerably with the heels on, the singer was asked about the height of the heels, to which he replied that they were 20 cm tall. He also revealed his real height to be 173 cm, which makes him 193 cm (6’4″) with his heels.

Shin Bora talks about her close friendship with Wonder Girls’ Sun





Comedian Shin Bora briefly discussed about her close friendship with Wonder Girls‘ leader, Sun.


On the July 5th broadcast of KBS‘s ‘Happy Together 3‘, Shin Bora revealed her unexpected close friendship with the Wonder Girls’ member saying, “I first received a call from Sun last year. We met several times and had a meal together, and we even went to go watch performances together.”


MC Shin Bong Sun then mentioned that the two resemble each other, to which she nodded saying, “Yes, when we hang out with each other, a lot of people tell us that we look alike.”


Other guests that participated in this episode were Moon Jung Hee, Kim Dong Wan, Park Sung Kwan, and Jung Tae Ho.

There’s a mirror behind Yoo Jae Suk on ‘Happy Together’?







Netizens have been talking about a “Mirror behind Yoo Jae Suk“. A post with the image above was uploaded on an online community board, and it’s been getting attention ever since.


The screen captures taken are of a regular guest introduction segment on KBS2‘s ‘Happy Together 3‘. The “G4 members”, comedians Jung Bum Kyun, Heo Kyung Hwan, Kim Won Hyo, and Kim Joon Ho, can be seen through square cut-outs in the wall.


Jung Bum Kyun, who is apparently known for looking like Yoo Jae Suk, happens to be in the spot right behind the “nation’s MC” himself. Netizens are saying that they look like a mirror image of each other.


They commented, “They are doppelgangers,” “I was surprised for a moment,” and “Seeing them like this, they really do look alike.”

Comedian Yoo Sang Moo didn’t want to guest on ‘Happy Together’ because of Shin Bong Sun?





Comedian Yoo Sang Moo confessed that he hesitated about whether or not he should appear as a guest on ‘Happy Together 3‘.


On June 28th’s broadcast of KBS2‘s ‘Happy Together 3′, Yoo Sang Moo confessed, “I really thought hard about coming on today.”


Fellow comedian and friend Jang Dong Min explained, “Yoo Sang Moo told us that he didn’t want to come on ‘Happy Together’ .” He added, “The reason is because of Shin Bong Sun,” surprising everyone on set.


Jang Dong Min went on to say, “Yoo Sang Moo is uncomfortable around Bong Sun because of his former girlfriend.” Apparently, in an attempt to appear “cool” in front of his ex-girlfriend, Yoo Sang Moo yelled at his hoobae Shin Bong Sun. However, he later found that his attempt to “defend” his former girlfriend was completely unnecessary and the result of a misunderstanding.


Comedians Yoo Sae Yoon, Ahn Sun Young, and Kim Sae Rom also appeared on the same episode.

Comedian Jang Dong Min reveals he was a bad boy





Comedian Jang Dong Min confessed that he was quite the bad boy back during his school years.


On the June 28th broadcast of KBS2‘s ‘Happy Together 3‘ Jang Dong Min came on as a guest and revealed that he was in his prime when he was a student. “I was very popular back then. I had a fan club when I was in junior high,” he said.


Even at a young age, wanting to stand out from the rest, he would seek out brand names. He confessed, “I did not want to wear the same clothes as the others, so even when we had to wear uniforms for P.E. I would wear athletic brand name training outfits. If my teacher would ask where my real uniform was, I would always tell him that it was being washed.  I think I did this for three years.”


His popularity continued to soar during his school years and thus, Jang Dong Min revealed that he received many love letters from girls. However, he played out his bad boy image, breaking the hearts of girls. “I even tore up a love letter in front of the girl who gave it to me,” he confessed. .


This weeks episode of ‘Happy Together’ continued from where it left off with stories from guests Jang Dong Min, Yoo Sang Moo, Yoo Sae Yoon, Ahn Sun Young, and Kim Sae Rom.

MC Yoo Jae Suk and Comedian Kim Joon Ho are mother and son?





A photo of comedian Kim Joon Ho acting like a baby and lying on MC Yoo Jae Suk was revealed recently.


On June 23rd, Kim Joon Ho posted the picture through his me2day, commenting, “When I am in front of him, I become infinitely smaller.”


In the revealed photo, Yoo Jae Suk and Kim Joon Ho are sporting the famous, blue sauna outfits from the ‘Happy Together 3‘ set. Kim Joon Ho is seen laying on Yoo Jae Suk’s lap with a comfortable expression on his face. In addition, Yoo Jae Suk is looking upon Kim Joon Ho with a friendly expression while petting his head – giving off a ‘motherly pose’.  In particular, Kim Joon Ho’s soft appearance in front of Yoo Jae Suk further proved his me2day comment to be true – drawing laughter from netizens.


Netizens commented, “Is this the power of Yoo god?”, “I want to become Kim Joon Ho”, and “The two people.. For some reason, they seem like mother and son’”.

Actor Sung Dong Il reveals he lost 14 kg for his future project





Popular actor Sung Dong Il (46) showed off a much slimmer image than before on the latest broadcast of KBS‘s ‘Happy Together 3‘


On the June 14th episode, the actor captured the attention of viewers as he showed off his remarkable 14 kg (~31 lbs) weight loss.


“I lost a lot of weight. I’ve become younger,” he stated. He then explained the reason for his sudden change saying, “I lost the weight for my next project,” leaving the viewers impressed with his determination.


Others that guested on this episode were Sung Dong Il’s co-stars Song Sae Byuk, Kim Sung Ryung, and Lee Byung Jun from the upcoming movie ‘King of Flattery‘.

‘Happy Together 3′ drops in viewer ratings





Popular KBS talk show ‘Happy Together 3‘ suffered a drop in viewer ratings.


According to AGB Nielson Research, this week’s episode recorded a nationwide viewership rating of 9.3%, a 2% decrease compared to last week’s broadcast.


Despite having scored a lower rating, it still beat out rival programs in the same time slot like SBS‘ ‘Star Couple Show – Honey‘, which brought in 7.2%, and MBC‘s ‘Korean Music Wave‘, which scored 6.1%.


The June 14th episode of ‘Happy Together 3′ featured cast members Sung Dong Il, Song Sae Byuk, Kim Sung Ryung, Lee Byung Jun, and more from the upcoming movie ‘Comedy King‘.

CNBLUE’s Minhyuk reveals why he can’t sit on people’s laps







CNBLUE‘s Minhyuk brought laughter to viewers as he confessed that he has an insecurity about his behind.


On June 7th, Minhyuk guest starred on KBS‘ ‘Happy Together 3‘ and discussed his insecurity by sharing, “I get a lot of stress for not having much of a butt.”


He added, “When I sit on people’s laps, they tell me not to because it hurts.”


The episode humored the viewers when Minhyuk proceeded to demonstrate by sitting on the laps of some of the MCs and other guests on the show, who started screaming as soon as he sat down.


Meanwhile, this week’s ‘Happy Together’ featured stars from the drama ‘You Who Rolled In Unexpectedly‘.

Ivy comments on her silly facial expressions





Singer Ivy doesn’t seem to be finished making her silly facial expressions just yet. On May 31st’s episode of KBS2TV‘s ‘Happy Together 3‘, actress Oh Yoon Ah commented on Ivy’s tendency to make funny faces.


Ivy first commented, “The skin on my face is really thin so my [facial muscles] can move freely. Because of that, I make a lot of silly faces.” In response, Oh Yoon Ah said, “When I first saw Ivy’s bizarre facial expressions, rather than thinking they were funny, I thought, ‘Why is she doing this?’, and was a bit turned off by it,” generating laughter on set. The actress was later asked by the hosts to attempt her own crazy expressions.


Ivy then stated, “On one program, I showed my silly faces, and it seems viewers were very surprised. There were a lot of responses like: ‘Why is she suddenly acting like that?’ and ‘I guess money is getting tight,’ but that’s just how I usually am.”

Kangta once stopped talking to best friend Lee Ji Hoon over a woman?





Kangta revealed that he once ended his friendship with best friend Lee Ji Hoon over a woman.


During the shoot for the May 31st episode of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Happy Together 3‘, Kangta stated, “Lee Ji Hoon was suspicious of my relationship with his girlfriend, and we stopped talking for a while.”


According to Kangta, Lee Ji Hoon had decided to quit drinking, and would leave early during get-togethers with Lee Ji Hoon’s girlfriend and his mutual friends. Each time, Lee Ji Hoon trusted his best friend Kangta to take his girlfriend home safely.


Lee Ji Hoon explained, “One day, no matter how many times I called my girlfriend, I could not get a hold of her. I felt uneasy, and what made it worse was that I could not get a hold of Kangta either.”


He continued, “I went to see her at her house, and I could still smell Kangta’s cologne in the stairway to the entrance. My suspicions grew to the point I was almost convinced.”


Kangta added, “Lee Ji Hoon’s girlfriend was very intoxicated, and so I took her all the way home. There were many things that lead to a situation in which Lee Ji Hoon could not help but become suspicious.”


The best friends admitted that the misunderstanding was hard on their relationship, and that they stopped communicating for a few months.


Lee Ji Hoon also shocked the guests on set by admitting he once went on a date with comedian Shin Bong Sun.

Tiger JK reveals his life changed after meeting Yoo Jae Suk on ‘Happy Together 3′





On the May 17th episode of ‘Happy Together 3‘, Tiger JK appeared as a special guest.


He shared his admiration for MC Yoo Jae Suk, revealing, “I like to appear on programs that Yoo Jae Suk hosts. I’m very comfortable with Yoo Jae Suk. After meeting him, I gained a valuable life philosophy.”


He continued, “The philosophy is to ‘live as a friendly person like Yoo Jae Suk’. I usually have a habit of ignoring people who try to get close to me, but now I approach others first,” explaining the way he’s changed because of the “nation’s MC”.


When asked if they often text each other, Tiger JK responded, “My wife Yoon Mi Rae has Yoo Jae Suk mania. Yoo Jae Suk gave me his number first so I sent him a couple of texts, but the reply was always the same.”


Yoo Jae Suk explained, “I don’t know much about hip hop, and because his texts were all in hip hop terms, I replied the way I did.” Tiger JK then jokingly commented, “It was to the point that I thought his manager was the one who was replying to my texts.”


Yoo Jae Suk also shared, “I called him once, but he didn’t pick up,” to which Tiger JK explained, “I didn’t pick up because I was nervous. I’m fine with texting but calling is a little uncomfortable for me.”


When asked if he loves Yoo Jae Suk, Tiger JK honestly replied, “Yes, a little bit.”

Tiger JK reveals wife Yoon Mirae will soon be making her US debut





Tiger JK revealed that his wife Yoon Mirae (Tasha) would be breaking into the American market soon.


On the May 17th broadcast of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Happy Together 3‘, Tiger JK proudly remarked, “Mirae will be debuting in the U.S. soon, and I think it will be daebak.”


“She received a love call from Far*East Movement who hit #1 on the Billboard charts and she will be advancing into the American market soon,” he explained, surprising the MCs.


“I asked if I could join them, but Mirae said she would prefer to do it alone,” he added.


He continued, “America only wanted Mirae,” causing everyone to explode into laughter.

Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon opens up about her ‘unprofessional attitude’ controversy





Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon opened up about her behavior during an American interview which sparked some controversy with netizens last year.


On the May 10th broadcast of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Happy Together 3‘, Taeyeon attempted to clear up the misunderstandings.


“I was resting my chin on my hand while looking at the monitor, and that one segment got captured and began the ‘unprofessional attitude’ controversy,” she said.


“The screen capture created a lot of misunderstandings,” she explained.


Fellow member Jessica then added, “Taeyeon wasn’t feeling good that day,” expressing that it was unfortunate for Taeyeon to be swept up in controversy when she was already ill.


Meanwhile, Girls’ Generation member YoonA also made a surprise appearance on the show while filming her KBS drama, ‘Love Rain‘.

Taeyeon, Jessica, and Tiffany reveal the truth behind Girls’ Generation’s weight and meal plans





On May 10th, Tiffany, Taeyeon, and Jessica opened up about Girls’ Generation‘s meal plans and the truth about the weights and heights listed on their profiles on KBS‘s ‘Happy Together 3‘.


The trio was asked to name a member who had a different weight than listed on her profile. The members replied honestly that Sooyoung, standing at 5’6″ (170 cm) tall, weighs at 106 pounds (48 kg), while YoonA, at 5’5″ (168 cm), weighs 48 kg as well.


Jessica and Taeyeon confessed, “Our profiles say we weigh 99 pounds (45 kg), but it’s actually give or take one or two kg.” Tiffany added, “I’m honestly at around 101 to 103.6 pounds (46 to 47 kg).”


When asked how they maintained their weight, Taeyeon replied, “We don’t go on any special diets. I think our natural diets adjusted to our promotional cycles. We also don’t take time off to exercise. We’d probably faint while running.”


On the topic of the group’s meal plans, Tiffany stated, “The meal plan that headlined in the media is only for the members who work out actively. It’s not for all of us. They’re usually only for the members who are doing extra activities like dramas to maintain a certain image. If all of us ate like that, it’d be difficult to promote at the level that we do.”


Netizens commented, “They’re all so skinny,” “Sooyoung and YoonA have daebak bodies,” and “Tiffany’s more honest than I expected.”

Fans are able to recognize Girls’ Generation just by looking at their body parts?





The members of Girls’ Generation expressed that at times, they want to become average girls and live normal lives.


Members Jessica, Tiffany, and Taeyeon guested on the May 10th episode of ‘Happy Together 3‘ and discussed the difficulties of celebrity life.


“We can’t even go to the convenience store even if we want to. There are a lot of things we need to be careful of. Even the most insignificant things are uploaded onto the internet such as what we buy, what we use, and more,” said Taeyeon.


Tiffany also added, “It’s uncomfortable every time we go out, so it’s better to just stay in the dorm.”


MC Park Mi Sun then asked the girls whether they have tried covering themselves up when going out in public. Tiffany revealed, “There was a time when I went to the movie theater with Sooyoung [covered up], but fans were immediately able to recognize us just by looking at our legs.”


Jessica then shared a similar incident saying, “Although we had worn scream masks when we went to an amusement park, they recognized us just by looking at our arms.”


Other guests featured in this episode were the ‘Gag Generation‘ members Shin Bora, Park Ji Sun, and Jung Juri.

Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon reveals she recently bought her parents a house





On the May 10th broadcast of KBS‘s ‘Happy Together 3‘, special guest Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon shared a filial act she did for her parents recently with viewers.


She revealed, “I saved up a bit of money and made my parents cry with it. I didn’t make them cry in a bad way though.”


Taeyeon went on to explain that they had recently moved into a house that she bought and even gifted them with the money she had been saving. When asked by the others how many bathrooms the house had to get a feel for the size, Taeyeon replied, “Three.”

Girls’ Generation members admit they still gets nervous when performing on stage





Despite having been in the industry for five long years, the members of Girls’ Generation admitted that they still get stage fright.


While recently filming for an episode of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Happy Together 3‘, the Girls’ Generation members confessed that they sang the lyrics all wrong on all three major music programs back when they were promoting “Hoot“.


Member Jessica revealed that though the girls have stepped onto many stages during their career, but she still gets stage fright. Jessica continued to explain that she gets more nervous for small stages, as opposed to the large-scale performances.


Tiffany, Taeyeon, and Seohyun who recently formed subgroup ‘TaeTiSeo‘ confessed that they too were nervous for their first stage as a separate unit. They conducted an interview as soon as they stepped down from the stage, and it was revealed that Taeyeon’s hands wouldn’t stop shaking. Taeyeon remarked though it’s been 5 years since their debut, they still get very anxious.
