Girl group Brown Eyed Girls revealed a set of rather crazy selcas.

Brown Eyes Girls’ member JeA recently tweeted, “Who’s the winner?” along with these four pictures.

The pictures were of the four members making funny faces, morphed with Apple’s photo booth.

After viewing these funny pictures, the netizens commented, “Did they throw away their image all together?“, “Funny girl group as expected“, “So charming“, and “I wonder who the winner is.”

[MV] Ga-In (Brown Eyed Girls) - For You Not To Know

No Brain and Brown Eyed Girls’ Ga-In to participate in part 4 of Yoon Il Sang’s ’21st anniversary’ album

 

After collaborating with well-known artists such as Kim Gun Mo, Kim Bum Soo, Lee Eun Mi, Super Junior, and 10cm, composer Yoon Il Sang has now worked with two other talented artists for part 4 of his ‘21st anniversary‘ album.

This time, Yoon Il Sang has collaborated with punk rock band, No Brain, and Brown Eyed Girls‘ Ga-In for the upcoming release.

Brown Eyed Girls’ Ga-In, who successfully completed promotions for the group’s 4th full-length album ‘Sixth Sense‘, will be remaking As One‘s ‘I Wish You Didn’t Know‘ ,which was released back in 1999. Fans are highly anticipating Ga-In’s participation in the album as she has been limiting her outside activities ever since the group ended promotions for ‘Sixth Sense’.

On the other hand, No Brain will be remaking the title song of Kim Gun Mo’s 5th album, ‘A Bird Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest’. The band has been actively appearing on KBS‘s ‘Immortal Song 2‘ as well as performing at multiple concerts.

Lance, the producer of the album and CEO of Neganetwork, stated, “All the remake songs that have been released in Yoon Il Sang’s ’21st anniversary’ album were great and successful, however part 4 of the album will contain Ga-In and No Brain’s unique music styles, as well as their reinterpretation and reillumination of the past hit songs.“ He continued, “Directed by Yoon Il Sang, fans can look forward to the release of part 4 and part 5 which will be released later on.”

Part 4 of Yoon Il Sang’s ’21st anniversary’ album is scheduled for release on March 21st and the music video will be released at 10AM on that day.

Dynamic Duo and Brown Eyed Girls’ Miryo to become trainers on ‘Made in U’

Hip-hop group Dynamic Duo and Brown Eyed Girls‘ Miryo will be appearing on the audition program JTBC‘s ‘Made in U‘ as a special guest trainers.

‘Made in U’ is an audition program in which viewers get to vote on who moves onto the next round and who gets eliminated.

On last week’s episode, four contestants failed to impress viewers and were unable to move on to the next round. However, the four will be given a second chance through a second mission titled ‘Rap Challenge’, but only two will qualify.

Netizens are curious to see how these ‘idol’ contestants will transform into rappers under the guidance of Dynamic Duo and Miryo, as well as who will remain and who will go.

Brown Eyed Girls’ Narsha to make her acting debut through MBC’s ‘Light and Shadow’

Brown Eyed Girls‘ Narsha will soon be making her acting debut!

It’s been reported that Narsha will be participating in MBC‘s ‘Light and Shadow‘. Officials of the drama revealed to Star News that “Narsha is in the works to participate in the drama. Her exact role has yet to be determined, but we are currently reviewing a very multi-faceted character for her.”

There’s a large chance that Narsha will play either a rookie singer, an aspiring singer, or a star who was once famous in the ’70s and ’80s. Thus far, there have been many special guests on ‘Light and Shadow’, including Big Bang‘s Seungri and actor Park Joon Gyu.

The representative continued, “We haven’t decided yet if this will be a special one-time cameo, or if she will participate in a few episodes. There’s even discussions on whether or not Narsha will join the production as a permanent cast member.”

Narsha’s agency stated, “We predict that she will begin filming within the week. Through ‘Light and Shadow’, Narsha will be accepting the challenge of acting and showing an image that is different from what’s been seen on stage.”

Brown Eyed Girls’ Jea reveals she’s become a vegetarian

Brown Eyed Girls‘ Jea has revealed that she’s become a vegetarian.

On January 26th, she tweeted, “Ah~ I think many of you were surprised by my English skills ^^; I did get better at it, but I actually requested the help of my friend who lives in the States, hehe. I’m embarrassed by all the compliments, hehehe. *Cry* I’m hungry, but I’m a vegetarian whose reality is that pizza is not an option ㅜㅜ .”

As Korea’s most prolific celebrity animal rights activist, singer Lee Hyori expressed her pleasant surprise at Jea’s admission. “Vegetarian?!”, she wrote, to which Jea responded, “I used to not be able to live without meat, but I felt as if my personality was becoming somewhat wild, so I quit meat. Ahem… this is my second week.”

Those who saw the exchange commented, “Hehe, Hyori unni was the first to take notice at the word ‘vegetarian’”, “You’re slender even now, but I guess you’ll become even more slender~”

In related news, the Korean Vegetarian Confederation chose Hyori for the title of ’2011′s Famous Vegetarian Singer’. Hyori is known to have become a vegetarian after she began volunteering at an animal shelter in 2011.

Brown Eyed Girls member Miryo is set to release her first solo album on February 1st.

The charismatic rapper has not only co-produced major portions of the record, but has taken creative control over its lyrical content and general musical direction.

With album jacket and music video shoots well under way, Miryo’s focus for the next few weeks will be on perfecting the album.

Due to the overwhelming success of fellow Brown Eyed Girls members Ga-In and Narsha’s solo albums in the past, fans are anticipating the same from Miryo.  “Miryo will show a side of her that fans have never seen,” says producer Lance, “You will be able to see her true colors through this record.”

Miryo’s solo album (title to be announced) will be available for digital pre-orders starting from January 19th.

Jo Kwon and Ga-In, also known as the ‘Adam Couple‘, thrilled their fans last night after performing their rendition of HyunA and Hyunseung‘s “Trouble Maker” at the 2011 MBC Gayo Daejaejun.

The sexy performance left fans hungry for more ‘Adam’ love, and Cho Young Chul PD fulfilled their wish by tweeting a photo of the two together. He joked, “Ah, that mark on his neck.. is it Ga-In?”

In the photo, a red lipstick stain stands out visibly on Jo Kwon’s neck. Ga-In is seeing staring into the camera with a sly expression on her face, while Jo Kwon seems frozen with his eyes cast downward.

Netizens commented, “I enjoyed the performance greatly. Trouble Maker is good, but the team work between the Adam couple was the best,” and “Adam couple will never die. I was so happy to see this collaboration.”

Brown Eyed Girls’ Ga-In signs a solo album contract with LoenEntertainment

The Brown Eyed Girls‘ Ga-In has announced that she has signed a solo contract with Loen Entertainment.

Ga-In’s activities with the Brown Eyed Girls will continue as usual under the group’s current agency, Nega Network. Nega Network will still be responsible for everything regarding the group as a whole, while Loen Entertainment manages her solo music and acting endeavors.

On December 21st, Loen Entertainment revealed, “Loen and Nega Networks are collaborative labels bringing together artist management and music distribution. The contract is only regarding Ga-In’s solo albums, and is not a formal transfer.”

Nega Networks also confirmed, “There will be no changes to Ga-In’s activities under the Brown Eyed Girls. Her next solo albums will simply be produced under Loen Entertainment, as per the contract.”

The Brown Eyed Girls have been named as the newest models for cosmetics brand, ‘Skin 79‘!

After kicking off their comeback with “Sixth Sense“, the ladies wrapped up this year’s activities with “Cleansing Cream“. Perhaps the song alluded to the future, since the girls will be promoting the brand’s latest BB cream product.

The Brown Eyed Girls are currently in the midst of planning their Asia tour, which will cover not only Japan, but China and Southeast Asia as well. The group will be bringing their modeling duties with them, launching the brand to worldwide fame.

Representatives of ‘Skin 79′ stated, “We’ll be starting active promotions with Hallyu girl group Brown Eyed Girls come 2012 to become the #1 BB cream brand. We’re looking forward to the cosmetics industry playing a part in the Asian market right alongside K-Pop.”

Recently, the Brown Eyed Girls‘ Narsha drew much attention from netizens with a underwear photoshoot that showed off her beautiful figure. Additional pictures from this photoshoot have been revealed, creating buzz once again.

In the first set of revealed pictures, Narsha drew dreamy expressions while modeling various underwear fashions, drawing out her alluring character. This time around, Narsha displayed a more youthful, unique look with a checkered bra with a printed zipper as well as a star-printed bra for ‘Levi’s Bodywear‘.
